My experience was perfect. Voice system made all of the arrangements and even quoted a ball park price. It kept me informed and confirmed the appointment an hour in advance. I was quoted $86.00 online during this guys trip the driver charged me $198.00 and thanked me for being his customer.. I complained to their customer service team in Pittsburgh. They apologized and said that they would refund the money. The driver claimed to be a social worker and was working a second job. He was congenial the cab was clean. . And he even asked me if I wanted to tip him. He would not let me put my debit card in the cabs card reader. He instead wanted me to use something else called a square card reader. It would seem to me that the company not allowing me to use their card reader was somewhat unnerving. read more

Called the day before for a cab on a Sunday at 6:00 AM to be downtown. Called an verified that the cab has been ordered. Well on Sunday morning I called just to be sure and the recording said that they were searching for a cab???. Needless to say that the cab was 30 minutes late. I missed my Lenzner Bus and could not proceed to Niagara Falls. The money was non refundable. When I called to complain, I was given the excuse "well it is the weekend"????? Don't the cabs run on weekends? Then I was told that I should have requested with a human? Good luck with that. Hailed car 219 at the airport. On the way home I could see his GPS was taking us a different way than the route to my house. When I told him to take the upcoming exit, he asked "is it back roads?". I said no and he said "I need to go the way I'm comfortable". We drove 3 extra exits down the highway to go "a way that he's comfortable" (it's not like he's been to my house). He pulled into my driveway which is about 65 yards long up a hill and has a turnaround halfway up and he tried to let me off at the bottom. I said no, take me the whole way to the house. Again "I'm not comfortable backing up like this". WHY ARE YOU DRIVING A CAB?! I started to pay on the meter and he cancelled it out saying I needed to give him cash or Venmo him. When I asked why he said "because that's how he runs his business.". I didn't feel comfortable doing that so I told him to call dispatch. He did and while we were on hold, he drove down to the bottom of my driveway (didn't have any problems doing that apparently). Dispatch told him I could pay however I wanted but also asked why the ride was so expensive. I told them he want a long unusual way to my house. He kept trying to focus the conversation to payment options and even when dispatch confirmed I can pay however I want, he wouldn't allow it. After 20 mins of this in my driveway at 1 am, I felt unsafe so paid and lugged my suitcases up the driveway in the rain. I tried to complain, zTrip said they'd escalate it to a manager for a refund and now nobody will call me back. Currently disputing the charge. Driver was very rude at busy gas station. When I was there waiting about 5 minutes for an available pump, he pulls up behind me right as the other driver gets in to leave. I tried to back into the pump becase all were full, he then honked several times to stop me. When i pulled out of the way he did the exact same thing and backed into the pump also nearly hitting another vehicle! This all while a rider is in the car. This was at 4pm at the gas station on pitt airport propety. Car number a49926 plate: tx 49920. Have pictures of all. Was a black male driver. I pulled into the pump next to him to gas up and told him I was clearly trying to get in that pump, he then looked at me with a blank face and ignored me. I have never used ztrip but guaratee i never will now. An UBer or Lyft or Taxi driver would NEVER do that. Poor drivers, and looking at other reviews seems like service in general sucks. My son reserved a wheelchair Zip Ride to get him to a sleep study in Warrendale. This was a requirement to get him released from the nursing home to his own apartment. They did not show up and when he called they were "looking for a wheelchair van." It had been reserved for days and he had to cancel his sleep study after waiting over an hour. This has delayed his release until he can reschedule his sleep study and they have a long wait. Never again!!!! read more

Worst experience ever, reserved a trip to a upmc facility with a vehicle equipped to handle a wheelchair. Needed transported for a doctors appointment from an assisted living facility and back to the home. Car arrived 20 minutes late. Driver was courteous. After the appointment I called z-trip for the return trip. They couldn't get anyone to take us back. I repeatedly called for 3.5 hours until I gave up and called an Uber. No problems with the Uber. Took us to the home, meanwhile Z-trip kept calling my phone to inform me they were still trying, 5 hours after my appointment! I will never use this service again! read more

I used the app , entered in my information. You have everything, my billing info etc. THIS white suv shows was circling the parking lot, I thought looking for a place to park, then pulls up and asked if I was waiting for a taxi. No ID on vehicle. I put my packages in and got in the back seat. I live 1 mile from the shop n save to my apt. He takes the scenic route. Then instead of turning on Cornell place he passes it and goes another 3-4 blocks to Washington Road then has to make a turn and go another 3 blocks before turning down Mt Leb Blvd then 3 more blocks to Cornel place then 1 block to my place. My ride is now 17.00. This is ridiculous. Your drivers padding their trips . Then he tells me that I have to pay him, my card wasn't any good and it didn't go through.....I give him my card and he runs my card and it goes through. I better not be paying twice for this trip as it should never have been $17.00 in the first place. My trip was from 799 castle shannon blvd to Buchanan pl on Thursday 0ct 3 I will NEVER USE ZTrip again. Your app says the fare should be $ 6-7 I deleted my ZTrip app...then I get an email telling me we credited $20 to your app. Really ? You put $20 on an app that does not exist! Lip Service! Waited an hour for a wheelchair accessible cab, only to find that the reservation was mysteriously 'cancelled' without notification. Made another reservation, waited another hour, and never got a wheelchair accessible taxi. Ended up needing to leave my wheelchair at a hotel with friends and take a regular cab home at 3am, meaning I had to go back and retrieve my chair the following day when I could take a bus. If only Uber or Lyft had ADA compliant options. read more

Credits Don't Work; Faulty Booking I scheduled a trip with Z-trip because I had won $50 of free credits, but when I took the trip, there was no way to pay with the credits. I didn't have cash on me and so I had to inconvenience the driver by grabbing some cash while he waited. Customer service was unhelpful and I ended up paying from my pocket on a trip I could have taken the bus for (or any other mode of transportation). The only redeeming quality was the fact that the driver was so kind and accommodating. The app is slow, glitchy, and inconsistent. There is not a large presence around my city so the cars take a long time and are hard to book. I do not recommend this app or company for transportation. read more

I was worried after reading the reviews but I needed a cab to the airport really early in the morning 3 AM on Jan 2,2018. I called a day ahead and dispatch was great. The morning of my cab driver called me 15min earlier than arrival time to confirm I still wanted the cab and confirm address. He exceeded my expectations. The car was clean and warm on a below zero day. My driver was so nice and we had a good conversation on the way to the airport. I work at one of the downtown hotels as a doorman and bellman. One of my duties is to organize transportation for guests of mine. Z-trip has consistently been the worst service in the city. As a hotel, we have a small device where all we have to do is press a button to order a car. I have had trips cancelled by drivers without ever showing up. I have had drivers never show up without bothering to cancel. I have seen 30 minute wait times while Ubers and Lifts come and go. Today set me over the edge, though. One of your drivers, I believe it was cab #420, started yelling at my valet because the guest that he was supposed to pickup had already left, after waiting more than 20 minutes. This driver is ALWAYS unprofessional. He ALWAYS has an attitude. He DOES NOT know how to talk to people. It is not my job to keep my guests waiting for a Z-trip that MIGHT show up. My job is to get my guests to their destination quickly and safely. I will not subject my guests to what I consider the lowest form of transportation in this city. IF I ever order a z-trip for a guest again, I will be sure to swiftly cancel any order that 420 responds to. read more

Watched Ztrip taxi #251 in Pittsburgh almost run another car off the road and cutoff 2 other vehicles. If I didn't know any better I'd say the driver of that taxi was drunk, watched him cut off those 2 other cars on the parkway going into town weaving in and out of traffic. Called this cab company after a concert at The Key Bank Pavillion. We were picked up by the wrong driver, which was purely a mistake on both our parts. Similar name and we told him we were going to a different address than what he had. He realized the mistake about 5 miles down the road. He panicked and literally dropped us off in the middle of a busy highway, route 18, in the dark. We were on the side of the road as I was calling the cab company office. I don't normally take the time to leave reviews be honestly insane.I just moved to the Pleasant hills area and and was unpacking in my new place when I cut my hand petty bad. I did have anything to cover it so I was trying to book a ztrip (banks been frozen due to the move of area so needed to be cash) I first bit a trip for 10:50, is now 3:30 am and I'm sill waiting for a driver. One did take my ride around 1 but drove right past, didn't even stop at the stop sign I had the pick up at ( I was standing there). I go a notification a minute later saying the driver couldn't find me. To make it even better the lady on the phone was rude when I explained I Cut my hand and it was bleeding a good bit and not stoping. To top it all off on the app, it says there has been some 10 mins or closer the whole time. This company is awful. I last called about 20 mins ago, the lady said she was dispatching it as and emergency and that I should have a ride soon. I still haven't gotten any conformation call or text. Pick of my bloody hand and the cancel log of the meeting online scheduled rides I made that never got pick up from to show this is not an exaggeration. Horrendous customer service!! I tried to call Z-Trip for a lift from Ross Park Mall (20 mins from Downtown Pittsburgh). After waiting 40 minutes outside the mall in the baking heat to ensure I did not miss the cab, it was a no-show. I then called up again to chase and it turned out they hadn't even sent a driver out yet. After several more futile calls and two hours of waiting from when I initially called them, I gave up. My Uber came in 3 mins. Lesson: Don't use this shoddy company, they are more than happy to leave you stranded if it's too 'out of the way'! read more

This company is the worst. They are expensive, never on time, and their drivers need to go back to driving school. So far I have experienced speeding drivers, drivers who bob and weave through traffic, drivers who drive right past me at my pick up point, drivers who go down one way streets the wrong way, and drivers who just in general ignore the rules of the road in order to chase their almighty dollar. This company (formerly YellowCab, so that should tell you a lot) doesn't care about their passengers or even other people on the road. Please due yourself a favor and use Uber or Lyft for your transportation needs. You'll get picked up promptly, arrive safely at your destination, and spend a heck of a lot less that zTrip. read more

I wish yelp gave the option to post a review with zero stars, which is what this company deserves. They employ dishonest drivers, do not address incidents and clearly do not care about customer service and should be reported. I was scammed by one of their drivers. He drove me from the Pittsburgh airport to the convention center and first told me that his meter was broken. He pretended that the meter was not working but of course I could not test it myself. He said that it didn't matter though because he knew that a ride from the airport to the convention center would cost $45. I told him that I had been told at the airport's visitors information booth that the ride should cost me $35 (it was 10 am). He said that this information was not correct and he knew because he had been driving a cab for many years. Once we got downtown, he didn't let me swipe my card at the credit card machine mounted in his cab but took my card and swiped it through an attachment in his phone. He didn't give me a printed receipt - although obligated by law to do so, and my card was charged $50. Once I got to the hotel, I asked the person at the reception desk about the fare and he said that I should have been charged ~$35. I contacted Z-trip to report the incident but they never contacted me back. read more

The one time I tried to call a cab from this company, they never showed up. It was the middle of the day on a weekday, and I had a doctor's appointment that was about a half an hour drive away, so I called for the cab an hour and a half before the appointment to be on the safe side. After waiting for a half an hour, I called again and was assured by the automated response that a cab was on the way. After another half hour of waiting, I called again and waited for an actual person to respond, who told me their system had somehow completely ignored my request, and that a driver was now being sent. In about a minute the driver called, and through his difficult-to-understand accent I was able to make out him saying that he'd pick me up in 5 minutes. I waited for him for a half an hour, and at that point I had already missed my appointment, so I called and cancelled. I would not recommend this company. read more
