After reviewing the menu and discovering that there were no traditional children's items, we were going to leave but the waitress took the time to ask what the kids would normally eat. When we mentioned chicken fingers, she said it would be no problem. The chef made the kids chicken fingers by cutting up a chicken breast and breading it. The kids loved it. The menu is heavily influenced by Acadian cooking. My wife had the chicken fricot, which is a chicken and dumplings stew. It was excellent as were the clams and chips I had. In fact, they were the best fried clams I've ever had. The portiions are large - so large that I ate the clams and could only eat a few fries despite the fact they were home-made and delicious. If you are ever in the Bouctouche area, I highly recommend you give this place a try.

It is an old fashioned fish restaurant - order your food at the counter, go take a seat, and your order will be delivered by the friendly cashier on a plastic cafeteria tray. The food itself is served in a cardboard container. The fries were fantastic and the fish was well cooked and tasty. The fish pieces were not large (I would say small - medium), but the meal was the perfect size for me. I ate it all and was full but not overfull. When I am in the area again, I will most definitely visit again. They know how to cook their food!
