Could improve across the board. My experience felt like a classic bait-and-switch sales approach combined with poor customer service. I visited the showroom and found a hot tub I was interested in purchasing. The following day, I called ready to move forward based on the pricing and details I was originally shown. However, once financing was discussed, the terms changed. The advertised package originally included an electric cover, but I was told that if I financed the purchase, the cover would be removed and pricing/specifications would change. What made the experience frustrating was that the website promotes financing, but the final offer did not match what was originally presented. It also felt like pricing was being adjusted above manufacturer retail while still being marketed as a "sale." As a customer, transparency and consistency matter. If a product is advertised at a certain price with included features, those terms should remain clear regardless of payment method. The experience reminded me of seeing a car at one price and then being quoted something different when you're ready to buy. Disappointing experience overall. read more

We went there and it started out so good .we were thinking about which one wanted as it was a little more than we had to spend.The salesman CALLED us and offered us a Bullfrog A7 spa refurbished/warranty model at a great deal .We put a deposit and received a contract, this one was listed also on their website and they called 2 and half days later and we were told it was already sold.We checked hours after the refund and it's still on the website for sale. This company will promise you the world to sell you a spa, but once they get your money the customer services disappears. I won't post the blow by blow of my multitude of issues with Spa, Hearth and Home, but I have been trying since July 2024 to get them to replace parts that are under warranty for my spa with little response from them, leaving my spa inopérable at this time. What response I did get, is often short and rude. They to prefer text message for communicating, which is wonderful as I have documentation of all the issues I've had with them. Because of a lack of response from Spa, Hearth, and Home, I have been in contact with Artesian, the maker of my spa, several times. They have been quite responsive and helpful, though Spa, Hearth and Home always places blame on Artesian for doesn't respond to them and claiming they are at fault for the delay in replacing my parts. I finally had them scheduled to come out today between 1-2pm to replace one of the parts. I texted this morning, confirming that they were still coming, as it snowed last night. I got no response and waited around until 2:30. Since no one showed up, I called Spa, Hearth and Home directly and was told that the maintenance worker called out because he didn't think he'd have any jobs today and the repair manager was out sick. I asked why no one called to let me know that my appointment was canceled and got a faint apology and more excuses. I am now waiting for someone to reach back out to schedule another appointment (which I waited two weeks for initially), meanwhile, my spa is sitting in freezing cold temperatures with stagnant water in it. A home spa is a big purchase and something you want to have for years. My suggestion is not purchasing one from Spa, Hearth and Home or you will be left out of luck when you need maintenance work done. Went from bad service on my hot tub, to bad customer service. all over one leaky pipe. long story short (technician) i mean some guy working for them didn't have the knowledge to get the job done right the first time.The pipe coming from Pump 3 had a slow leak after he serviced it. Came back with a torch trying to soften up pipe. i really can't make this stuff up. You'll notice by the burn marks in photo. Anyway the same pipe leaked again. i called left a message. time went on no return call. I go to showroom, spoke to randy, / owner. He takes my info...ill have someone reach out. Never happened of course. Next season, pipe blows out, hot tub empty. i go in person, only for them to tell me, it never happened and they don't know what I'm talking about, along with randys theory / analogies he raised his voice. i left and said don't worry about it. I'm sure it will cost less than 80 bucks for me to just do this myself. BEWARE of their service representatives. He mentioned 3 year warranty. yeah well if i wasn't so busy or you had someone get back to me, it wouldn't of drug out that far. But at the end of the day...it has your name on it. the end read more

Called on Monday morning to get information about fireplaces and ideas for a house we are building. I spoke with Robert on Tuesday and made an appointment to meet at the property on Thursday for 9:30am. At 9:40am on Thursday while waiting at the property for our appt I called Robert to check on his whereabouts. Starts telling me that he can be there later in the morning and how appointments are at a premium. I'm a contractor, I understand appointments and customer relations. He had my number but did not call to tell me he would not make our appointment, was also not concerned in the least that I stopped what I was doing and drive 25 minutes to make it to the appointment that he scheduled, he chose the time and date. Needless to say I will be looking for a new company with better customer reaction policies... read more

I was in the market to replace my hot tub at the shore. It was leaking and old. We researched the area tub dealers and went into Home,Hearth and spa in Maple Shade and spoke to Randy he showed us at models on the showroom but said that they would have more models available at the Philadelphia home show. We went to the show and purchased the spa there and scheduled delivery in March but with the corona virus it didn't come in until April and when it was installed there was a feature that we thought was on the spa but it was missing and I don't notice it until the spa was installed. I called Randy that day and with the corona shut down he called me later in the day. We discussed the issue and he said let me think about the problem and I will call you tomorrow. Randy called me back and said the omission on the option was not their fault but he would order a new spa for us but it wouldn't be in until June. I wanted to use the spa for May and June, Randy said when the new spa comes it he would swap it at that time. The new spa was installed yesterday it was just the way we wanted and the installers were great, professional and nice. What great customer service. I called 3 times to have my hot tub winterize. Each time I was told someone will call me back. I finally gave up and contacted another dealer who will be coming out next week. I purchased my tub here and have been getting all my chemicals from Spa Hearth & Home. I am sorry to say they have lost a customer. read more

I cannot say enough great things about this company. I bought my first hot tub from Spa Hearth & Home in 2003 and all the way until it's last day in 2015, Spa Hearth & Home personally serviced the hot tub (not a contractor) and answered all of my questions. When I was finally able to replace the 2003 hot tub, my initial thought was "why go anywhere else?" However, since, I live approximately 20 miles away from Spa Hearth & Home (and I had not been there since early 2015), I went to a few local places before taking the drive to Maple Shade. Fortunately, that comparison shopping only made me appreciate this company more. No hidden fees, no bull, just straight up honesty and quality from the second I walked in the door and said "I am looking to replace my 16 year old hot tub". My salesman, Rick, knew exactly what he was talking about, did not try to sell me things I did not need and was even able to look up the sales record from my 2003 purchase so he knew what I had already and could make appropriate recommendations and comparisons to ensure I got exactly what I wanted and needed. Even better .... the price I was quoted included delivery, set up, cover, first month chemicals, steps and removal of the old tub. Rick even put it all in writing and let me go home and think about it before I made the purchase. Do Not use this company! I paid almost $10,000.00 for one of their hot tubs. 2 1/2 years later the motor is failing. We have called multiple times to have someone come out and fix it and were put off repeatedly by the staff telling us to take the filter out for a few days, etc. and wait for this and that and finally told it would be 12 days before they could send out a repairman!! This is in November when the temperatures are dropping in the 20's at night. This is after agreeing that the spa is still under warranty. This was told to us after several previous phone calls. I offered to pay to get something done sooner ( filter sent in ) and they still could not help us any sooner. The repairman I spoke to was glib and insulting and I could not get anything done to have this repaired any sooner. I may lose the tub altogether and my only alternative is to use a local repairman and spend $700.00 for a new motor plus repairs. This is an unacceptable situation and because of their inability to have enough repairmen ( which tells me a great deal about their products) I may lose the hot tub altogether. I suggest you do NOT buy a product from this company. read more
