Though I added paraffin ($15) to my hands, they did push both the manicure-pedicure in shellac because they stated the regular polish would not dry in time ($25). I also did not know there was a 5% tax on services in Canada. However, they do give you 5% discount for writing a review - though instead of $129.68, they charged me $131.78 because they only took off the 5% on the $90 shellac manicure-pedicure. Even after I tipped both of the technicians $20 each in US currency, I was disappointed that they were dishonest when I pointed out to them about the discount not having been applied to the total amount and they said it was the tax. I had Trish and Miley; both were excellent with the trim, shape, and polish. The hand and foot/leg massages were just okay. I have the manicure at the same time as the pedicure, but it was quite uncomfortable to have to sit on an angle for both my hands to be done to one side of the chair. Because the receptionist was chatting away with both of them, they were not paying attention and not looking at their sanding and buffing of my nails at the beginning, which was also uncomfortable to my hand and feet cuticles. Last, the foot exfoliation was also not thorough because it was done during the time that the conversation was happening. All in all, I would still recommend!

I walked in at 10:20am and was out of there by 11:30am. He even added abit of length to my thumb as my nail had just broken off prior to getting there. I'm super happy with the quality and the precision of the French tip. It was definitely on the pricier side with French being an extra $15 and chrome an additional $15 on top of a regular gel mani. Total before tip was around $70. I didn't mind spending extra to ensure my nails looked great for my wedding weekend!

I was running late for my appointment and called ahead to let them know. The owner answered and spoke to me in an aggressive, threatening tone, warning that if this happens next time , I would not be allowed to return. Since I have rescheduled or canceled appointments or been late in the past, I understand their policy and accept that if this were to happen again, there may be consequences. I apologized and assured her it would not happen again. When I arrived, the situation escalated unnecessarily. The owner immediately began yelling at me in front of other customers, continuing the lecture that had already taken place over the phone. I apologized multiple times and calmly explained that I did not want negative energy during my appointment. Despite this, she continued yelling. I finally told her that her behavior was inappropriate, that I was still a paying customer, and that the situation was affecting me emotionally. Her response was to say, "I don't care about you--fuck you." This was said directly to me and is recorded on my phone. I repeatedly asked her to apologize for swearing at me. She refused, stating it was her salon and that if I wanted my nails done, I should sit down. At that point, her behavior felt intimidating and close to becoming physical. I asked her to back away, and she refused. During this confrontation, the nail technician who was supposed to work on me became visibly unwell and had to be helped, which was deeply concerning. No one--customers or staff--should be subjected to this kind of hostile environment. This behaviour was rude, unprofessional, and unacceptable. The staff deserve a safer, more respectful workplace, and customers deserve basic decency. I am extremely disappointed, as I had enjoyed coming here until this incident. I left shaken and distressed and will not be returning. To be clear: I acknowledge that I have rescheduled or canceled appointments in the past, and I fully accept whatever consequences the salon chooses to enforce if this were to happen again. However, no policy justifies being verbally abused or treated with hostility. The owner's behaviour suggests serious anger management issues and an inability to control her emotions in a professional setting.
