    Greek Salad
    Hannah M.

I ordered several items off of dashpass and the order I received was abysmal. The Greek salad was underdressed and the veggies didn't taste fresh. The toum and beef shawarma wrap were missing altogether The spinach pie which allegedly came with hummus and tabbouleh came with neither hummus nor tabbouleh. Everything was packaged poorly and there was juice all over inside the bag. This was maybe the worst food delivery I've had ever lol.

Impromptu dinner plans due to laziness and the experience was mediocre . Ordered Stuffed Lamb($17.95) that comes with almonds topped rice and Lentil soup with some bread. Friend ordered kapsah lamb($14.95)dish as well with a soup( Chicken lemon rice). The dishes are pretty same meat expect change of rice colors and both are equally bland. Pros: ------ Free parking Quick service Cons: ------- Food Not going again .

It was lunchtime on a weekend, and that could only mean one thing - time to try out a new restaurant! A friend had suggested Pita Pita, and I was game to go there as well. Located conveniently along the Washtenaw Avenue corridor, Pita Pita has a generously-sized parking lot. We had the pick of the parking spots when we arrived, as it was at the beginning of the lunch hour. Upon walking in, we were promptly greeted and shown to our seats. As I perused the menu, it was hard to pick just one thing for lunch that day. I had to remind myself that I can always come back and try something new, and I went with the Arayes. After a short wait, our food was delivered, and I dove in. While I may want to try something new next time, I would also repeat the Arayes - it hit the spot with delicious flavors, a toasted pita that was just the right texture, and a filling portion size that allowed me to take some home for a snack later. I dipped the spiced beef pita into the side of hummus with each bite for an extra zing of flavor. If you're looking to mix up your lunch repertoire, Pita Pita offers just the ticket with some unique and tasty options close to home!

I don't know what was happening in my life years ago when I reviewed this place last, but I definitely have a strong, differing opinion now. Pita Pita is great. Sure, they don't have the baked pita like Palm Palace. That is the only thing docking them, everything else is great. The food is wonderful and the menu is full of variety. They offer vegetarian and vegan options that their area competitors don't. The prices are excellent and the portions generous. We've been visiting regularly for carryout since COVID, and the experience has been consistently good. The restaurant itself isn't fancy as much as casual - diner style, you might say. Personally I like the atmosphere. I've been eating here for over a decade and don't plan on stopping anytime soon.

We will *NOT* be returning to this restaurant..Service was ok. They got our orders done quickly. Sandwich was so-so. Meat was dry, not much flavor. I've had better Middle Eastern food elsewhere. Ended up getting sick to my stomach & diarrhea, after eating here. My friend who ate with us here said she got a stomach ache. Atmosphere is also so-so. There's a large painting showing what seems to be the Al Aqsa Mosque & Dome of the Rock, which are built on top of the Jewish Temple Mount in Jerusalem; where the Western Wall is also located. We thought it was interesting they decided to paint a church & a mosque, but doesn't show the thousands years old Jewish site the mosque is built on top of, nor include any historical Jewish site in the land, in general... Painting gives the message of "No Jews here".

Really tasty food and value for money portion sizes (a rare combo). This place is really famous but the service is a little slow probably because of a lot of order! Highly recommended

Tried this place for the first time the other day when I ordered it for lunch via DoorDash. Tried…read moreto mix it up and ordered the Kafta combo meal (typically a chicken shawarma gal). The portion was enormous. I chose half rice/half veggies as my side and the chicken lemon soup as a starter. It also came with three small fluffy (and delicious) pieces of pita bread along with a small side of incredible garlic sauce. My takeaways - the kafta was yummy but a tad dry. More dry the next day when I reheated the leftovers. It probably would have been incredible eaten fresh in the restaurant. The rice was good and I liked the texture. The veggies were crisp but slightly too charred for my liking. I was surprised the soup didn't have rice, but the flavors were on point and I really enjoyed it. As previously mentioned, the pita and garlic sauce were superb. I easily could have gotten three meals out of this one entree- an incredible value. I'll definitely try it again!

This place has been on my list of places to check out. Had an errand in the area today around…read morelunchtime so this was a logical stop. I'd planned to eat in, but that doesn' t seem to be what they're set up for these days. There are some tables along the walls, but no one was sitting at them and there were no placemats, silverware etc. set down. The center of the restaurant was wide open and empty, and the whole place had this air of bereftness. I'd swear I'd walked back into late 2020. There were some take-out orders on the counter, and guess those represent the bulk of their business now. The person at the counter seemed surprised when I said I was there to order, not pick up, and confused by taking my order in person. What I ordered was a greek salad w/ chicken. That would be a few minutes, she said, since she would have to go into the kitchen and cook the chicken. Must have been the only one working. I'd expected to to wait a bit, so I sat down at one of the tables along the wall, but had already decided I was going to take the salad to go. The atmosphere was kind of depressing, and I didn't like the picture of me sitting alone in the empty restaurant under the gaze of the lone employee. I'd rather eat alone in my car. Plus, there was an unpleasant rancid smell hanging about. Once I'd parked in a quiet, shady spot and opened the clamshell, my first look at the salad wasn't encouraging. Lettuce seemed tough and a bit dry, lot of outer leaves. Only a light sprinkling of feta, and no pepperoncini. The kalamatas were pale and very hard--it took some pushing to get a fork into one. When I ate one it had little flavor. I didn't eat any more. Two cups of creamy-style greek dressing were tucked into the greens, and these tasted more oily than tangy. And I should menton, I paid $20 for this delightful entree. I get greek salads fairly regularly, and have had them at many diners and middle eastern restaurants, and I can say this was the second worst one I have ever had. The only saving grace to it was the chicken. A heaping portion of it, very tender and lightly seasoned. The chicken is the only reason this place gets two stars instead of one. If the hummus and tabouli here are decent, a few slices of the chicken with those would make a pretty good meal. But in spite of the glowing yelps others have given, I am not at all inclined to return and confirm that.

Plenty of parking as it's right next to Target!…read more They have a cozy atmosphere and cool art all over the wall. The employee was nice. Unfortunately, they didn't provide a cup of water (I'm too cheap to buy water). The food was good! We ordered Falafel salad and rice and Chicken Shawarma bowl. Both were delicious! My husband pointed out that the garlic sauce on the chicken shawarma looked a little...like something else. But it was garlic sauce (yet it looks different in other people's pictures). Anywho, they give you big portions for affordable prices ($10)!! And it's tasty!

I was in the target shopping plaza on Carpenter Road when a powerful paying of hunger overtook me…read more I left left and right to see what is available to eat. I had seen this shot before, but had never been in. So I ventured in to the Brothers St., Food. It features Halal gyros and a few other Mediterranean options. I went up and ordered from the friendly man behind the counter . Although I was very hungry, I really only wanted something quick and small so I ordered the traditional Gyro without fries. I sat down and waited for my order, which was done in under five minutes. I took it home to eat and was very surprised at the generous size of the sandwich. The meat was flavorful. The tzatziki dressing was just the right amount. It wasn't dripping out of the bottom yet there was plenty of it. There was room to sat down and eight in as there are booths and a couple of small tables, but like I said, I was in a hurry. The bread was soft and overall, it was a very delightful sandwich . I would go back again and try other items. You should too!
