Super friendly staff who was very patient with me. I had absolutely no clue what I was going in there to order. A tik tok review sent me here, so I needed to give it a try. I ordered 2 gyro sandweech (spelt that way on purpose) and 1 white meat chicken sandweech (all had same toppings) with a side of white sauce and an herb sauce. I did a build your own, which allowed you to choose which toppings you wanted. I also got them toasted, but there is a name for the process that makes them toastier. Just ask for it to be extra toasty, they'll know what to do. My toppings: protein of choice, feta, lettuce, onion, tomato, Mediterranean ranch, black olives, rice, and tabbouleh! It looks small from the outside but, there is seating within for you to actually enjoy the experience of eating in. I must say I enjoyed the white chicken sandweech a lot more than the gyro. The chicken was seasoned so well to where it elevated the entire wrap. Will most definitely get the white meat chicken again. Gyro 4/5 Chicken 10/5 lol For all 3 wraps and the two side 2oz sauces, I paid $48. I guess I should've paid attention to the pricing, but it's devoured now. They do special deals on certain days for $9.99 which includes a drink. Monday: some sort of bowl and drink. Tuesday: sandweech, side of fries and drink. Go on a Tuesday! The restaurant was very clean. It's a fast casual place where food is ordered down the line and made fresh to order. You can order from pre-fix menu or customize your order. Quick car review for my favorite lunch spot! Pita way is a fantastic, cheap and high quality place for lunch. On Tuesdays you can get a sandweech (pita) with choice of chicken and fries or hummus for $10! Ingredients are freshly grilled and prepared, everything is always delicious. The owners are so nice and always recognize you if you come in frequently. Service is usually fast for how busy it can be at lunch. Inside the restaurant has several tables, nothing fancy. Situated in a small plaza directly on Cool Springs Boulevard alongside Dunkin, Pita Way is a small made-to-order Mediterranean spot the specializes in sandwiches and bowls. This location is not far from our office, so it makes an easy lunch treat whether in bulk for the office or just a swing by for one or two of us. I usually go with the Quesapita, which is a tasty play on a quesadilla. Toss some dark meat chicken along with a few veggies and the house white sauce...happiness! I side it with fries, but they have other more traditional sides as well. Food is well prepared, not the biggest of servings for the cost, but it is still a tasty, light lunch. Space cleanliness is hit and miss. I think it is the variety of floors they have that seem to constantly seem sticky. Service is always decent, timely and friendly. Thanks to Yelp I founded this hidden gem in Cool Springs. Otherwise it's not visible from the main street. But, you guess what, the premise was pretty busy. Constant flow of customers make you feel good before you order first time. Observing service, three employees, hustling hard to deliver a good service shows a lot how customers are important for a small business owner. Outlet, including an inside ambiance, is a pretty much standard looking for this type of businesses. I left quality of food for the end, because I decided to take out and share with my wife at home. I came to the pita way as part of a Yelp event and I am so glad that I did. The owner Chad is super nice and welcoming, as I waited in line I heard how he recommended his favorite gyro to a guy in front of me, and the guy loved it. I ordered a rice bowl with gyro meat, I added the hummus and the garlic sauce which is out of this world delicious, I tried their chicken also which has the best seasoning. They have so many toppings to choose from and they even have some weekend catering specials. The hype about the fries is so real! Between the cheese and the spice. It's perfectly delicious. Wow! The staff here is absolutely amazing, and the food is really good. Highly recommended! The moment we walked in the door we were greeted by the friendly staff. They were eager to explain all the various options and tell us about the ingredients, offering suggestions along the way. Their enthusiasm really got us excited for the food we were about to enjoy. And it was clear they were being authentic, which was backed up by how good the food was. I opted for the Quesopita, which is something like a quesadilla on pita bread. I went with crispy chicken and a variety of their yummy toppings. My wife got a Rice Bowl, with great ingredients and their delicious white sauce (a variation on ranch dressing), and she was raving about how good it was. I also got the Fire Fries, which were super good. They are really good about allergies here. My wife can't have gluten, and when she mentioned that the staff used a fresh knife and cutting board to make sure there was no cross-contamination. We really appreciated that they would go the extra mile for their gluten-free customers. I can't say enough about the great staff here. This is my new favorite go-to! It's kind of like Subway in the way you order - bowl, sandwich, or quesadilla. Then you pick your toppings. The quality is much better than Subway though. They have excellent hummus. My favorite thing is the reaper powder they can add at the end. A little goes a long way. Tip: 2x a year they have a $150 gift card for $100 deal. Opted to go with the ones you can't customize, however there is another option to customize. Do like the ability to have your order as a pita sandwich/wrap, salad or rice bowl. The Falafel was one of the better ones that I've had in the area! All the fillings were fresh and delicious. Loved that they have the pickled radish in it, completely reminded me of Zankou Chicken in Southern California. Staff: A+ I ended up talking to the owner's son who served me (so despite being a franchise, it's still a family owned/operated branch!). He told me that when they moved here they were sad about the lack of good Mediterranean food available so they decided to bring one of their faves to town. I get why they love it. The son and the other 2 staff members I associated with were all very kind and had great attitudes. 5 stars isn't enough!!! We went the other day and ordered in person for takeout and left as loyal customers. Not only was the staff super friendly... not only was the food fresh and flavorful (I made my own Sandweech - so delicious) but the customer service afterward was phenomenal. We didn't realize until we got home, but somehow we didn't receive 2 of our 5 meals after paying. We were bummed and didn't want to drive the 15 minutes back to the restaurant, but we called them and the owner (I think) said I can't have 2 people going hungry and had our 2 meals personally delivered to us in record time and with complimentary Baklava. Ugh...I hate leaving bad reviews but in short, this is Mediterranean for people who've never tasted good Mediterranean food. Some reviews have likened it to a Subway, and they are correct: fresh, but not what they claim to offer. What we ordered: Two pita bowls, one with gyro meat, and the other with white meat. Positive notes: The pickled cabbage was spot-on delicious. Perfect texture and wonderful flavor. If you decide to go here, make sure you get some! Despite people's complaints about portion size, we found them to be generous. And the gyro meat was on the mild side but overall pretty good. The romaine was nice and crisp, and also, despite some negative reviews, the place was clean and seemed well-organized and managed. The staff was very friendly and sincere. They all seemed like nice people-happy to be there. You can't fake that. Clearly, they must be doing right by their employees. Negative notes: There is no tzatziki. It is a modified ranch. To be fair, they noted it's kind of like a Mediterranean ranch, so I should have known better. But it seemed like a mayonaise-based dressing with a flavor profile that didn't match the Mediterranean theme. The white chicken was overall lacking flavor. It wasn't necessarily bad, but could have benefited from some turmeric or other spices. The hummus was the simplest, most repulsive humus I've ever had. The chick peas used for it had absolutely no flavor. There's something to enjoy about a simple hummus and I have no idea how they messed it up. Canned black olives? Nothing wrong with them, but we were expecting olives like kalamata or others more traditional in such dishes. The pita? Unfortunately, it was dry, and tasteless. It had no bite or chew. I could go on, but think I left enough info. We'll be back to give it another try but just order something different. We love Pita Way. I came in here looking for a place to cater for my son sixth birthday party. Chad, the manager, was amazingly kind. I love their falafel sandwiches, which are just full of flavor and pickled vegetables. On top of that, he offered me a free kids meals because I had come in with my son. You don't see that type of service nowadays anymore! We decided then and there to cater and we were not disappointed! We just had our party today. The food was delivered and it was hot and delicious.
