Pretty good Mediterranean bowl/sandwich place. I got the Cohen bowl with rice and deck topping. The shredded pickles are a really nice touch, they spread out very well like that., sauces and other toppings are good too. I got two falafel balls for a side and they were really really good. Not like the other Pita Ways! The lady who works here is rude and will nickel and dime you for every single thing! She would not even provide enough sauce for the meal I ordered and every piece of lettuce was literally extra! Would never return!!!! read more

I love Pita Way food but what I'm frustrated with is the delivery. Out of the last 4 orders, something was missing in each one. Today, a whole sandwich was left out. I know I can get reimbursed but the point is, we wanted the food. I think the employees need to do a way better job checking order. read more

This is an update from my 1st try quite a while back. This visit was better than last. Fast friendly service. Somewhat easier ordering, except they have a digital menu that keeps quickly changing. Add pressure to order, I found ordering again the hardest part. My Detroit Falafel sandwich was "very good", the side of hummus was "good". I am not a fan of the pita chips for a few reasons 1. deep fried (unhealthy) 2. Many crumbs 3. They left a bad after taste. Overall I probably will not return- while my Detroit Falafel Sandwich was very good it was $7 and La Marsa has an excellent Falafel Sandwich for $5.82, pita bread not chips and more of a selection. read more

After days of eating and drinking nonstop on a road trip from Miami, FL to Brighton, the stomachs of my friend and I could take no more so we stopped in to Pitaway for a healthier dinner. The food was very affordable, and the portions were huge. There was only one employee working, Karl, but he was friendly, fast, and efficient. My friend got a falafel sandwich which was very tasty. I created a falafel bowl full of fresh veggies. The baba ganoush was excellent. My favorite topping was the tourshi. Be sure to load up on that! read more

Wow I'm really impressed by the falafel wrap here. The ingredients are fresh and it was grilled to perfection. It's also a really large portion for $9. I ate half the wrap for lunch and half for dinner and was full both times. The staff is also super friendly. Great for a quick cheap fairly healthy bite to eat. read more

Welcome to the Subway of Pita's! I really like this place. They have a build your own pita/bowl/salad. I order the lamb shwarma with garlic spread, hummus, cucumber, black olives, feta, onions, and tzisiki. The service is great. The only thing I can complain about is that they dont have coke products. read more

Amazing. It's like a Mediterranean Subway, but much better quality. I got a chicken shawarma bowl and added a half order (2) of falafel. Super good. Hommus was great and garlic sauce was excellent. Add all the fixings you want for no extra, and then decide on your dressing. The kafta and tawook looked super good as well, I'll be back to try them. We added a side of hommus and pita chips for a meal, which was super good. Everything was awesome, we were pleasantly surprised. Staff was friendly and quick. We came into the Brighton store today. It was busy and it appeared they were short staffed and also training new employees. Dimetri was juggling the long lines, training, cooking with speed and a positive attitude. The employees were all very kind and based on what I saw are assets to your company. By the time our food was done they had worked through the long lines, restocked items and cleaned up the stations. Great teamwork. Thanks for a wonderful lunch! read more

Really good food, but please, don't put the nuts next to the raisins. I saw so many almonds in the raisins, and I'm allergic to almonds. If I didn't see this I could have gotten really sick asking for raisins in my food, potentially hospitalized. read more

Stopped by pita way traveling in Michigan. The people were very friendly and helpful. The price was pretty average for fast food. My only issue was the food quality. This just wasn't good. I got the sandweech with gyro meat. I tossed it after tasting it. I love gyros and pitas just not this one. read more

Great! like a subway for schwarmas. Beef kafta cooked to order and really good. They do not take phone orders anymore per the sign at the counter. But they're very busy and you can just order online. read more

By far the best "Fast Mediterranean food" think Chipotle but for amazing Greek wraps, bowls, and sides. They always get me out fast, the food is excellent every time I go. What a yummy stop for a great schwarma! It was super good, the vinaigrette sauce was delicious! For an $8 meal, you get a really filling sandwich compared to going across the street for fast food. They make their own pita chips in which I would buy those in bulk, so crunchy. Definitely worth a stop for something different to eat! read more

I visited pita way the first week they opened. I was thrilled to have another option for middle eastern food in the area, I ordered lamb and chicken and was very disappointed. The chicken was extremely over cooked and dry. I will try this place again in a few months for a second chance since I went when they first opened. We didn't get bread, & a couple people in my family ordered raisin and almond rice and they didn't get that either.
