We ate here again the other night and just like previous times it was fantastic! When we picked up our food they brought it out and told us they were giving us a free dessert as they were celebrating their 2 year anniversary. When we opened the dessert box they gave us it was a piece of baklava....we were both so excited. We ate it before we even left the parking lot and it was fabulous! When we got home we ate the rest of our meal. The portions they give you are huge and the flavors are so good. You have to give this little place a try.....you will love it! read more

We found this hidden gem wanting a good salad. Wow did we get lucky. One of the owners and his family served us and were beyond friendly. We ordered a Greek salad and a large beautiful salad arrived. There were 2 grape wraps on top that were good. The feta cheese was delicious and plenty. The Greek dressing was homemade. I could tell the owner was Greek. He was proud of his food. The potato salad was the best. A little sweet but I loved it and ordered more. The gyro meat was very flavorful and moist. The pita was fresh. I looked at the menu and there is so many delicious choices I'm going to return for more. They have 3 outdoor tables and their take out is huge. I accidentally found this place while working in the Spring Hill area. I pulled over to look up some directions and happened to be parked in the restaurant's curbside spots. A guy walked over to bring me a menu and I realized I hadn't stopped to eat, so why not? I decided to get the gyro fries. My co-worker and I decided to split them. They were out to us in less than 10 minutes. They were a big serving and even the two of us didn't finish them all! They were piled high with gyro meat, feta, and other yummy ingredients. Comes with a side of Taziki. These were delicious! My co-worker and I joked that we were going to have to find more tasks in that are just so we could eat again at Pitaluv. Just as a note, this place is mostly set up for to-go orders. They have a couple of outside tables but nothing indoors. My only complaint is there is no restroom. I'll definitely try other items on the menu the next time I'm in the area because there was so much more that sounded great! It will be tough not to get gyro fries are the bomb! read more

Well this is a little hidden gem. No indoor seating and just four tables outside. However, the menu is really nice, good selection . The food is really good. I had the Greco salad, there was probably 2-3 lbs of totally fresh salad. My wife had the BLT and it was huge and very good. The pitas are fresh like they just came out of the oven. The staff here give you the best customer service, I moved from Tarpon Springs where all we ate we Greek food, I moved to Spring Hill and stumbled upon this hidden gem. Their food is always 100 percent fresh and tasty. It's consistent and hits the spot. The menu is extensive but I was laser focused on the Gyro. Holy cats - D E L I C I O U S !! Pita is soft and tasty, meat was tender and flavorful, tzatziki is perfect, crisp lettuce/fresh tomato and feta sprinkles crown the jewel. Best gyro I've had in a very long time. First visit: I'm impressed! We just moved up to Spring Hill from St. Pete and one thing I knew I'd miss was the dining options. While still scarce, I'm very happy to have found PitaLuv. What stood out to me was the subtle flavoring of the food... it's the kind that tastes authentic. Like you take a bite and pause... say, "whoa... what did they do to this?" and then keep chowing. It's obvious now that the chef here is Greek and spent time in his grandma's kitchen. Keep in mind that there's only outside seating. Found this place on yelp as we were in the neighborhood. Even though they only have outside area for people to eat there, it's pet friendly, we like it as we have a puggle with us. The people there are very friendly, service is good!! The food is fresh and outstanding. We were hungry, ordered: 1. Fried cheese with the white Greek garlic dipping sauce. 2. Cesar salad with grilled shrimp on top. 3. Chicken breast Platter, hummus and eggplant dipping, it comes with fries too, the fries are tasty as well. 4. Two bottles of water. Total $40+, big dishes too. In the end, we probably only ate half of what we ordered, more for the next day lol. We would go back for sure. Wow! Went for Lunch, Saturday noon-ish. Had the Gyro and Feta Fries and the spinach pie appetizer. Service: wonderful. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Food came in pretty quickly. Food: Outstanding. Pita was soft and delicious. Gyro meat was excellent, and topping were perfect. But the Feta Fries were obnoxiously good! And what a great helping of crumbled Feta! The potion sizes were large and I was glad because it was so good.and I wanted to eat to capacity! With their portion sizes, no problem. I was stuffed full! First off, service was AMAZING! Angelo is the nicest most helpful owner EVER... Their food is the ABSOLUTE BEST Greek food I have had in my entire life. Their chicken is beautifully cooked, their gyro meat is out of this world, the pita was so good, the salad was insanely good, their fries are so crispy and well seasoned, the feta cheese is AWESOME, the grape leaves were delicious, their ziki is fresh and outstanding, and their hummus is the best. Definitely recommend trying out. The shrimp was a little fishy and the MacNCheese bites weren't the greatest. But we did split the Greek salad between three adults. It was a pretty big portion and the pita bread with hummus was delicious. Absolutely loved this place! I was visiting the botanical gardens and needed a quick place to grab a bit to eat with my toddler, picked this place because it was super close and looked tasty. It wassssss! My toddler and I shared a chicken pita wrap along with some zucchini fries. Service was AMAZING! Seriously such a great group of guys. Definitely suggest the wrap, pita was fluffy but also lightly crisped (yum!) chicken was very flavorful and the sauce was perfect. Would have maybe added pickles - but that's just me.
