I never ever leave anything less than 5 star reviews but sadly I had such a negative experience here that I felt I had to share it. I went in to purchase my first delta 8 vape pen, hoping to help relieve pretty severe anxiety. I asked for the employee's best recommendation and he told me to try the Cake brand. I believe his name was Sam. I left satisfied, but after trying the vape it caused pain in my lungs and a lot of coughing (I've smoked CBD and other things and have never had this problem). I looked up the company and found they have no website, no contact information, and I found multiple sources stating this is an illegitimate company with bad products. I went back about 5-10 I minutes later, hoping for a refund or exchange, and while explaining the situation was rudely cut off by the employee, telling me he will not do anything for me. I tried to explain he recommended this and it's a bad product from a fake company. I was even willing to exchange it for something cheaper. He refused, and said he doesn't know what I'm trying to do. I started crying (like I said, I have pretty severe anxiety and I tend to break down in these situations) and he then told me crying won't change anything, the transaction is done and that's it. He was extremely rude and condescending throughout the entire interaction. He insisted Cake is a legitimate company, and said to ask them for a refund, so I told him to give me their contact information and I would gladly do that. (He was unable to provide me with any contact information for Cake. He gave me the phone number for a 3rd party retailer). He also called his boss, who was rude as well and not at all helpful or understanding. So, beware: this company will sell you fake products, and will treat you like complete garbage in the process! I urge you to reconsider shopping at Twisted Smoke Shop, it is clear they don't care about their customers. When I began smoking flavored cigars, my friend brought me to Twisted Smoke Shop. I drive from Queens for all of my cigar needs and Sam has assisted me every time that I've been there. He makes great suggestions and my taste in cigars has matured with his assistance. Prices are reasonable and the store has gone through nice renovations since I began going there (looks good and clean/organized well). I have been coming to this shop for years. I purchased a torch lighter. It operated very poorly. lit was bad quality and I did not want another one. I just asked to use the money for another lighter The owner refused this. I disputed on my credit card and was given a credit. But it's the credit card taking a loss. No refund from the store. This is the father in the store. I've had problems with him before. He is very cheap. His son is a nice guy. read more
