I see a bunch of negative comments, but I'm here to give a more positive experience. My son (4 years old) has autism and this was his first dentist appointment. I was anxious, but the experience went smooth. The lobby was very spacious and clean. They have a small little indoor playground. Nothing special, but my son enjoyed the slide while we waited. The receptionist was very nice and helped with the paperwork. The wait was slightly long, but there was a decent amount of patients in the lobby so I chalked it up to them being busy. Dentist came in, was very nice, checked for cavities and thankfully he didn't have any. Process was very quick and efficient. Hygienist came in shortly after and double checked his teeth and did a quick cleaning. They knew ahead of time about my son having autism and was very gentle and soothing. He was having some behaviors, but they worked through it and was patient and careful. They talked him through it and was able to get him to open his mouth, say cheese, and checked his teeth quickly. Overall my opinion is this: Clean place, slightly long wait time, very sweet and patient staff, and dentist was quick and efficient. I would personally recommend. Like I said, my son didn't have any cavities or issues so I can't speak on having crowns or fillings put in. But this is because me and his mother try and brush his teeth twice a day. Brush your children's teeth and hopefully your child won't need work done on their teeth. read more

Extremely upset! My 3 year old daughter had her fist appointment ever today and they convinced me that she needed 9 crowns! They said it was not an invasive procedure and would only take about 45 min. We arrived at 1pm and didn't get out until 5:30!! They wouldn't let me in the procedure room, when she came out she looked like she'd been crying for hours! On the way home she told me that they used a "safety hug" to keep her on the table and she didn't like it. Wtf is A safety hug?? I asked if she got any shots and she said "no but it hurt really bad when they put the crown as in". This leads me to believe that they didn't even numb her. DON'T TAKE YOUR KIDS! DO NOT GO HERE !!!! Straps children down to beds/boards!! Don't let parents in the rooms!! Rushes parents into signing paperwork without letting them try to actually read the paperwork. Tried justifying pulling MULTIPLE teeth from a 4 year old without any valid reasoning. CAPPED 3 teeth (which are all baby teeth and are going to fall out soon)!!! Put a spacer in the 4 year olds mouth, for what? Her mouth is going to expand as she gets older. This littler girl is very traumatized from what happened to her. Lawyering up & suing this place !!! If I could give zero I would! ABSOLUTELY WORST place to take your chid or anyone at all. I personally got my wisdom teeth pulled friday, the doctor was rude. i could feel EVERYTHING and I told him multiple times that I could even pulled his hand OUT OF MY MOUTH and his response was the get up and leave if I didn't stop crying. After having a panic attack I left and was in absolute pain. I got home and the medicine they gave me wasn't working I called and called and called to tell them they finally get back with me the next day and tell me pretty much to suck it up that it's going to hurt. I then schedule an appointment to have it looked at. These ignorant doctors threw some brown paste on a piece of gauze and then told me op I can't see the whole so it's on your cheek just don't eat the paste and then had me leave. If I could leave no stars I would. My son has never had any issues going to the dentist until coming here. Now he's terrified at just the mentioned of a dentist. When my son had to get his caps we were there for hours and my son came out looking like he had been crying the entire time. He came in and was absolutely the rudest dentist I've ever seen, to both me and my son during our second visit. When he came in the room and my son wouldn't let him touch him that was a huge red flag for me. He kept being very harsh with my son and making very rude comments and just generally being unpleasant. He told me if my son wouldn't let him look in his mouth he would take him into the back room and have his assistants hold my son down but I wouldn't be allowed back there, so I told him he wouldn't be taking him. He then told me he could see all he needed to through my sons x-rays but next time he would need to look in his mouth regardless. I told him we wouldn't be back. For an office that is centered around children, further traumatizing children and making the experience the most unpleasant that you can shouldn't be your goal. I will never be back and will try to deter anyone I know from taking their children here. read more

The worst experience we've ever had with dentists. Our kids' insurance prompted us to go here, at the time they were 4 and 2, 2's first dental visit. As an adult, I've never been scared of dentists and didn't think much of it since my dad was going with the 4 year old and I was staying with the 2 year old who has physical disabilities, which they said they could accommodate before I set up the appointments. I later found out they did not let my dad go back with my daughter, which they did not communicate to me. I was informed in the middle of waiting around in the back forever with my son that they were doing "some crowns" because that would be easier than doing fillings between teeth on baby teeth. They did SIX CROWNS on my 4 year old. The longest conversation I had with them was the dentist in passing through my son's room saying they wanted to extract an extra tooth to make room for her teeth to grow in, and said there was a small chance it had fused to another tooth. I asked if it needed to be pulled and he said it did because it could be infected between the two. Now I realize I should've gotten a second opinion. They pulled it and it ended up being fused to the other tooth, so this huge gap is in the front of her face and six crowns. I'm not sure why I didn't ask if they could see it fused together on the x rays? Or why they didn't communicate how many crowns were being done? Meanwhile I stayed with my son who I held for the entire cleaning. They wrapped him in the straight jacket for the "one small filling" which I assumed was because of his physical disability but he wouldn't sit still for the gas so it was an awful scenario. I'm sure it hurt like crazy. I don't exactly blame them for the straight jacket but folks later I got a bill from them that insurance wouldn't cover for "behavior management- by report" for $180. So I called ahead for a pediatric dentist to make certain my handicapped son could be seen, only for my older child to get way too much stuff done, seemingly unnecessarily because our old dentist didn't see these issues, and my son to be charged for "behavior" when I did all the work for the cleaning. Was this the charge for the straight jacket? If so, should have been upfront about it! Either way, I feel like they took advantage of me for being separated from my daughter and being more focused on my son. When we were leaving and my poor daughter was so upset that she was alone, the lady at the desk said, "you didn't schedule your next appointment." Not anything like, you guys did so well, we're so proud of you! Needless to say I just stared at her and then said we weren't coming back. read more

0 stars. This is the worst place to ever take your child. I would give anything if I had read the reviews before I took my 3 year old grandson here. I will never make that mistake again. they won't let anyone go back with the child, should have been a warning sign, he was back in a room alone with these people. I don't know what they did to him but he was so traumatized when he came out he was crying so hard and his top lip was so swollen. They put 6 caps on his teeth in one day. I don't know if they numbed it but from the way he was crying so hard and say my teeth hurt, my teeth hurt, I don't think they did. I asked for some pain meds for him and they said just give him some Tylenol when you get home. That's a 45 minute drive. We had to put cold compress on his lip to get the swelling dow, that took 3 days to do and here the 4th day and he still has a sore on it. He wouldn't eat for 2 days because he was afraid it would hurt. I don't know how this place stays in business but I will never take my grandson back to this torture chamber. It is going to be a huge problem getting him to another dentist to get his bottom teeth fixed but he won't get them done in this horrible place. This 3 yr. Please do your homework before you take your little ones here. This company used to go by the name of Kool smiles,but since they were under so many investigations and trouble, they opened under a new name. This place/company not only uses wrist restraints but performs unnecessary work. (First red flag, when they wouldn't allow me to go back with my children)They placed 6 silver capps on my 6 year old (baby teeth) and wanted me to come back for an additional 3! Both kids came out crying and I had a terrible pit in my stomach over the whole thing,I called our family dentist whom both kids seen just 6 months prior for cleaning, he pulled their X-rays and said he did not see one cavity and there is no way in only 6 months all these cavities came. Besides these are baby teeth,completely unnessary!
