After looking for a new piano for my baby grand, I scheduled an appointment with Pitch Perfect Piano in the DFW area. I received a confirmation email that the appointment was scheduled. No one showed up at the scheduled time. I called the Pitch Perfect Piano phone number after they were 20 min late and left a voicemail as they were not open at 8:20 am. Left them another voicemail after 9 am. They still were not open. I sent them an email later in the day and again, no response. Their voicemail message indicates they try to exceed customer expectations. Unfortunately, they did not start to try and exceed my expectations. Look elsewhere for a quality piano tuner. read more

Very disappointed. I cancelled with this company as I found a better rate elsewhere and the owner did not let his mover guys know even though he confirmed cancellation. He did not have any of my information on the receipt either. The guys who delivered the piano were very professional and nice but were also confused as to why my information wasn't on the sheet - they had called the wrong number to confirm (though not their fault since they didn't know since their owner/boss (Ron) gave them wrong information). I called the owner (Ron) 8 times and he finally picked up on the 8th try even though I texted him too multiple times asking why they still did the job when I got confirmation of cancel. The owner, Ron, was incredibly rude on the phone (not to mention ignoring my multiple calls and texts). Do not book them unless you wish to have rude management. *ADDED I see the owner replied to my review and have attached my previous quote in photos to provide additional proof that it was not an additional $50 more. I would not lie about what I was paying with the other company. I would also like to point out Ron told his worker I never said I cancelled until I finally got on the phone with him. This cost me 3x more than I had planned on paying due to his mistake and he was indeed rude on the phone (so no the price was NOT matched at all). In addition, I started contacting Ron at 8:30 and didn't hear back until 30 min later (see my photos - doesn't look like it took 5 min to get back to me?). I am not one to make a review but this cost me a fortune and I was very disappointed in the way he handled it. He didn't even figure it out with me he just said "so what do you want me to do about it." Ron - if you need additional proof I would be happy to provide since you are trying to call me a "liar" and "politician." Also, not a great thing you're commenting on here trying to call your customer a liar - have your facts straight first before you try to call someone out or else it makes you look bad, I always keep my time stamps for calls/ messages and receipts. We used Pitch Perfect Piano to have a piano moved locally. They usually only move pianos on Saturdays - during the rest of the week, I guess they do the piano tuning, repairs, refinishing, sales and consignments. Ron gave us a quote that matched another piano moving company, and the Saturday moving date worked better for our schedule. Later in the week, he contacted both parties (the piano's old home and the piano's new home) to make sure the addresses were correct, and to set up a time window for pick up and delivery. And he was right on time! They have a "move & tune" special, where they move the piano, and after a month of it settling in its new place, will return for proper tuning. I'd use them again if I needed a piano moved. Tip: When planning on getting a piano moved, let the piano movers know if there are any steps or stairs at all - especially if there are none! read more

My wife wants to learn how to play the piano. I can play a bit but have always used electronic keyboards that lack that true piano feel. Anyway a friend of ours said she wanted to get rid of her piano - for FREE - we just had to MOVE it! Well I jumped at the chance, and had to find a piano mover. I did an online search and called Pitch Perfect Piano up. Being piano tuners themselves I figured they would know more about moving them! The price was "in the ball park" of what I was expecting, so I booked them. They had to partially disassemble the piano to move it so It's good they know what they were doing. Put all kinds of pads down on the stairs and floor as to not scratch anything. Ron and crew were really nice. Even when my wife could not decide where to put the piano, they were really good about letting her figure it out. The 25 year old piano is in it's new home and even maintained good relative pitch (my tuners indicate it is more or less a quarter tone flat over the whole range) - no bad considering down a flight of stair, move about 35 miles, and then up another flight of stairs! They are coming three weeks from Thursday to tune it to pitch as part of the "move and tune" special. Ron sometimes sounded a little grumpy on the phone, but in person he is really nice so don't let his phone voice put you off. If I need to move this piano again (maybe downstairs) I'll give them a call for sure! read more
