We recently purchased two e-bikes (Mokwheel Basalt ST 2), and the entire process was outstanding from start to finish. The customer service was truly some of the best we've ever experienced, and Toby was incredible. She was extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and genuinely passionate about helping us find the right bikes. She took the time to answer every question we had and clearly knew everything there is to know about e-bikes. What really stood out was how much she cared about making sure we got the perfect bikes for our needs. She encouraged us to take a test ride and walked us through all the features so we felt completely confident in our decision. There was never any pressure -- just great guidance and expertise. We ended up with two Mokwheel Basalt ST 2 bikes, and we absolutely love them. The whole experience was fun, informative, and seamless. Honestly, the experience was so great that every time we go back to Pismo Beach, we'll want to stop in and say hi. That's the kind of impression they made on us. We had such an amazing time on our e-bike tour with Josh! ‍ From Pismo Beach to Avila Beach, the whole ride was beautiful and full of fun stops. We cruised along the Bob Jones Trail, took in the views at Dinosaur Park, and even stopped for food and drinks at Mulligan's Pub and A great spot called the Secret Garden along the Bob Jones Trail. Josh was a fantastic guide--super personable, easygoing, and always making sure we were comfortable and enjoying ourselves. The tour had the perfect mix of sightseeing, adventure, and relaxation. SO happy we found this bike shop! Yesterday when my husband and I got into town We were walking around downtown Pizmo headed to a different bike shop when my husband said to check this one out. First we were greeted by a sweet puppy named roudy who helped lead us into the bike shop. We were greeted and welcomed by a kind, blonde haired woman (unfortunately didn't catch her name) who was so kind and helpful while getting us set up on our electric bikes. Their prices were great per hour and she gave us amazing directions when we told her that we were visiting the area and wanted to go on a ride with a pretty view. The direction she gave us were very specific and I am so happy that we came into this shop. She explained to us that the route that she gave us might take a little bit longer than an hour, and she was OK with that! It was really nice to have a little more than an hour and not feel like we were on a timer while riding around Pismo and Avila Beach. The bikes were very clean and she explained thoroughly on how to use them. She even offered if we got stuck somewhere or the bikes broke down that she herself or someone else would come help us. These guys are awesome. I stopped in to ask a question about my bike. ... simple issue with the rear brake. He told me how to fix it and said, if I wanted to bring it by, he'd do it for me. Amazing spot to rent out electric bikes! Highly recommend doing a 2 hour ride because you get paper with bike trial recommendations and it's all within the 2 hour ride. We scheduled for a Sunday ride but rain was in the forecast. The shop was very communicative with our group, offering flexible options to enjoy the ride but avoid the rain. They even refunded one of our parties' fee because of the reschedule and she couldn't make it. Our guides were Max and Cole and they were great and we all really enjoyed the ride. We came down to Pismo Beach for the first time we were walking around and stumbled upon Pedego Electric Bike rental. we were greeted right away and was asked if we would like to take our dogs for a bike ride. They explained everything to us about the electric bikes since we have never ridden befor. it was very easy and FUN! Our dogs loved the ride and had a great time. This was my first e bike tour I've ever done and it was awesome! Pismo is a place I don't know very well and thought that e biking would be a good way to find some new spots...and let me tell you...I did. A great place to rent or buy a Pedego Ebike. We walked to the pier to have lunch and on the way back to Pismo Coast Village, stopped in to just look at a new bike for my wife. As the E-bike she has isn't comfortable for her and we had talked about one day replacing it. Toby, one of the owners began showing us various bikes to consider. Toby knows her products and is most helpful and generous with her time with no pressure to buy. She answered every question, some more than once. Two hours later, my wife left with a new Pedego E-bike. One that fits her and is comfortable to ride. And there's John! we got old trash Walmart bikes that they just got a electric kit and put it on a 1930s bike and the brand was unknown the people after us got the newest nicest bikes and we got the old ones and there where a bunch of the new ones and we got treated differently because of our age read more

Came in on day one of a week long trip. Our trike had a horrifically bent derailleur. We were worried it was going to be down for the entirety of the trip. The Gent running the shop gave us a great price on the parts and install. He had us up and running in less than an hour. I can't speak highly enough of how well we were treated. I am a long-time Pedego owner and currently own 2 different models of Pedego bikes. I recently got a flat in my Element and had it repaired by another Pedego shop in another city, and they did a poor job -- they didn't connect the motor wire properly and reinstalled the rear brakes improperly, causing the bike to not roll freely. I rode the bike 17 miles in Pismo and because the shop was so close thought I'd see if they might be able to take a quick look at it. Warren, their technician and one of the owners, quickly identified the problem, fixed it, and got me riding again. This is the kind of service Pedego is known for, and I'm grateful for the shop owners who take pride in the bikes and their customer service. Thanks, Pedego Pismo! Such a fun experience, followed the recommendations from the shop owner and just a great exhilarating ride. My BF truly enjoyed his bday ride. Highly recommend. They give you everything you need, bikes even have a phone holder. I also recommend stopping at the steamed bean for an espresso shot in the way bike, about 12 mins before the shop. Took me a little longer to get back to writing this review than I would have liked, but after our wonderful vacation, including renting these electric bikes, I was busy at work ... we were on a family vacation to San Luis Obispo, and wanted to get out and about along the coast, and decided that renting e-bikes with a guide, would be a relaxing way to see far more sights than if by ourselves ... we were matched up with Joshua as our guide, and we felt as if we had won the lottery. He was just such a pleasant and informitive young man. He knew the area very well, and took the time to answer any and all questions. and all with a huge smile. We arrived about 15 minutes prior to our scheduled time, signed in, and Joshua went over the workings of our bikes in great detail, and we were off ... couldn't think of a greater way to see Pismo Beach, than having a tour guide like Joshua show us the way. If you are in the area, do yourself a favor and rent e-bikes at Pedego Electric Bikes Pismo, and ask for Joshua as your tour guide !!!!! read more
