Walked in the door yesterday morning and totally loved the vibe in this cafe! We were there early so it wasn't busy- perfect for a quiet quick breakfast. The baristas were super nice and friendly. I loved my pistachio latte (which I had to order)! This is a must stop for an amazing latte and a great girly cozy vibe.

Came here 9:40am on a Sunday. We were assigned a seat and told to come to the counter when we were ready to place our order; as we did. An hour later they came with our "hot" lattes served luke warm and one was missing. Wish it was served hot, like a latte oughta be. They said it would be 20min for another chocolate bliss to be made. Instead of being next, they put us on the bottom of the queue. Over an hour later the drink never came out. Why wouldn't they make it a priority to fix an error? We finished eating. We skipped the dessert because I was so upset to have to wait so long for an error to be corrected. Poor kid watched every one have a drink without having one. Not cool. It was now 11:40, when I asked to speak to the manager to complain about my daughter's drink not coming out, he told me wait because he's busy. I object that I've already been waiting over an hour, he says "no you haven't" My 15yr old then tells me "Mom it's ok, let's just go" she was only upset we were waiting for nothing thinking it'll come. No way to treat customers! 1star because this ruined my Mother's Day, and there's no way I can get the day back! I definitely rather not come here again. What a shame because I really wanted to try their desserts. Instead of trying to rectify things, the manager reach out to justify it arguing with me. I would never recommend this spot. A pretty place is nothing without proper service and appreciation for its customers! I barely eat fast food, I am not understanding why would he compare it to that, as if he's insinuating that's what I'm used to? You can see from my other reviews, I don't bash and rate unfairly!

I live in florida and am here for the weekend on business. I wanted to find a cute little cafe to work at. Pistachio cafe in New Haven did not disappoint. Such a chill and vibey atmosphere. I love a cafe that has couch seating, it just brings a different aesthetic, warm, cozy. It gives let's put our phones down and actually talk. Love it! The staff is also so nice and accommodating. Giving their recommendations and what customers favorites are. I got the chocolate almond bliss, amazing! And anything with a beautiful design from the barista gets me every time. Food I got the classic sandwich with a garlic aoli, so good. The hash browns though! These are the best hashbrowns I've ever had. The crispness was perfect. If I lived here, I would be here everyday. Definitely a yes for me. They also have another location as well.

I love the ambiance here! It's such a beautiful place to meet a friend for a lunch or coffee date! The dessert/pastry selection is incredible!! My pistachio latte was delicious and not too sweet like some places make. I got a falafel wrap with fries and it's a good portion.

Although this is the original cafe, I enjoyed the second location so much more on Chapel St. Walking in was not as bright. It was darker, and unfortunately so was the service. There were 2 gentlemen behind the counter that just took our order, but had no other conversation or connection. The ambiance was very pretty just like the other cafe but definitely smaller. I had the pistachio latte and it was delicious. So was the pistachio cake! But the rose and orange water lattes were not my cup of tea. They tasted very florally, like you were drinking actual flowers or potpourri. I like how they serve the same items but if I were to go back, I'd probably go to location number 2.

Pistachio latte. That's my, "I'm surprisingly satisfied" look!

I wanted to Google a local breakfast/lunch spot and this place had great reviews. My first time here and I must say that I was very impressed! The food is superb, the staff was friendly and the atmosphere was appealing, welcoming and professional. A very unique blend of ingredients that piques my interest! I will definitely return to try different menu items. Thumbs up!!

The barista is talented and crafts a delicious Latte. Worth the detour off Route 15.

Glad we made a stop at Pistacio for a latte. The barista went above and beyond crafting a delicious coffee!!

Top 3 cafes I have EVER visited. 6 out of 5 stars!

Ok, ladies & gentlemen...here, we have one of the nicest cafes I have ever visited. It is perfectly situated at a corner location, has large windows, and the entire site has plenty of seating. The staff member, Mohamed, was extraordinary. He told us the history of this cafe (5 years of age), explained the drink menu, created great beverages, and made our stay memorable. The decor is ornate, eye catching, aesthetically pleasing, charming, and I enjoyed how every area had a different theme and feel. My drink.....wow!.....was called, Spicy Mexican Mocha. This speciality drink was AMAZING. Every sip caused a welcoming warm/spicy feeling all the way down to your chest. A perfect drink for the winter. The pastry was just as good as the drink and thoroughly enjoyed. I had the Cappuccino Cake and is highly recommended. If you prefer to have food or a meal, Pistachio Cafe can oblige. They have a full menu ranging from Paninis, Omelets, Salads, to even a Syrian Typical Home Breakfast for 3. I cannot wait to see other Yelpers review this cafe and I'm glad, that I took a quick detour from I-95, in order to witness it for myself. Ohhhh, I almost forgot.... if you don't want to veer too far off from I-95, Pistachio Cafe has a second location that you could enjoy.

Look at this pistachio latte! It is like artwork, but delicious as well. Great ambience and kind staff. Will definitely be back.

What a beautiful place. The staff and ambiance is fantastic. You can tell they put a lot of love into what they do.

A wild collage of flowers, antiques tables and chairs pairs with a unique cuisine and menu! The staff are patient (so menu options) and willing to make suggestions. Offers come out in a good time. Be sure to check out the dessert case!! is a great spot for a second date, meeting a friend, or a group of friends. I have seen some people solo, studying or working. (Being headphones!) The Whalley cafe has a paid parking lot across the street, but there is some parking along the other side streets. Very walkable area with sidewalks and shade.

Last Saturday, I came to Pistachio for my favorite, a pistachio latte with simple syrup. Everything went fine for the initial visit! When I got back to my car, I dropped my latte and it spilled all over the floor of the driver's seat. I went back to Pistachio and Ty graciously made me another one. Ty's customer service really made my day, and my visit exceptional. Thank you!!

I was excited to try this Pistachio Cafe location, having already been to their other location and enjoying it. This location was also lovely - cute decor, uplifting, positive vibes, and a big menu with many options to choose from. The lattes are amazingggg. We enjoyed our meals as well. Can't go wrong! Definitely worth a visit, or 10...

This is a cute, cozy cafe with a delightful interior. I love the pistachio name and theme. The extra hot pistachio latte made with pistachio milk was creamy and delicious. The dried rose petals and crushed pistachio on top was the perfect touch. Highly recommend this latte. I would not recommend the pastries. The carrot cake and chocolate croissant were extremely dry, disappointing and way overpriced. I'm not sure if they were old or if they are made this way. Service is good.

We were sitting on the backend portion of identical tables and chairs. Our server was pleasant and friendly and our party of three were about to be very happy with what was in store for us? I was told that we had to arrive early because this popular little neighborhood nook, fills up at a moment's notice? We arrived at 8:00am and it was jamming. The biggest setback for us was the service. Our server wasn't very attentive and spent the entire time conversing with every other couple (and we were the only gay people there so it felt discriminatory dare we say?). He didn't check on us, didn't offer us drinks and didn't talk to us at all, but everyone else was getting a laugh and a chuckle out of him. There were also very very minor microaggressions we noticed but they were so micro, we didn't really feel as though we could say anything. The place is very cute though, it has a nice cutesie vibe. If you're searching for that authentic, old-school Jewish deli experience without trekking into…read moreNYC, Katz's Deli Restaurant in Woodbridge is a masterclass in tradition. Here is why this spot remains a cornerstone of the Connecticut food scene. The Star of the Show: The "Elaine" Cut The absolute centerpiece of the menu is the Elaine cut of corned beef. For those who find standard deli meats a bit too lean or dry, the Elaine cut is a revelation. It is: * Perfectly Marbled: Expertly trimmed to retain just enough fat to keep the meat incredibly moist. * Melt-in-Your-Mouth: Steamed to a point where it practically falls apart under your fork. * Generously Portioned: They don't skimp; the sandwich arrives piled high, a true monument to deli meat. The Foundation: Perfect Rye A sandwich is only as good as its vessel, and Katz's seeded rye is the gold standard. It features a crust that offers a slight "snap" when you bite into it, while the center remains soft enough to soak up the juices from the corned beef without disintegrating. The caraway seeds add that essential, earthy punch that cuts through the richness of the meat. The "Accessories" (The Full Reuben Experience) While the meat stands alone, the accompaniments elevate it to a gourmet level. To get the full experience, you have to lean into the "accessories": * Swiss Cheese: Thick, nutty, and perfectly melted. * Russian Dressing: Tangy and creamy with just the right amount of zest. * Coleslaw: Crisp, fresh, and not overly drowned in mayo--it provides a vital crunch. * The Pickles: No visit is complete without their signature pickles, which provide the sharp acidity needed to cleanse the palate. In an era of disappearing hospitality, the staff at Katz's are refreshingly helpful and efficient. Whether you're a regular or a first-timer, there's a sense of "family" energy that makes the dining room feel warm. While deli prices have risen everywhere, Katz's offers genuine quality for what you pay. You aren't just paying for a sandwich; you're paying for premium cuts, house-made sides, and a portion size that usually guarantees a delicious lunch for the following day
