Gyro Bowl with side of hummus.
    Bill C.

We passed by Pita Hut a week or so back and finally got around to trying it. We called in our order and were told that it would be 5-10 minutes. We got there maybe 7-8 minutes later and our food was ready to go so away we went. Everyone was super friendly, which always gives me good vibes right from the start. We got home and popped open our meals and weren't disappointed in the least. The Gyro meat was super moist despite the 7-8 minute drive home. Flavors were spot on and that salad was SUPER tasty. The rice was fluffy and delicious as well. We ordered a side of hummus and while there was nothing "special" about it, it was solid hummus with that classic flavor and good olive oil. I can appreciate that when it comes to my hummus. Simple and very good. The only knock I would say, and it is very minor. Because the pita wedges are put into the container with everything else that is piping hot, they dried out pretty quick. I would suggest maybe packaging those separate so they stay soft and fluffy. Our pita that came with the side of hummus was done that was and it was perfect! Overall, I am super pleased and glad swung by to try it out.

    Chicken Shawarma Bowl

So glad I stopped here! I got the chicken shawarma rice bowl and it was delicious, a large portion, and good price especially considering how much food you get. Drive through was quick too. Can't wait to go back and try the falafel sandwich!

    Gyro Sandwich

Rolled up for a quick lunch and so glad we did! Got the $10 lunch special of gyro and fries and it was huge, fresh, and delicious. Service was friendly and quick. We actually liked you didn't have to yell your order into a speaker - much nicer talking to someone at the window. Also ordered a side of hummus and it was creamy perfection. Will definitely be back!

    Baklava!

The food is delicious! The service was amazing and the portions generous. We wish we lived closer. We'll visit again when we are in the area.

The varied menu and the price point were just right. You pick up a cafeteria tray and point to what you'd like. I opted for the 6 item veggie plate. Portions were very filling! I tried a rocket salad, pita bread, beet salad, lentil soup, hummus and chickpea salad. In other words, a feast!! The food was very good. I also opted for a Diet Pepsi and a baklava. The salads were crispy and delicious - I loved the vinaigrette dressing which was perfectly tart. I wish I'd tried the coffee with my dessert - the baklava was a bit dry. I wish they'd opened a private side room for our party. Our table felt a bit cramped and it was a challenge to scoot into the very long booth seat which was closed off where they pushed tables together. On the whole, a really nice place and I'd definitely return!

A while back I went and the vegetable combo had gone up to $20! Now it's back down to $16 so I'm back. The food is as good as ever. Homemade everything. And hot sides are also available on the veggie plate! Rice pilaf, roasted cauliflower, eggplant and several more. The cauliflower was amazing! If you get a meat they have many but the tenderloin kabab ("beef kabab"") was a huge hit at my table. Cooked to perfection on the charcoal grill. Just fabulous. They've got shwarma, gyro sandwiches and even more delicious meats and the freshest vegetables. The pita bread is fresh from the oven- a steaming hot pillow of goodness. They have several types of canned and bottled drinks including yogurt drink and San Pelligrino, a couple of iced teas, lemonade and various fountain drink choices. No alcohol here. If you have never been, go and if you've been, go back because it's definitely worth the visit. It is a great place to enjoy tasty homemade Lebanese, Mediterranean and Greek food. Oh! One final note: the staff is friendly and welcoming. I felt so comfortable and relaxed because they really make you feel at home .

Our usual move is the 4-person combo for the family, or the Iraqi-style meal that comes with that MASSIVE Iraqi bread -- seriously, the bread deserves its own table. In my opinion, Fattoush is easily one of the best Mediterranean restaurants in all of North Texas. Recently, they added pizza to the menu, and we usually get the chicken + beef shawarma combo pizza. But today... fate intervened. They didn't have our usual meats available, so I asked the server, "Can you substitute the meat with lamb kebab?" And OH. MY. GOODNESS. LAMB. KEBAB. PIZZA. This may legitimately be the best thing I've eaten here in four years -- and that is saying A LOT. Add some fresh white onion and a little of their garlic sauce, and it is absolutely MAGNIFICENT. Technically, it's off-menu and there's an extra charge for the lamb, which I was more than happy to pay. Zero regrets. Fattoush, PLEASE make this a permanent menu item. Also, my name is Jay, so if you want to call it "The Jay Special," I'm completely fine with that. No royalties necessary. Until then, just ask for the lamb kebab pizza, add onion and garlic sauce, and thank me later.

We were quickly seated and our orders were taken. For our party of three, we opted for the Combo for Two family meal as well as the Maza Large. The latter was brought out first. It include the falafel, tabooli, hummus, baba ghanoush, and some pita bread. My favorite out of these was definitely the falafel. After not too long of a wait, the meal for the combo came out. The meats, lamb and chicken, were without a doubt juicy and flavorful. Went well with the rice (which I do wish came more with the order). However, the highlight of the night for me was actually the chicken lemon soup. This is my first time ever having it. My first thought was that it would be too lemon-forward. That was certainly not the case. It was still savory and subtly fragrant with lemon instead. Despite all of the food being above average to very tasty as well as the service being superb, the one thing that detracted from the night for me was the breeze every single time the door opened. The weather was particularly cold and windy that day. We weren't the closest to the door but every time someone came in or out, there was a noticeable breeze. I feel that this could have been mitigated if there was a panel that could shield customers from the breeze on these certain days. Regardless, I would still come back for some delicious mediterranean food!

Does it really matter that there's six shooters and Texas stars? No because there is enthusiastically prepared Lebanese food happening here. We arrived to lively Middle Eastern music, just short of "Lunch special" time in the afternoon and ordered from the regular menu. Take a look at my large portion of Babaganoush! Creamy. Perfect. The pitas arrived in a warmer and were typically good. We also tried their lentil soup. I had the cup, he had the bowl. Mine was a little watery actually and underwhelming. Flat. No flavor. But his had depth and texture. Not sure about how that happened. We both ordered the Iraqui Kabob Sandwich. Nicely wrapped with a tender, juicy and well seasoned kabob, I loved the wrap with Tahini sauce. My husband even ordered a second one!! They even have a little parking lot, which is always a bonus. I will start with my only minor gripe. Without asking for water, they gave us two Kirkland bottled waters. Since every table had them and we had not asked, I assumed they were complimentary. In fact, I had said I was fine with the water bottle I had brought in with me. On the bill they charged us $1 each. Again, it was only a minor gripe, which stayed minor because the food and service were outstanding. We started with the famous meat pies, but you can mix them up with cheese or spinach as well. They come four to an order, and the waitress suggested two meat and two cheese. Whoa, these were incredible and a definite must order. Next, my man and I split the triple kebob plate with chicken, beef, and kofta. I love kofta, but the chicken might have been my favorite, so tender and perfectly charred. The plate comes with two sides, and we chose salad and hummus. The kebobs also come with a few slices of tomato, pickles, some garlic sauce, and a thin flatbread. Everything was wonderful. I only wish I lived closer, but this is a spot we may return to as a destination all on its own.
