The owner was friendly. The portions are great. I haven't tried anything I didn't like. It was all bursting with wonderful flavors. My friend Dino the plumber in Spring Hill who is a great plumber and he's Greek, told me about Pitaluv. No need to drive to Tarpon Springs when you have the best Greek food right in Spring Hill, he said and I agree because I just ate there BTW, Dino's slogan is got a leak call the Greek lol! Anyway, I had the traditional gyro and it was delicious even the pepper that it came with was edible. It wasn't super hot. Have I mentioned I don't like really hot peppers but this one was good. Great first time experience. Outside seating only but cute. Lots of take out orders. My Greco salad was delicious and plenty. Loved the grape leaves. Husband ordered the gyro with fries. Says the fries were perfect and crunchy. Loved his gyro. Bottled soft drinks offered only. All meals served in styrofoam. Meals are prepped to order so there is a bit of a wait. We ate in the evening so it was shady in the patio but I would expect the patio to be very hot in summer. Service friendly. read more

I'm super impressed with this place. The food was phenomenal.. you wouldn't know it because it's all the way in the corner and it looks like just a hole in the wall place off of Spring Hill Drive but I would highly recommend getting the Gyro and grape leaves. read more

Holy crap this place is amazing. It's been across the street from my place for years and I never knew it existed. Huge portions, delicious food and very reasonable prices. 5 stars based on food alone, but gave a 4 to factor in the ambiance and process of ordering. Idk how my hubs found this place but posting pics and reviews to help the next customer. The food is delicious! I had the Caesar salad and opted to top with gyro. The salad was HUGE (: the "homemade croutons" are crispy pita bites (not sure if baked or fried) and the salad is generous (lots of veggie options tossed in, shaved Romano and Parmesan cheeses, crisp and tasty). Caesar dressing comes separate with to-go, but probably best so you don't have soggy lettuce once at your destination. Curious to know how it comes if you dine on the patio. I didn't get a pic but get the Mac n' cheese bites! They look underwhelming but I promise it's good. It comes with hot sauce for dipping- you might question it, so did my hubs, but it was a great pairing. My hubs ordered the gyro pita and he said it was delicious! We ordered a side of fries for our little one- it comes topped with I'm assuming oregano/italian seasoning. I also ordered cheese fries (the "cheddar and Colby sauce" one) and it didn't come with the seasoning although it probably would've paired better. The cheese fries were basic but super nostalgic of like getting cheese fries at a ball park or sports venue- just need it in a cup and a wooden pick or spork (; We finished off with a piece of baklava- it was warm, dripping with honey, and SO yummy. Location- it's in the corner of a strip mall with a small outdoor dining patio with a handful of tables. It had just rained when we arrived so obviously not dining out. We were greeted by one of the employees who also was taking orders over the phone and running out to-go orders to cars. He instructed us to scan the QR code on the window where their menu is posted or to place our order on their website- they only have their kitchen inside/ no indoor wait area. We saw plenty of cars drive in and waiting for their orders in the parking lot. Ordered food on the phone, the person taking my order asked for my car type and color. Sounds like their policy is to walk the food outside verses having people come in. Fair. When you arrive at the location there are limited parking spots directly in eye shot of the Pitaluv front door. This meant we had to park off to the left side which is only about 10 feet from the front door but in fairness out of eyeshot. Opportunity here: if you are requiring your guests to wait patiently in their cars get a camera or a huge mirror so you can be on the look out for the car you are expecting. Or place signs that say pita luv only parking is on the right side and if no spots available walk in and tell us you're here. There are plenty of solutions when your normal parking is overcrowded. We had the mac and cheese bites, falafel wrap, American chicken wrap, garden salad, and mini chocolate peanut butter cream pie. We both loved our wraps, which were made to order. Piping hot, fresh and flavorful. The cheese bites were delicious. We doggy bagged our salad because we were full. I had the cream pie later and it was delicious. This is a great spot for vegetarians and carnivores alike. Just be aware that it's a fast casual place where packed food is either delivered to parked cars or you can eat in their tiny patio. Wow. This little place is a hidden diamond right here in Spring Hill. The restaurant is easy to pass up snuggled in the corner of a parking lot but once found you are in for a nice surprise. During our current COVID times, they are currently only providing takeout orders but they do it well. My first time here I walked up and waiter Nick, doned with a mask, sat us in the side garden and provided us with the menu. We ordered then waited in our car. Order eras ready in about ten minutes. We love Pitaluv! There's no indoor seating, but outdoors is cute, the service is super friendly and attentive. They make everything from scratch and theirs is THE BEST tziziki!! Not majority onion like others, so my sleeved stomach tolerates it really well. They are great about letting me order from the kids menu so I don't waste food. I love the kids pita melt, with lamb and feta subbed in for the kids white American. I also love the tuna pita. Jason has tried almost everything but has settled on the Philly Steak Pita as his go-to. And can we talk about the Mac and cheese bites?!! REAL CHEESE with macaroni! Try them, your mouth will dance. When we picked up our food they brought it out and told us they were giving us a free dessert as they were celebrating their 2 year anniversary. We found this hidden gem wanting a good salad. Wow did we get lucky. One of the owners and his family served us and were beyond friendly. We ordered a Greek salad and a large beautiful salad arrived. There were 2 grape wraps on top that were good. The feta cheese was delicious and plenty. The Greek dressing was homemade. I could tell the owner was Greek. He was proud of his food.
