The salon is on the smaller side but very clean and inviting. Three of us got gel x full sets and one got a regular gel manicure. The experience was very soothing, and the technicians were gentle and checked in frequently to ensure the length and colors were to our liking. Meeting Nageen for the first time was like meeting a new friend - very personable and friendly. Her concept of "Me Time" really appealed to me and I'm glad that she opened up a place like this -- a relaxing and quiet place to get pampered. I got the gel mani and regular pedi combo. It's a nicely laid out salon, airy and clean with plenty of room to accommodate customers and was fairly quiet during my visit. I took a seat in one of their massage chairs and was offered a drink as the pedi service began. I enjoyed the experience and left thoroughly relaxed. They did a good job with my nails though some areas could use improvement (better shaping for instance). I paid around $250 for a manicure and pedicure, and while money was not the issue, I expected quality service for what I paid. I had previously told Lilly that I preferred a more senior technician since Hayden had been moved to the downtown location. When I called back today asking them to fix the issue, they gave me an appointment with Hayden, who apparently is back now. However, when I tried calling again for over an hour to change the appointment time, the staff repeatedly hung up on me (which has happened before). Eventually someone answered, I politely asked if I could change the time, and they immediately hung up and blocked my number. This level of customer service is extremely rude and unprofessional. I have also personally witnessed staff mocking customers behind their backs, and it feels like they clearly have favourite clients while treating others poorly. After being a loyal customer, I am extremely disappointed. The environment feels toxic, and the way customers are treated is unacceptable.

I had my hair cut by Kim and she did a decent job, although there wasn't much of a consultation in the beginning, she didn't even tell me her name or talked during the whole cut, which is fine cuz Im not chatty either. Kim is a frigging hair ninja, she's is sooo fast at cutting it, which made me pretty nervous cuz it felt like she was rushing to finish and was pretty rough with my hair at times (pulling and combing out the knots as if they were their enemy). She also cut it without shampooing it or even getting it wet first, which made me more anxious! The cut turned out nice except that I told her I wanted to keep it long and it is much shorter than I wanted it and didn't really get the volume or shape I asked for. I would come here again if I'm tight for cash since it's much cheaper than Revolutions but next time I will try Jenny, she seemed much more friendly and other 2 people came in with appointments to see her. Usually, the hairstylist would have wrapped my hair before they told me to sit up. She made me look bad and uncomfortable. I asked for layers and she did not give me a lot of layers. She said she would give me a little bit. That was not professional. The she tried to make my ends curly using the hair dryer and I told her I wanted my ends straight. She did not understand layers; she kept asking if I wanted thinner hair. I said no. She asked me twice if I wanted bands and I say no. Moreover, while she was cutting my hair, she let the hair fall onto my hands which could have been avoided. She did not put on the cape for me - she needed me to hand the other side to her instead of putting it on me. The service was terrible and she was indeed incompetent. Furthermore, when I said the haircut looks good, she kept on cutting. I said, "It's good' several times and she was still cutting my hair. Then she asked my sis, who was sitting beside me, "Is she okay?" I did not know why she said that; she was embarrassing me. When she finally stopped cutting, she looked at me with an anxious look and told me I could go back if there is any problem. She made me look bad with her exaggeration. In addition, she left a lot of the hair on my face after she finished cutting my hair - she only handed me the tissue box when I looked at the mirror and tried to wipe the hair off my face. Moreover, she and another hairstylist were chatting and looked at my sister with a weird gaze. That made her uncomfortable. When I tried to pay, the receptionist showed me a higher price after he knew that I was paying in cash. Why would they charge less if you are paying with credit/debit card? That was not right and he did not explain. Then the receptionist said, "No change? Tips?" after I tipped them. He was insulting. I think they knew that they should not treat customers this way and this was why they charged me $3 less. I was surprised when I saw the price but now I understand.
