Was dying for some freshly made pita so naturally figured this would be the place for it, but alas, they get theirs from a local source so I was disappointed. I thought it would be the equivalent of those places that make fresh tortillas esp. since "pita" is right there in their name. I'm not saying the pita wasn't good, as it was better than anything in the supermarket and made better yet by warming it on the grill for subtle smokiness, but nothing beats fresh. I went during Happy Hour so I got a reduced rate for my baba ganoush, and I just ordered the falafel pita wrap which was falafel was freshly fried up with a creamy interior and crispy and non greasy crust. My friend got the tabouli, hummus, and chicken with pita pieces and enjoyed all of it. For dessert we shared the unique Dubai chocolate filled with pistachio and bits of kataifi in it for added crunch. Absolutely heavenly. The server was very helpful in explaining ingredients to us and patient in answering our many questions. The atmosphere was pleasantly modern and comfortable, and we were impressed with the lovely art by local artists that were up for purchase. How great is that?! I need to stop coming here. The service is consistently terrible. We went tonight for dinner after seeing the 3 tacos and drink for $9.99 deal and free kids meal. Great deals. We came in at 5:35 and there were only 4 other tables of people who all had their food already. I saw one waitress, one bartender, one I'm assuming manager and then a couple people in the kitchen. Waitress came over to our table at 5:50 so we put a tapas order in for the hummus trio before 6pm when it ended. It's weird that the trio only comes with three triangles of pita. Like I'm not going to put that whole pile of hummus on a little triangle. We ordered 2 pitas and she said it was only $1 for them but it was $1.29 each. I also ordered my daughter's kids meal at this time thankfully. The waitress came back at 6:15 and said our meals would be out shortly.....I was like we haven't even ordered our entrees and she was like oh. We put our orders in and the food came out 6:35. We also weren't given silverware because the guy said they didn't have any rolled... Looking back at my pictures from the last time we went, the portion of the Mac and cheese was noticeably smaller. I get that it's free but let's be consistent in portions. The food was fine, but it wasn't hot. Like it was sitting in the window for a while. When our bill came, the girl didn't take the kids meal off so I had to ask her to fix it. I love Pita Jungle food but I'm really over the terrible service. I'm surprised this location is open still. We saw a family walk out because they were waiting so long and saw a couple waiting to be seated for over 15 minutes. I'll be honest... I didn't expect to be this impressed by a franchise, but Pita Jungle absolutely surprised me in the best way. First off, the Park West location is EVERYTHING. I love this shopping center--fully outdoor, super cute, and just a whole vibe before you even step inside. It really elevates the entire experience. Inside? Huge, airy, and thoughtfully designed. The decor and branding feel clean and modern, and I loved that there are multiple seating options--open dining areas, quieter corners, and even semi-private spots if you want a more low-key convo. The menu is extensive in the best way. Not overwhelming, just packed with options. Everything leans fresh, light, and "feel-good," and I really appreciated how clearly everything is labeled (vegan vs vegetarian--they get it ). Tons of dishes can be modified too, which makes it super group-friendly. I went with the cauliflower tacos (Tuesday special)--$9.99 for three fully loaded tacos + a massive hibiscus berry iced tea (SO refreshing). And these tacos are not small--they're packed and super satisfying. Service was also a standout--friendly, attentive, and thoughtful. Our server even hooked us up with an extra tea to-go We asked for charred jalapeños on the side since the food isn't super spicy by default, and that was the perfect little upgrade. Is this the best taco I've ever had? No--LA food trucks still hold that crown. But for the area, this is a solid, reliable go-to that I can easily see becoming part of my regular rotation. First time at this location, which our home location since moving from Sunnyslope to Sun City. Great spot, definitely feels like the other Pita Jungles we have been too. Cute inside, love the decor. Huge open bar area and lots of tables and some booths around. Very roomy location. Sara took care of us tonight and we noticed they had something new that we hadn't tried before. For Taco Tuesday they have 4 different tacos you can choose from and you can even mix and match. We have always loved their Wood Fired Cauliflower appetizer and they had that as a taco option. So the special is 3 tacos and an Iced Tea for $9.99. So we ordered Two specials and a side of Garlic, Cilantro fries! OMG!!! Best tacos we have had out in a very, very long time. The experience we had going into the restaurant didn't sit well with me. First off the gal didn't seem like she wanted to let us in right at 11 o'clock then we were told we have to sit in this takeout section to the right. Part of being in a restaurant is the setting. I'm not in timeout. I did not want to sit in that area. Went to the restroom. Floor was clean, but everything else was nasty. My sister and I came here for dinner on a Saturday evening and there was plenty of seating available. Our waitress went above and beyond help with my food allergies, including garlic and dairy. She went and checked a couple of options that I was interested in having for dinner, to ensure that my allergies were accommodated. But it's a solid happy hour. Everyday 3-5pm they have tapas (appetizers) happy hour, and drinks get an extra hour (3-6pm). The food was excellent and the portions were generous considering happy hour pricing. The service was quick when we went in a Wednesday afternoon. This location for Pita Jungle was just awful to us. The organization of the place was insane. Food left more than alot to be desired. I think our waitress, there was others that came by the table at times, was nice enough. Everyone was slow, not caring how long anything took, over 20 minutes to get our initial drinks and even longer to get the water we asked for. My gazpacho soup, which was their special was spiced hot to the point where I could not eat it. Gazpacho soup authentic Spanish recipes emphasize fresh, cooling vegetable flavors, NOT hot spicy ones. The bottomless salad bowl was almost 1000% cabbage. The chicken was good, but not super fresh. My daughters boyfriend had a salad that had rice on it, and my husband had a bowl of rice on the side Both were BARELY, if at all cooked. Crunchy to the point of distaste. A LOT of food was left uneaten on our table. The humus was good as always, glad that is premade someplace and supplied to each Pita Jungle. Sad.... Great food and but service that leaves something to be desired. We have been going to Pita Jungle throughout the valley for years. The vibe was off and icky at this one. We had relatives whom visit their second home and are just down the road. We had our 16-month-old grandson with us and we had to ask for a menu for him when we were about to order. The place didn't seem too busy. I am not sure if the young lady that was serving our food was new but we had our plates sit at our table for almost 50 minutes after we finished eating. There was a haggard older blonde lady that cleaned around and didn't clear our dishes. That was odd as everyone else that we observed finishing their meal had theirs cleared. Was our server supposed to clear them off or was sour face supposed to. We didn't feel welcome, food was delicious, won't be coming to this location. I like Pita Jungle for their fresh ingredients but their menu is so overwhelming- it's hard to wade through it. We ordered cauliflower tacos from a special summer menu: I did not like (at all - b/c the cauliflower wasn't roasted as promised but instead boiled and it was drenched in a sticky-sweet sauce). My friends, however, liked them. So go figure. I ordered some plain hummus and the pita that came with it was light and fluffy and just delicious! This leads me to recommend to stick with the basics here: hummus, schwarma, gyro, baba, etc., and avoid the special menu items. We also tried the lemon rice soup but they make it with brown rice which, imho, makes the soup heavy instead of light. Friendly, happy service which is always a nice change of pace. They have a great patio to enjoy outside of summer heat. I will continue to patronize but will stick with the Mediterranean basics. As another aside, I have been to events catered by Pita Jungle and the food has been terrific! Consider using them for large events b/c they really deliver! read more

This place is ridiculously good! I went yesterday and I'm already trying to see if we can get back there today. I had the California lavash sandwich and swapped out chicken for Turkey. I ordered one of my regulars, 4 cheese spinach quesadilla. Soon as it came out, I knew something was off it didn't look like it does at the other pita jungle locations. I asked the server about it and she took it back to get it back in the oven, as it appeared not to be fully cooked. Pictured is what they brought back, after i asked to please add pico. Manager came by to check and I expressed that all of the items we ordered did not look or taste like Pita Jungle. Even my kids plates were a fail.
