Horrible service, was supposed to repplace a broken band , when I went back for it they couldn't find it with all the staff looking for it. and then charged $200 to place a clasp on it whic is NOT wat needed done. We have gone to Pittman Jewelers for years! In every instance, they have gone above and beyond. I would not be comfortable going to a chain. I love seeing familiar faces when we go in, even if it's been a while! Recently, we took my engagement ring in to get a prong fixed. Mike ended up redoing the setting for me. I don't want to haggle the price to resize a ring. Went in and they told me I'd be 180 to resize the ring. I said no thanks and they asked what I'd like to pay. I said 80 (nation average to resize a ring). Attendant walked away (with our ring) out of sight and said can you do 130. Said no and walked out. Went to kay and they did it for 70 and never took the ring out of our sight. I just want an honest price and I don't want to negotiate. Hopefully they improve. I'd rather not use a chain store but left me no choice. read more

Very upset and disappointed. Went to this place thinking that they are the best in town. Took two of my Movado watches to replace batteries and aside from it being overpriced I didn't care because the watches are worth it. Only worn a few times. Literally new. Left with one watch having a huge scratch on the back and the other a minor but significantly viewable scratch in the front. I'm trying to see if I can find some where else to get this maybe polished off or fixed somehow. These are $1k+ watches. Left visibly upset and they didn't even care. Seriously the worst. I had a 25 year old thick gold chain fixed 3 times the third time I picked up the repaired chain I was told that there were other weak links that would break anytime. Why they weren't repaired while they had the piece? The chain did break again after the second time I wore it. I was never informed of the other weak links until I paid for the repair. Poor unfriendly service. There are other Jewlers in Clermont area which I didn't know about they were honest up front and took my business seriously and were much friendlier. Never again will I go here. read more

Very rude staff. They refused to tell me the price of my engraving ("it's just a few dollars per letter") and when I got it done anyways, it was $40 (+tax) for 8 characters. I went in to sell my ring. The man looked at my ring. Asked me what I wanted for it rather than telling me what he would offer. How would I be able to give them a figure when I don't even know how much it cost in the first place? The woman that was along side the man said how much do you want for it, $200-$300? I'm curious if she is always that rude and insulting to all her first time guest? The man who inspected the ring said he didn't want to give us an offer because he didn't want to insult us. Well we were already insulted. Needless to say we left pretty quickly. I would never do business like that, nor speak to customers like that either. Completely unprofessional. I will not be returning nor would I recommend anyone go there in the future. read more

I had my rolex watch serviced at this place. Pittman was supposed to be this highly regarded trained watch repair man. The watch never worked correctly. Did not work correctly. After several thousand dollars over 3 repairs I gave up. Finally my husband went someplace in another town another town. After we got the watch back we find out parts were missing from watch and cheap after market parts were used. The ladies in the store are so cute & friendly that it makes me want to go in and buy all their Pandora! It's nice seeing how helpful they are with the boyfriends and husbands that come in looking for something to get their partners. Not to mention the cute shih tzu they have running around the store for you to pet while you're looking at jewelry. I never feel crowded while browsing like most other jewelry sales people make me feel. They give me time, never pressure, and are always courteous to customers. They are shady! I was interested in buying a sapphire ring and when I said the stone looked almost black and not the standard blue the salesman told me that it meant it was higher quality. I went home and did research and found the opposite was true. They have the ring priced at $2,300!! I also wanted to see what I could get for my diamond ring and they told me it was only worth $800 when I know it is valued at 3x's that. Go somewhere else. They will rip you off! read more

Two employees, a man and a woman, would not cater to the reason I entered the store to begin with, they tried to sell me additional services which was irrelevant. They were rude. Very unprofessional.
