There's also live music over the lunch hour most days which is a nice treat. I might suggest they get a new high chair, as the one available didn't have a harness to secure my squirmy little one... There was a tempting selection of baked goods on offer as well, and they also had a good selection of single portion frozen meals you could take home with you. Why so important? Well, there's only one person cooking back there. ONE. If she doesn't make it, you're not eating it. It makes for consistently hearty and satisfying meals, but it does increase your wait time. Portions are HUGE (actually, the burgers border on obscene...), everything is made fresh on site, and the prices are more than affordable considering what you get! And on that note, hit up an ATM at the corner store next door since it's all cash only!

The middle sized breakfast was huge - eggs, bacon, home fries and great homemade bread. Annnd - one can substitute the potato pancakes for home fries!!!! Unfortunately it can't get a 5 star because they were seen reusing the homemade jam from the individual servings - scrape the top, smooth it out and add more to the top. As much as I encourage good economics of not throwing out tons of jam - this isn't a great practise:-( So, I leave it to your judgement - food great, space small, cash only and great prices. Then, when the window was finally openned, the person asked if my sub was a steak and cheese (it was), and then when I said I was paying with card, he held the payment terminal toward me and had the nerve to say, "the tip box is on the screen before payment." I, of course, pressed skip, because I do not feel waiting in a drive-thru for close to 30 minutes and then not being addressed at the window for a long period of time warrants a tip. THEN, when I got home and finally got to open my sub, I could not even understand what it was. There were clumps of yellow stuff that looked kind of like hotel scrambled eggs, there was only a few pieces of steak on one half of the sub, one of the sauces was missing and there was no cheese (pretty fundamental part of a steak and cheese sub). I had asked for shredded cheese and got some weird egg thing instead. It was just overall a very poorly made sub and a very awful experience. I did end up trying the sub when I got home (because I did not have any thing else to eat and it was my first meal of the day after being so busy), and it was pretty gross. But once we moved outside, it was a much better socializing experience, until a wasp started wanting to enjoy some of the delicious meals. We then moved back inside where there was less noise and ended up finishing our meal that way. Overall 10/10 I would go again just for this burger. They do offer ciders and flights at a very affordable price as well but I will save that for the next time.
