Along our journey we decided to play around of putt putt and boy this place was a blast. You can play 18 or 36 holes... we only did 18 the Blackbeard holes. The staff was awesome and told us if you play 18 the kids would enjoy Blackbeard the best as you get to go on the ship with his, and they were right they got on the ship and steered that wheel like crazy... as a matter of fact the whole family took a turn at it as well including me lol. My family recently vacationed in Branson, and I'm a sucker for good miniature golf. So, one morning while the family went to a waterpark...I went in search for the best miniature golf course, and this place had stellar reviews. It did NOT disappoint. I showed up about 10:30, and it was decently crowded. I knew I had time, so I opted to play both courses (the price for both courses STUNNED ME: only $20!) The "easier" course was much less crowded. I really didn't have to wait until my second round (on the "harder course". Bottom line: be prepared to wait...I encountered decently large groups. The course itself was immaculate. I saw no wear and tear on any hole. I had a lot of fun playing both courses; they both had a lot of cool challenges. The pirate theme, including a ship on water with tons of big, beautiful koi fish in the water, were nice touches. So glad I visited Pirate's Cove. My only criticism !? They could do so much more with the interior of the building. Seriously? Offer snacks, food, video games...fill all that empty space with somethin'! read more

Challenging and fun. A lot of time went into creating this place and a lot of care is taken to keep it nice. Very clean property, the courses are immaculate and the staff are friendly and helpful. We had date night here and had a blast. We chose the harder course and we actually got 4 hole-in-ones between the 2 of us. We will go back before we leave just to play the other course now. We played the Blackbeard course here and really liked it. It was well maintained and the set up of the holes had the right amount of challenge. We really liked the pirate theming, they had done a great job with that. There is lots of running water which is always a nice touch. The story of Blackbeard that continued through each hole was enough that I'll want to read a bio of him when I get home. The flowers planted around the course were really beautiful. We had played the dinosaur course a couple of blocks away earlier in the week and this was definitely better. read more

We LOVE mini golf (or putt-putt, if you will) and were so excited to see a Pirate's Cove just across the street from where we were staying at Marriott's Willow Ridge. There are two courses here - go for the captains course if you have youngins with you. (It is admittedly too easy of a course - there were an obscene number of holes-in-one scored by the adults in the group...even all the kids ages 3+ managed to get a hole-in-one at least once!). I appreciate that this course is handicap/stroller accessible! Such a rarity. The course is well maintained and the equipment is also in great shape. Prices are pretty average for mini-golf. Kiddos get a fun goodie bag at the end and there are lots of great spots for pirate-y photo ops. Definitely recommend for some good family fun while in Branson! read more

We were looking at mini golf places and we had coupons from a brochure so we came here. The people in the front counter were really nice and funny. They had 2 corses, captain, or Blackbeard. Of course, we did the harder one Blackbeard. The decor was authentic and it was touching. Even though I succ at mini golf, we had a blast. Even everyone in our family got a hole in one. We went back a second time on our trip to Branson. We've been to another pirates cove in another city so were not disappointed.

One of the nicer mini-golf courses we have visited. For our competitive group of 5, it took us under two hours, and that included time to allow several smaller groups to play through. This course is amazing! Followed COVID guidelines but allowed us to take off masks while on the course away from other people. The course is well maintained and has very friendly staff. We always make it a point to play when we visit. It's fun for the whole family and each course has its unique details. The signs at each hole give informative and intriguing pirate facts that will engage every player. The Captains Course is stroller and wheelchair accessible. Having played on this course about 10-15 years ago as a child, it was a no brainier to revisit and bring my own child to experience the thrill. This a great mini golf course with a Blackbeard the Pirate theme. There are two courses to choose from, one being a difficult course and the other a much easier course. We opted to do the difficult course and found it to be challenging. We had a blast playing it, but I'm stumped on how they determined the typical par for each hole, as each one was extremely low according to the scoreboard. Each hole offered signage with different facts of Blackbeard's life and infamy. The course was also decorated wonderfully with waterfalls, pirates, treasure and a pirate ship. At the beginning of the course is a candy machine with fish food for 25¢ , make sure you grab some because around the Pirate ship there are boatloads of Koi just waiting to be fed. It took us about 45 minutes to get through this entire course, with little to no wait time between each hole. All the employees were friendly and helpful. One offered fun facts about the building of some of the decorations as he made rounds checking trash bins. At the end of the course, our son was given a goodie bag with a pirate accessories and a few small themed toys. It was an enjoyable time by all and we would definitely visit again. read more

New greens. Two courses. Easy course has a lot of finesse shots, difficult course has a lot of pipe shots where the more difficult pit results in a hole in one. Acing a lucky hole gets you a free game. Bring some quarters because you can feed the koi in their dyed ponds. I think that they should have more fish food machines around other holes instead of the front. Great hilly course. Pro tip: hitting into the water can get you a hole in one on 18. :) read more

Great place to spend a beautiful sunny afternoon. We had visited a Pirate's Cove golf course in Williamsburg, VA and were excited to see this one in Branson. Our prior experience was very fun and memorable and we eagerly stepped in to buy our round of golf and start swinging. We played Black Beard's course, the hard one! There were some very challenging holes! We each had two hole-in-ones and little did we know that by doing so we would be awarded a free game if we aced the random hole of the day. That made for a nice treat so we stayed and played the easier course too. Fun signs at each hole point out Pirate Trivia, I like that! I also like the decor and landcsaping. The course has a lot of varitety! Everything from playing on a pirate ship deck, to inside a cave and lots of water traps and waterfalls throughout. A pretty course! Needless to say the next time we pass a Pirate's Cove we will be stopping to play that one too. read more

The staff was very friendly. We did Blackbeard's course. It had lots of interesting facts about Blackbeard at every hole and the course was through a pirate ship, a cave and more! Lots of tricky shots. Several of our balls ended up in the water! The water features were beautiful and natural looking and the ponds were even stocked with koi. The indoor area was closed due to the pandemic but if you are coming for just mini golf you can enjoy as a mask free game with your party. read more
