Wowza - if you've gotta craving for an IN n OUT burger and don't eat meat anymore , this is your place ! Sooo yummy . Loved the red curry seitan noodle dish as well , carrots added the perfect crunch . Many choices for N/A drinks. The best part is dessert Nextdoor at Nami . Both restaurants are 100%vegan.

Delicious noodle plates served with mock chicken and their unsweet iced tea. Good food, good price prices, served fresh and hot. You can't ask for any more than that.

I really love stopping here whenever I'm passing through Phoenix and if I can afford the time. This restaurant has been around for a while and I've seen a girl from one to two places. It's one of my favorite for a quick junk food bite, I'm no longer vegan fully, but I don't do dairy in certain things so this is such a wonderful option. This time around, I got the big whack, and imitation of the big Mac burger done vegan style. It's one of my favorite to indulge in and I also grabbed a dessert to go and a drink. Something that I really love is that I offer dairy free blizzard like drinks in their next-door Nami sister sweet shop. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The service is always wonderful, I love the space, and I'm always ready to go back for more.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Green is a very casual, counter ordering, lively spot right on 7th.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I pulled into the wrong parking lot because the sign outside is hard to read. I was worried there wouldn't be enough parking because initially the lot looked really small but once you turn around the corner there are plenty of spots behind the sister restaurant Nami. My friend and I grabbed some menus and sat at a table to peruse before we headed up to the counter to order. The menu is pretty extensive, and there are so many choices for a vegan! It is always nice to be able to select anything from the menu because as a pescatarian (mainly vegetarian) there are usually only a couple of items on the menu to choose from!! So it is a hard decision because everything sounds soooo good. I ended up selecting the BFF and my friend got the "My Green Tangerine". Everything comes a la carte and I guess I didn't realize that because I really wanted fries or a side salad but I had already paid so I just went with the sammy (Plus we decided to go next door to Nami for dessert so I wanted to save some room!). The chkn in the BFF was pretty thick and made it almost too difficult to eat but as I got into it it was delicious and I didn't care that my hands were messy and I had to take big bites. The "My Green Tangerine" had super yummy glazed nuggies -- the sauce was a bit sweet for my taste but a bite with the noodles, the nuggies and the broccoli was very satisfying! The only reason I gave it 4 was that my margarita (yes they have drinks!!) tasted a little off -- I think because it had bubbles in it? Something -- but I was impressed that you can get several different rims with your marg like tajine. I think I would try a different drink next time. And oh yes there will be a next time, like I said there are so many options to try.

I travel too much not to share my food finds. I tend to eat more "Vegan" options than anything else. Even so I think so many people are missing out by not giving it a try, especially when there's some amazing options. Today I found a gem. Today I am hungry, so I tried several things. Buffalo chicken 10 out of 10. A nice little kick to the sauce and the bite (chew) was spot on. Crab puffs, highly recommend. One of those dishes, if you didn't tell them, they wouldn't know. And then there's the Golden Curry- SPEECHLESS. My palate was satisfied and my belly is full. Next time you feel open minded and adventurous- Give em a try!!

Now this place knows how to do vegan burgers. My go-to is the secret menu Lil Wac -- gluten-free, a 100/10 perfectly satisfying meal, even though they switch up the GF bun sometimes. The Big Wac gives McDonald's a run for its' money too, but I'm not into the middle bun and need GF anyway. Skip the ranchero 'wind salad' and go straight for the platter -- that's where the magic is. The bbq, buffalo, and the best of the 3: honey jalapeño are amazing (sweet with just the slightest kick), the other two wing flavors were only okay for me. Nachos are good, but ask for extra cheese -- it takes them over the top to live up to the name. The Damn Dan noodles are flavorful but a lot of gluten. Friendly youthful servers and vibes. Watch their specials because there are some fingerlicking gems time to time. Everything here is so delicious especially with Nami next door. If you're reading this, stop scrolling and just go eat here already. 070125

Green New American Vegetarian is our go to vegan restaurant when we eat out! I have brought my Mom and other normies who are not about the plant based lifestyle and they always leave in shock that they consumed something delicious that did not come from an animal. The Big WAC is Green's gateway drug to get you hooked on everything they offer! Give this small business a shot. You will not leave disappointed!!!

    Nicholas J.

Amazing and delicious vegan options. Crab puffs are a must try. Big Wac was delicious!

    Chicago Cheesesteak
    Reed B.

Amazing vegan food with many options for sweet and savory comfort foods. The wings are worth a two hour drive from Tucson. They are crispy and drenched in buffalo sauce, served with a side of ranch dip. The Degobah salad is also a great side and comes covered with large, roasted Brussel sprouts and a jerk sauce for dressing. I also got to try the Big Wac and Chicago Cheesesteak, both solid choices for your main. I only wish I had enough room for a milkshake.

Employees Only! Looks like I'm going to have to get a job here & come back to post the 2nd floor. I'll be right back!

I have a lot of allergies and noticed the chicken is listed as GF. I saw a lot of people saying it is seitan but haven't been able to confirm it. Does anyone know what the base to the mock chicken is?

They have several different types of mock chicken. The mock chicken that they use in the wings is definitely gluten-free. I think the sandwich chicken probably isn't. The servers are all very well informed so if you ask when you order, they will…

Neither of us really tasted the wasabi, but agreed if was a good Caesar. The pizza was sooooo good. They really pack on the pepperoni, and the crust is phenomenal. In fact, it's the reason I like the Desmond so much--that pizza crust! I was passing the guy making pizzas, and stopped to watch him tossing the crust. We each ordered a pizza but they took almost 45 minutes to arrive, my friend had a simple pepperoni while I had the truffle. The pizzas were ok but at $21 each they weren't worth the wait. When the bill was brought to our table I asked for it to be split by person since my friend an I were paying separately but the staff member split the bill in half so I ended up having to partially pay for my friend's drinks (they ordered something while we were waiting for the pizzas). It's not a big deal but the staff member was like "ok sure" and promptly ignored my request. There was also a 3% credit card surcharge so that was kind of annoying. I left a small tip but that was being generous. I wanted to go to the pub mextdoor but my friend convinced me that we should go here instead. I won't be making a return visit.

I learned about that as there is a sign with a special offer for ASU students right outside the University Center Building. I went into the Westin Hotel and found that Jacy & Dakota's was open for lunch with only a few customers. I enjoyed some good food and good service, and I'll likely be back another time soon. When I arrived, I opted to sit on my own at a table where I could space out and read over lunch. There was only one server working, and she came over to me as soon as she noticed me there. I ordered a Jacy's Burger, which came with lettuce, tomato, onion, cheddar, and a Hawaiian bun. It also came with French fries. The fries were tasty and hot, while the burger was delicious and big, though it was messy as the lettuce kept falling out of the burger. They honored an ASU 20% discount, which was great! While I stuck with a burger this time, I would love to go back to try their Jacy & Dakota Wings or even their tacos. Jacy & Dakota's is considered to be a modern American restaurant with cuisine inspired by traditional dishes and seasonally fresh ingredients. They have both indoor and outdoor seating, and their patio is dog-friendly. They offer complimentary 2 hour valet validation and free Wi-Fi. They are open for breakfast on weekdays from 6 AM to 11 AM, brunch on weekends from 7 AM to 2 PM, and then all day on weekdays from 11 AM to 10 PM and weekends from 2 PM to 10 PM. They also have a Happy Hour menu from 4-6 PM and Late Night menu from 10 PM to 11 PM daily. Their website (https://www.jacyanddakotas.com) has their menus, photo galleries, events, their story, and a place to make reservations. While the prices were a bit higher than I would have expected, I recognize it is in a hotel and the specials were appreciated and brought the price back down a bit. They also have many different specials. Beyond the ASU 20% discount, they also offer a 25% discount during Happy Hour (daily from 3-6 PM), Tuesday Beer & Bites specials, Sunday all-day happy hour, and more! I plan to come back again in the near future and would recommend it to others.

I waited about 12 minutes to be seated, even though no one was ahead of me, while two people who arrived after me were seated first. Once at my table, my server walked past me three times without acknowledgment; it took nearly 8 minutes to get water. When my food came out, I noticed my white toast had been swapped for some odd-looking wheat bread with no explanation. I only found out they didn't carry white toast by asking. No manager stopped by, and communication from the front-of-house staff was nearly nonexistent from start to finish. The one bright spot was that the food itself was genuinely good. Visit 2 (Next Day): A completely different experience. The restaurant was actually busier, yet the hostess was immediately attentive and got me seated without delay. My server, Josh, came right over, was personable, and proactively let me know they don't carry white toast, offering sourdough as an alternative without me having to ask. I also had the chance to chat with Erin, the banquet manager, who brought a warm and welcoming energy to the floor. That kind of manager presence was completely absent on day one and made a noticeable difference. Bottom line: The kitchen is solid, both visits confirmed that. But the guest experience here can vary wildly depending on who's working. When the team is on, this place shines. Here's hoping Visit 2 is the new standard.
