We recently tried Prince lfor takeout, and it was fantastic from start to finish. The ordering process was easy, the food was ready quickly, and everything was fresh and delicious. The staff was very friendly. The chicken shawarma sandwich was excellent, and the fries were perfectly cooked. The falafel sandwich was truly outstanding--crispy, flavorful, and one of the best we've had. We also couldn't resist the baklava, which tasted wonderfully authentic and was the perfect sweet ending to the meal. Beyond the food, we love the down-to-earth atmosphere and the fact that it's family-owned. You can tell there's a lot of pride and care put into both the food and the customer experience. Stumbled across the place before heading the Rangers game, and what a great find. As soon as you walk in, your instantly loved bombed weird ask the good smells of whatever's cooking. I knew whatever I ordered that it was going to taste great. I decided with the 2-meat combo Shawarma Plate with chicken and lamb (spicy hot). This meal brought me so much joy. We stopped here on our way back from Forthworth Stockyards. After all the walking, we were famished and felt middle eastern was the way to go and Prince was highly recommended. Located in Arlington, the restaurant is divided in 2 sections and the place has quite a casual and local vibe We, a party of 5 were immediately seated and the server aptly took our order. As we were famished, we ordered..a lot: -Mazza Plate -Falafel -Fries -Gyro Special Plate -2 Chicken Shawarma(Bank Special) plate (comes with Rice, Hummus, Tzatziki sauce and Pita) -Falafel Plate - Gyro Sandwich Dessert: -Baklava -Burma Since we love spicy, we asked for our food to be spiced up. 5-10 mins later, the food began to arrive. First impression was the portion size was huge. At the onset we knew we ordered too much. The Mazza plate was amazing with assortment of Middle-Eastern appetizers i.e. hummus, babaganoush, tabouli salad, dolmas, with kalamata olives and pita. We absolutely loved the dimas and the hummus and pita bread was fresh. The Shawarma plates were pretty decent and the chicken and gyro meats were well cooked and seasoned, however the spicy sauce they use was a bit more on the tangy side than on spicy side. Which was a let down. Falafels we crunchy and were pretty decent. The fries however were huge let down. They were too oily and the taste of overused oil was pretty evident. The best part for us were the desserts. The Baklava was great but the Burma blew us away. The roasted Cashes and angel hair with honey was truly delicious. To Foodies: This is quite a famous place for middle easter food, main reason being it was covered by The food network. Do try their Shawarma Plate , especially Gyro plate, it is pretty awesome. Also the quantity is good. However, I would recommend to stay away from fries or be careful of deep fried items. Do try the desserts, you'll fall in love. Overall, it is a good place but I have had much better. May be the standards have gone down a bit over the years. I love Prince Lebanese Grill! We got the chicken shawarma and lamb platter. First, I love how big the portions are here! I can get two more meals out of this and I love how flavorful the rice is. I cannot find another place that does rice like this. The long grain rice doesn't take like it was made out of a box. The chicken is nice and flavorful too. When I pulled up it was small looking from the outside with plenty of parking around the building. Once inside there was one area of dining and then a door leading to another place to dine. Although being out on the separate patio seemed to create longer wait times due to being out of sight and out of mind. I was at the restaurant longer than I had intended to be. Went here for a dinner and as a Mediterranean guy, I can tell that food was legit gooooood! We started with Dolmas App and it was refreshing! My wife had Prince Lebanese Special and WOW it was fresh from the grill! And you can taste the great quality of food! I got Meat Combo Shawarma Plate chicken and beef medium spicy!! We have been longtime fans of this place but the last visit will be our last. We had a bad experience with delivery order so this time decided to go in and see if it was just because it was delivery. Nope, wasn't deliveries fault they have just really gone downhill and I'm not sure why. We always order the mazza plate and have always had good pitas but our delivery order they "forgot" the pitas, and I'm like how do you eat hummus and baba ghanoush without pitas and in the restaurant they were old, stale and hard. It was strange because they used to be so good and fresh. Hubs ordered the gyro plate and I ordered the chicken shish tawook. The rice both times was dry and had no flavor. The chicken was so overcooked that it hurt to chew it and the gyro meat was so dried up it was curled and crispy like it had been fried after it was cut. It was the worst gyro meat he had ever seen. So unfortunately after years of making great reviews for this restaurant we have decided to look for our Mediterranean food elsewhere. I do hope they get it together again. Come here every week. The soup is delicious!!!! I normally get the Gyro sandwich. This week I came in and accidentally ordered the Gyro plate. When the waitress asked what side I wanted I told her it didn't come with a side. She proceeded forward either way. When she brought it out it was the Gyro plate not the sandwich. I told her that wasn't the one I normally order she just said oh sorry about that. Don't ever order the plate. It is twice as much as the sandwich with the same amount of meat. Overall I will be back. But just know the customer service for corrections isn't the best. So make sure you're careful what you order. Recently visited Prince Lebanese after almost 10 years. We were extremely disappointed with the ambience including the general cleanliness of the eatery. Nothing has been done to upkeep the location.....the place looks run down and the first thing you notice on entry are the dirty air vents, dusty pictures hanging on the wall and the broken rickety fan in the main eating area. We ordered a couple of shawarmas, a plate of hummus and some falafel for appetizers. While the falafel was good, the hummus was bland and uninspiring. As far as the beef and chicken shawarmas, we found them to be tasteless and runny to where the breads were soaked and falling apart. We did not finish either of the shawarmas. Service was average. So I tried this establishment via take out and I was really disappointed. Who ever packed the bags to go did so where the foods with gravy or drippings were on top and it leaked all over the other orders. This was delivered, I get delivery may have a part in this but really, they could have packed with more consideration. I ordered the Hummus Mah Lahme "Hummus Bowl", and it was disgusting... Had the chicken and Garlic Hummus, and when I first opened this dish, there was an overwhelming smell of Cinnamon... Which was off putting, and so I did not eat the chicken. So I tried to just have the Hummus and pita. Unfortunately the Hummus was bland, seems they forgot the garlic. Next was the Fried Cauliflower, soggy because it was on the bottom of the bag where the "cinnamon" chicken was placed. I don't recommend this appetizer. The yellow curry sauce that comes with it was over powering. Seems like something of a curry spice jar was dropped into the mix. Don't get me wrong , I love spice and curry, but this terrible. I don't recommend this restaurant, it was a bad experience just having the food, less the incident of packing.
