We have tried to give this place a chance more than a few times thinking it would approve. From the time we came in we waited 10 minutes just to be seated with staff standing around just staring. When we got our food it the fries were cold and stale and the rest of the food was subpar. The menu options are ok but just not a lot of variety. We've been looking forward to trying this new restaurant since it opened. I've heard positive feedback from friends who've eaten the sushi there. We're not sushi fans but since they offer a wide variety of options it was worth a shot. The owners have done a great job renovating the facility. It's very attractive inside and appears to be a great place for date nights. I ordered the fried flounder with broccoli and a salad. My husband had a burger and baked potato. I don't generally order fried food and that wasn't a good choice here, in my opinion. It was just too greasy for my taste. The broccoli was seasoned very well but just way too salty for me. My husband said his meal was "okay". On the positive side, in addition to nice ambiance, our waitress was excellent and the food beautifully plated. You could tell that the chef took pride in the presentation of the food. I would consider returning but selecting a different menu option. read more

The sushi and bacon wrapped scallops were amazing. My two sides were a Caesar salad and sweet hush puppies. The Caesar salad was bland and the dressing was not good. The sweet hush puppies were not sweet and looked nothing like the advertisement. The maple butter tasted like cinnamon butter. A friend got a hamburger and said it was good. The ambience was clean but bland. The service was good. The pricing was too high in my opinion. For this area, it's nice to see a leveled up mid range restaurant. But the pricing was on scale for an upper end restaurant. Since they are newly opened, I am hoping with time they level up to their price point. I would definitely recommend the sushi to anyone. read more

I really wanted to like this place when I walked in but I genuinely could not and will not. A few quick notes: - food on the floor of my table that had clearly been brushed off and not cleaned up. Waitress stepped on it, acknowledge the food being on the floor, never cleaned it up. It sat there the entire service. - no alcohol despite being open nearly a year??? - horrible service. Took 25 minutes for crab Rangoon and seaweed salad appetizer. Even longer for the rolls. Didn't give us any extra plates, any soy sauce, i had to ask four times for chopsticks. No extra napkins, didn't get checked on, nothing. - food was also mediocre at best and extremely overpriced for how bland it was. I understand this is Pilot so a lot of sushi places aren't nearby but wow, absolutely not. I could not give this place any kind of recommendation I'm afraid. read more

The service was excellent. Our server was very attentive and checked on us often and was very friendly. My mom and I both ordered omelettes with hash brown casserole. The omelettes were cooked to perfection! The hash brown casserole was delicious. Every time I go, I can tell that the owner has added some new touches. The photography and artwork on the walls was beautiful. All in all it's a very comfortable and cheerful place to eat. I'm so happy to have a nice sit down breakfast restaurant in our area. read more

Our first time there for breakfast and it was terrible! My husband ordered coffee, scrambled eggs, bacon and gravy. The gravy was cold, like paste and had no flavor. Coffee was lukewarm and when he asked the waitress to heat it up in the microwave, she said they didn't have one. I ordered French toast, fried eggs and hashbrowns. My husband was through with his meal before mine come out. The French toast was soggy, hashbrowns were greasy and the eggs were burnt to a crisp. I didn't know you could destroy an egg that bad! Our bill was almost $30!! We will not be going back! If this restaurant doesn't hire cooks that know what they're doing, it will ever survive!! read more

We went on a soft open night and they had clearly stated when we called that the menu was limited during soft open. We still had good choices - Firecracker Roll was great and definitely brought some heat. Cobb salad was solid. My wife had the salmon which I don't think was the same as listed on the menu it was prepared well but not her favorite. Server was really great -especially considering new open in process. Food was prepared and served promptly. Wish the atmosphere was a little more cozy for conversations etc. it was full of folks and ambient noise. Walked in about 5:40 on a Tuesday evening. Not crowded at all. That's the only good thing I can say. Waitress finally came up to us, said hostess would be with us shortly. Hostess never appeared, so waitress sat us, said server would be right with us. Took our drink orders (non-alcoholic) and brought our drinks. Asked market price of ribeye-she had to check, only to say they had no ribeyes but had everything else. So ordered the cowboy salmon (we were told it was one of their most popular dishes) with a baked potato. Second person ordered hamburger with baked potato. Few minutes later we were informed they only had one baked potato ready to serve. Said mashed potatoes would be okay. Few more minutes and server informed us they were out of the cowboy salmon. That was enough. Week night, early, and ordering things they know are popular -- and this is an upscale restaurant? ? First impressions are lasting--we WILL NOT try this place again. Took my visiting family Christmas Eve Eve :). I had seen all the bad press but was willing to give it a try. We just moved here from Phoenix area and are used to having the option of multiple mid to high end restaurant to choose from. We were a party of 10, including 2 kids. We ordered, sushi, various steaks, kid's meals, salads, hush puppies, chicken sandwiches plus soda/tea/water. Server kept our drinks full and was attentive. Steaks were grilled to perfection, sides were amazing and sushi was great too! My only complaint was sushi did not come out with other menu items. After our meal, I made sure to let Robert know that everything was fabulous! His food and service were comparable to some of the better restaurants in Phoenix. Opening a new restaurant on your own is not an easy task. I see 25 Summit only getting better! read more

As a Seasoned Restuarant Visiter and first time dining with Two Five Summit, you need to get your act together if you plan to keep the doors open. The Food was well below par and there were 3 patrons eating that day with hardly anyone in your establishment. Walking in to visit again for the 1st time we had to wait about 5 minutes before being seated. Our waiter was good and pleasant. I will give that one to your staff, don't remember her name, she took all three orders. Two ordered hamburgers and me being a fish eater and know how to cook all sorts of fish in many ways ordered flounder being this is mostly a seafood estableshment. All three of our orders came out at different times and I had to wait on my fish to come out last. FIsh doesn't take long to cook. I know that. The two burgers were undercooked and flavorless. ( most likely frozen to the grill not hand formed) In the restuarant business that is a big NO NO. You know that too, or I hope you do. I was looking for a good experience but this food ruined it all. My fish was undercooked and mushy. Fish is supposed to be flakey. What happened? I don't think I want to give you a second chance as I know the business and this was not what anybody would want or eat. I brought this to the attention of my waiter and she took one of the burgers back to the cook, not chef. She was unimpressed with the food too.I would not reccommend this eatery to anyone, I'm sorry to have to report this to you, but you might better fix it or loose your investment and reputation in the area.
