By the time my daughter came to the checkout, the situation had already escalated, and we left without buying anything. The cashier handled this poorly, and the response was rigid, dismissive, and unprofessional, and the manager did nothing to resolve the situation. This created an uncomfortable and embarrassing situation for my family, which should never happen during a simple purchase. What's most concerning is how inconsistent and unclear this policy is. If a family of adults come in together, are they required to check out together? Customers should not be forced to guess the rules at checkout or denied service based on arbitrary judgment.
