They proceeded to look at him as if they had never heard anybody speak to them and then looked at me and told him oh well somebody will be with you soon. We had no intention of shopping fragance but Val just made us feel so welcomed and relaxed, asked for our input and opinions, like she really wanted to get to know us. She even went above and beyond to look for a certain fragrance size even though her coworker said she already stocked up and she ended up finding it! Excellent customer service! She even sorted out so many gifts with purchase to select the one that contended our hearts lol. She was just amazing and pleasant to be with. Honestly, that's the first time I ever felt like that at a JC Penny.

Unfortunately after a few weeks of going in and learning that my chain was not ready, they texted me to say that they lost my chain but I could go in and choose another one. My heart was broken but Hannah was really patient and helpful in finding a similar chain and I chose (and paid) for a pendant to go along with it. A couple weeks later I moved to another city when I got a text that they found my chain, so drove the 4 hours round-trip to pick it up. They did a good job, were still friendly and waived the $25 mending fee. Things happen but customer service makes all the difference! I'm thrilled to have had a happy ending by being reunited with my gold chain.

The only issue was that it was slightly too long for my liking. So they offered to add a hoop chain at the length I wanted so I didn't have to get rid of the rest of the gold. They did this at no extra charge, going above and beyond. Because of the interactions I had with the lovely employees and owner I decided to take a leap of faith and leave a family heirloom my grandmothers engagement ring she gave to me. Unfortunately it was missing a diamond whe it was gifted to me and needed repair. When I came back to Simmons to pick up my chain and ring both pieces looked amazing and were exactly what I wanted. I was so happy with the result I left some more pieces. 2 rings that needed resizing, a broken chain that needed repairing, and a gold bracelet that needed a couple links removed. I came back about a week later and once again everything looks amazing!!!!! I cannot express how amazing and personable the employees of this shop are. They made me feel so comfortable during the entire process of leaving my family heirlooms to get a bit of a make over. I went into the store looking for information on an item I had and was very surprised to find that the entire staff was friendly and offered great customer service. The manager was very helpful and let me take my time to look around. She seemed very knowledgeable as did the rest of her staff. While I shopped, they offered to answer any questions that I may have had. While looking around, I was reminded as to all the things I owned and had no more use for and decided to return and see if they might be interested in taking a few items off my hands. Upon returning, I was greeted with the same friendly atmosphere I had originally received a few days earlier. They were more than happy to look over my items and I was offered a very competitive and fair price. He spoke with them on the phone before he left the house to verify they had the camera lense he was looking for. But when he got there the lense was not the same one they advertised. Their description on craigslist was wrong. We are very very disappointed with the owners who don't care enough about accurate advertising to respect their clients time and travel costs. They need to pay more attention to advertising descriptions.
