Paid $26 for fried clams, expected whole tender clams...they were small and overcooked. VERY disappointed.

Creamy and filled to the brim with fruits of the sea. Just when I thought there had to be potatoes in my spoon, my mouth was met with scallops on scallops on scallops. I love the way the restaurant prepared their lobster, minimally, as to preserve the natural texture and flavor of the ocean. The fries are made from locally grown potatoes, fried to crisp on the outside, starchy and squishy on the inside. The bacon tightly wrapped around the scallops, adding a sweet and salty note to a soft pillow. The mussels were bouncy meaty but was paired with a white wine sauce infused with an herb that we were not fans of (perhaps tarragon?). The 15-20min wait was well worth the meal. The bustling environment was telling of its popularity among locals and tourists. Takeout available and it also sells and packages freshly captured seafood to go.

You can tell it's good because it's so popular. They don't take reservations, and we had to wait an hour for the table. By the time we got our table, it was less than half an hour till closing time, and they had run out of the chowder. Service was pleasant, although they were tired from a full and busy day. On top of this, our visit ran nearly an hour and a half past closing time!. Since they were out of chowder (I really wanted lobster!), I ordered fish tacos. They were good, but the Cole slaw was great! I would definitely go back.

There's hardly anything to choose from, and it's very over priced for what you get. The poutine is only one size and is actually mozza fries with hardly any cheese or gravy, and you hardly get any fries. My friends got regular sandwiches (turkey sandwiches, BLT) and liver and onions, even though that's not what they wanted, there was just hardly anything else to choose from! I wanted soup but they didn't have it on the menu, it was on a small chalk board that you can't see while you're sitting, I seen it while I was going to the bathroom, so after I ordered I was very disappointed to see they actually did have soup. The only thing I liked about this place was the prices of drinks and how kind our waiter was. If you're looking for a meal, maybe try Frank & Gino's.

No potato filler, real lobster, and delicious, creamy soup. Literally has a tasty seafood morsel in every bite. Hubbies had a decent Chef's Salad and I also had a yummy grilled cheese sandwich on homemade bread. Side Buns were homemade as well but a bit crumbly. Everything was tasty but the stR of the show was definitely the Chowder, can't say enough good things about it! Reasonable price, solid portions. Not fancy but definitely worth a visit.
