It felt a bit chaotic and crowded as I was navigating through the crowd. Friendly employees. Nice assortment of menu items. We tried a variety of things. I enjoyed the falafel bowl and the steak hummus. Excellent flavors and textures. My Spicy Crunchy Shawarma wrap was not really spicy or crunchy. The pita chips inside were soggy. The chicken shawarma wrap was pretty good overall but lacked some flavor. I've definitely had better shawarma wraps, but I was impressed with the generous portions and how full it was. I got a chance to check them out after having them at a special event. I ordered the TriFecto Bowl that comes with Chicken, Shrimp and Steak and I got the Chicken and Shrimp bowl for my husband. I got mines with the spicy sauce and when I tell you it was so good. Everything was so fresh and they the bowls are filled to the top. It is worth every penny and a bowl can last you for two meals. They have several different options available on their menu from salads to sandwiches and even smoothies. When you enter you can order at one of the kiosks or at the register with a person and it was quick and easy. You can eat on the inside they have a small dining area but it was clean and very comfortable. Make sure to join their club online or while in store to earn points. read more

Stop the presses!!! Look what moved into the old Panera spot in Lathrup Village! We now have a local Middle Eats! Welcome!!! Middle Eats has several locations. I heard a customer behind me say she by passes the location closer to her home to come out of her way to this one because she feels this location is the best. The service was great and my server Chris H. guided me on how to download their app to start getting rewards for my order. Thank you Chris! I ordered the Chicken Shawarma Bowl with garlic and regular dillio sauce with the pickles on the side for a lunch takeout. The portions are large and reasonably priced. My bowl was enough for two meals - lunch and dinner. I love the tag line on the bowl - Made Fresh. My food was delicious! There are indoor seating options. They have a window counter seating area and a table & chair area. The restaurant had a constant flow of customers. As I waited on my order, at one point all three kiosk and the two registers were occupied with additional customers placing their orders. By the way, the wait was not long because they had what looked like a dozen workers preparing the food. I freaking LOVE this place!! I literally eat here once a week. They are always friendly and fast and the food is always fresh and delish!! They are always super stuffed and massive! Wow! This new addition to Lathrup Village is a keeper. We have a lot of Middle Eastern choices on this side of town, and this one is getting bookmarked. I had the Steak Shwarma and Shrimp bowl. Ok, it *was* $23, but it could EASILY feed 3 people. Maybe 2 hungry teenagers, lol. The flavor was outstanding, the shrimp *just* this side of spicy, and everything just worked. Delish. We actually found this place when we googled "best French fries in my area". Truth! The fries are thicker (not potato wedges, but not shoestring), and they were CRISPY! I'm so tried of soggy fries. Had a carry-out order from here tonight. We had 4 bowls, 1 salad, and 3 sides. They forgot to include our large side of hummus, and they forgot to include the dressing for my shawarma salad. Come on people. Carry-out 101: make sure everything that was ordered is in the carry-out bag. Tried calling them a couple of times after arriving home and they never answered their phone once the AI transferred me. Very different from my initial experience with Middle Eats. The Southfield menu doesn't include Alfredo pasta, the 5 piece shrimp isn't served on a bed of lettuce it is simply given in lazy foil. Unsure why the difference but this location just seems like a lazy version of the original location let us know of the changes per location. We would order from work in large numbers and never had an issue this is terrible. Also, it seems I was overcharged for something I didn't ask for certainly I don't wish to be overcharged but I have no time to dissect the operations and charges regarding sauce pricing. Thinking you're getting Middle Eats. It looks like it when you come in but No this is Lazy Middle Eats. Letting all that enjoyed the location near Harper to keep going. Why place restaurant roulette. I got the steak and chicken bowl, there was so much food and it was good. was my first time eating here. The food was delicious. They give you more than enough when you order the bowls, I ordered the chicken and fire shrimp bowl so good. I cannot stop eating it. The service was excellent.
