I came to visit my family for a couple days and on the morning of my leaving,my family surprised me with breakfast at this fine restaurant. I don't have pictures but the ambiance was nice as well. There was a bit of a line when we walked in but it moved through fast. We were seated at a booth and our waitress greeted us right away and took our drink orders. I asked for hot tea and it was good. I ordered the 1+1+1+ 1 which is one egg,one strip of bacon,one sausage link and one piece of French toast. It was a hearty portion and very filling. I also ordered the fresh fruit cup which was also good. I highly recommended this cafe for anyone who wants to support a local business not a chain. read more

I would like to give a shout out to Pavlov we can on a busy Sunday. Our from was originally 7 then it changed to 10 and I didn't know who called it in. However, Pavlov not only took care of it himself he made us feel welcome and not to worry. Food was delicious! My bacon was crispy the way I like it. Definitely I would say a dive and dinner vibe. Wow, I can't believe it's such a long time since I updated my My Review here. This is a great Greek breakfast and luncheonette. I had what was called the timber Pines. I think they had mushrooms and peppers and onions when I substituted more mushrooms for the spinach. it was so delicious. I got fried bread on the side and ice water with lemon. I don't drink a lot of soda or alcohol, milk yes and water yes. The prices are about the same as all the other restaurants around. The waitresses are great and have a good sense of humor. Of course it is Greek owned and you can tell that just by how good the food is. Come give it a try you'll like it. read more

Best place to eat in Spring Hill we have been coming here since we moved to Spring Hill 2 years ago. Great mom and pop with great food, always clean and friendly. The sons are both kind and professional, never had an issue. Sometimes the servers will be a little slow but they are always packed and busy! Best gyros! Best sandwiches and best fries! And when Gale makes the sweet tea it's the best!! If your expectations is for something fancy and no flavor take your butt somewhere else. This place isn't for you. If you can't be respectful for a family owned business that the kids help the parents because they want too not because they have too don't waste their time by going, if your bias against young people, if your just going to be a negative person, and can't appreciate the next generation is working to keep this family's dream, then take your old, grumpy butt somewhere else. There are lots of places in Spring Hill that are just ok. This is not one of them! This place is exceptional! MY GROUP WAS EXPELLED FROM THOUSAND ISLAND CAFE -My group (ranging usually from 10 to 14) of great friends have dined there almost every Sunday. morning. The place in super clean and food was consistently good, except today. The place was packed, the service was beyond slow, food missing, we had to go get someone for continued service at, i.e. missing items, coffee, etc. While the servers were busting butt because the owner obviously too cheap to hire more staff, and leaning again the wall, a couple from the group approached him for refills and other service. Worst ever since we've been meeting there. When I went to pay, I began to explain our group didn't get some items and the potatoes were rubber. The owner exclaims before I could finish my sentence, exclaims, "Your group is a pain in the ass and don't come back again". I have a degree in food and beverage management and worked in the hospitality industry for decades, his response was not only unprofessional but extremely rude. My suggestion: don't cross him, if you eat there you knew him, tall, handsome and always around. He needs to realize there are tons of great dining options in Spring Hill. read more

Was sat immediately, we had to wait for a bit but two servers came by, one got our drinks the other explained they were short handed and the servers were also cooking. Arrived at 10:45 and it looked like it was packed, but we managed to get a table immediately. Our waitress was very attentive and served us quickly, which is especially important when you need coffee desperately. One of the specials was Pastitsio, Greek lemon soup (which I equate to avgolemeno) and Greek salad. I thought I hit the mother load. Unfortunately, the soup tasted nothing like authentic Greek, nor did the pastitsio. . The feta on the salad did not taste like feta but the olives were spot on. Kinda a bummer. Kinda wanted to ask if they'd like me to show them how it's done. My husband a breakfast skillet and said it was good. I do have to say the staff was super great and attentive even though the place was busy and they have signs up notifying customers they are short staffed. read more

What a find!!! Not from the area, I was bowling a tournament in Spring Hill, we stopped in this place for Sunday breakfast. We were treated at the door as if they were our family. After being seated we were greeted by Palma, our server, who made us feel at home. She did a great job of keeping our glasses full and our order right. The owners know how to keep their customers coming back. Great food and large portions. Next month I will be back in Spring Hill and will eat here again. read more

My experience here was that the service was outstanding, friendly, efficient. The coffee was very weak, basically brown water. The breakfast omelette was fine, neither memorably good or bad. Prices were extremely reasonable. Would I go back? Probably try other breakfast restaurants first; I do feel it is better than Denny's though. read more

This was a great find in Spring Hill dor breakfast, we went there looking for a good breakfast and left satisfied and happy with our choices. Their breakfast menu is served all day but they also have a lunch and dinner menu, going from greek to the classic meals and their own combinations. I ordered 2 eggs over easy with kielbasa sausage and home fries and my mother-in-law ordered a croissant egg sandwich with a cup of fruit. It was delicious, the eggs cooked over easy to perfection same with kielbasa and my mother-in-law loved her egg croissant. Also their orange juice tasted fresh squeezed and our waitress was lovely. The place was clean and pleasant with a nice decor. I'll definitely be back for dinner or lunch to try their regular menu. read more

Never disappointed with the food here... it is a great local place with flavor and charm. The servings are by far the largest I have ever seen! The only thing i would skip on is jawing up the fries, just get the regular fries,and skip the feta up charge. Other than that, great food. I really wanted to like this place. I pass by it all the time. My daughter and I ate there a few months ago and were horrified. She ordered a taco salad and I ordered a chef's salad. Both had unpitted Kalamata olives in them. We could have choked. Neither of us was expecting that. Also, my chef's salad had about a full pound of roast beef thrown on top. Never have I had roast beef in a chef's salad. It did have turkey and ham but it was not sliced it was just thrown on top in huge slices. We were not impressed one little bit. read more

The food was good however the waitress must not of heard my husband say he wanted the toasted turkey club lunch special with soup because she brought him a side soup and a large turkey bacon club wrap. Also we ordered the spinach pie as an appetizer and it came with my meal which was a chicken gyro. The cheddar broccoli soup was watery and needs some yellow cheese for coloring and bright green broccoli in it for it to be more easy on the eyes and more edible. .
