This place is phenomenal!!! My husband and I last minute decided we didn't want to make dinner. I was in the mood for Mediterranean and gave it a google to see if anywhere we hadn't been popped up. This place did and we wanted something casual and easy. It was the perfect fit. I ordered the grilled wrap with beef shawarma and requested rice as my side instead of fries. When the food arrived to the table it looked so delicious I didn't even leave time to take a pic. Omggggg wow!! Bursting with flavor. You have a choice of sauce and I got the tahini. It was amazing. My husband opted for their daily special of a lamb shank entree that came with rice, salad, hummus and pita bread. We also ordered garlic naan because we couldn't resist. The lamb melted in your mouth and was worth the price point. We both left so full and so happy. If I could pick one place in the area to eat at weekly, this would be it! When we discovered our lunch place unexpectedly closed, we looked for something nearby - I love Shishkebab so off we went. The restaurant is tucked in the back of the center and it was definitely worth the search! There are only a few tables but the food is cooked to order and is really delicious - ordered chicken shish kebob platter. It came with salad, rice and warm pita bread. The takeout business appeared to be busy and after tasting the food I can understand why. We waited about 15 minutes for our lunch so if you're in a hurry you can preorder. My first and last visit to Al Shishkebab. I was one of four people in the restaurant when I ordered a chicken platter and garlic naan to go. After waiting over 30 minutes for my food they mentioned that they ran out of rice and my food would be out in a few minutes. Two minutes later the woman at the counter asks if anyone ordered the chicken platter with garlic naan. I said I did and walked up to grab my food and the woman says, "I messed up and the food has been sitting here the whole time" and pushes the food towards me to take. I asked if it was still warm and she said I would have to check it and it was barely luke warm. The woman then said, "We'll have to refire it." I was over waiting so I just asked for a refund, which they did give. Oh, and they allowed one customer to sit in their dining area with a bird on her shoulder so maybe this was a blessing in disguise. read more

We placed it to go order for chicken tikka masala, and shrimp tikka masala, with garlic naan and samosas. Everything was very fresh and flavorful the woman working the register was very nice and the gentleman in the back was also very kind and told me that next time we could call directly and save ourselves a little bit of money rather than going through DoorDash. We will definitely order from here again we got tons of food for a very reasonable price. You have to try this place! Stopped in yesterday and order take out. Got the mixed platter. The kebab was the winner for me. But I also tried the chicken shish kebab and beef shawarma. Came with rice, hummus, pita, tomato/cucumber salad, and a garlic sauce. The garlic sauce is fantastic and the hummus is so smooth. I woke up this morning and had left overs for breakfast and still enough food for a snack later. My husband ordered butter chicken, which was really good too.
