Sure I could have went with a fancy pre-owned ball but eventually I went with a new stock 13lb Brunswick Twist which is working out great. I wanted something light but had great visual reference as it went down the lane. I know nothing and own no equipment other than a ball I picked up that day, an old kids ball and the bag that came with it. However, it feels great to hold and throw game after game with little fatigue. Don't even know if it is drilled pin up or pin down and it works for me fine. Doesn't pull too hard right but definitely will hook hard at the end. Am I a better bowler now, heck no, but the ball is predictable and my scores have gone up over the last four games on different lanes.
