How often does the owner come up, chat with your table, and sit down for some welcome conversation? How often do they really, actually care and go out of their way to find out how you like the food? He was very proud of the buffalo wing flavoured mussels with blue cheese dipping sauce - his own creation. Rightfully proud, I might add, they were soooo tasty, great flavor combination! And when we mentioned that we were interested in deep sea fishing, he called up his cousin and handed my husband his cell.
