Really the only thing to get from here is fries or a side of the garlic, which is pretty good, but also very expensive for a side. The portions are small for what you pay, everything is extra and honestly, not that tasty. If I'm craving Mediterranean/Lebanese and want something that is like a Chipotle, quick and easy, I make the drive up 12 mile and Telegraph and go to Mr. Kabob Xpress. For about the same price, you can pick your proteins, pick all your toppings and you don't get nickel and dimed on eve-ry-thing. You want a mound of garlic in your bowl? No up charge. You want extra lettuce or tomatoes or tabouli? No up charge. You actually get your moneys worth. And they have better fries and garlic sauce. Heck, I would drive to Chickpea Kitchen on Mound before coming to a Pita Way. They are always delicious. Two stars simply because the staff is really nice. read more

Very unhappy with my first and only experience with this location. I ordered a Sandweech and an order of chicken tenders and fries on DoorDash last Saturday the 15th. When I received my order, I was shocked to find that the Sandweech and its wrapping seemed to have caught on fire at some point, I am to assume at the establishment itself, as the bag and outermost coverings were very much intact. Additionally, as you can see in the image, the Sandweech is completely burnt. I hate burnt food with a fiery passion. Needless to say I will not be a returning customer. read more

Had a B1G1 deal, so I decided to try this new location. Ordering we not easy add the music inside was so loud, I had to repeat things many times. We ate outside as the weather was nice, but they should pay more attention to cleaning the tables. All of them were dirty. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. I had the falafel wrap and hubby white chicken wrap. Despite adding extra hummus and garlic, the wrap was pretty flavorless. Garlic was not garlicky at all. Falafel was good, but the rest of the components were just bland. The same with the chicken wrap, it tasted very bland. I prefer Mr. Kabob over this chain as they do know how to make food taste good. read more

For the most part, this Pita Way is just like every other Pita Way. It's very clean and the employees are friendly enough. The quality and quantity of the food varies GREATLY from employee to employee. I typically order the same pita bowl, but some days it looks like I'm only getting half of the order, some days it's all rice and barely any toppings, some days everything is soggy and swimming in sauce, and some days the chicken is barely chopped up. I'm frustrated because in 3 of the last 4 of my online pickup orders, the extra 2oz of white sauce on the side - that I'm paying extra for - has been missing from my order. read more

Absolutely my favorite spot!!! I cannot rave about the service and food enough! Today I did falafel and chicken sandweeches for our office lunch and needless to say - it was a hit! Brandon (manager) has always been very kind to us when we visit, this time was no different. He was in the fire making our order with the staff and kindly gave us some extras. I went to this location for the first 100 Dearborn sandwich. Got in line and was told by customer they told us we are the last for 100. The owner or worker counted the end of the line but they told me he said we were the 100 but didn't have them hold a ticket or proof. I proceed to my car and now 4 ppl added to the line. I waited in my car and to my surprise they were allowed to get the sandwich. I think it wasn't very organized but a good thing for the community to say thank you. I knew I should have wanted but I feel if they were the last give a ticket or something to indicate it's the end. Such a waste of time. read more

Having not been to the other locations, this was my first Pita Way experience. I was here on a Saturday afternoon. Place wasn't crowded but they had some online orders going and a few diners eating in. Everything was delicious and really fresh. I got a dark meat chicken "QuesoPita" it was really good. The Fire Fries are exceptional. I'll be going back to check out some other menu items. Easy ordering, not too expensive (about $11 for a big pita roll). Great parking in back and on side. read more

I've used this location for catering twice, and both times was superb. I used their online portal to order ahead of time, and then waited 20 minutes to confirm they received the order. Both times I pulled up right at the time I wanted my catering to be ready by, and both times they were finalizing packaging as I walked in. PERFECT TIMING! Jason and his team do an awesome job living up to the pita way name. Food is always fresh, hot, and ready for me when I stop in to pick up an online order. I usually get a quesopita with white meat chicken. I also really like the fattoush salad. The dressing is simple- oil and vinegar style. It's not my all-time favorite, but sometimes I'm in the mood for exactly what it has to offer. It's a somewhat allergen friendly menu too. The staff have always done their best to accommodate. The few times I've waited for an online pickup, they have had a big catering order ahead of me. Order during non-peak times if you're in a hurry! I don't normally eat in the dining area, but it's spacious and clean. I think there's even a patio area, which is great. Pita Way is absolutely a go-to for me both during the week and on weekends! I tried Pita Way for the first time because I was traveling and the ordering system online was so easy and they delivered . I was so excited to take Detroit Middle Eastern food to Philly. I was so disappointed . The rice pilaf had a weird flavor and the chicken it came with was myeh. The garlic sauce was inedible and didn't even taste like garlic . the pickled vegetables weren't good. the fattoush was not at all fresh . the hummus was just ok . there was also a hair in my rice i was sad to represent Detroit Middle Eastern food in this way. Easily one of the dirtiest places I've ever walked into in Berkley. It was complete chaos. There were spilled sauces all over the place ingredients does flung all over and weirdly, receipts that fell in the cheese bin which they pulled out after I gave a disapproving look. Everything told me to walk out but I still stuck around when I shouldn't have and ordered a "sandweech". The service was great, I'll give them a star for that. I got explosive diarrhea afterwards because I don't think this place really pays attention to being CLEAN. Best to stay away. read more

I ordered for the first time today and I was very pleased. I ordered a Gyro and Pita Way Bowl. Even though while ordering on line, I mistakenly deleted the toppings on the Gyro, it was still tasty. The Pita Way Bowl with Rice, White Meat Chicken, Tomatoes, Onions, Black Olives, Beets. Feta Cheese, Garlic, Tahini and Pita Way White Sauce was so delicious it more than made up for my Gyro mistake.
