Actual vegan gelato! Not the "we have vegan options....berry sorbets". It's so rare to find actual vegan gelato. I got the Stracciatella, which I do not think I have ever had in a vegan version. Got a couple of vegan/gf croissants for the morning: plain, and peanut butter and jelly. Everything is clearly marked as plant based, with gluten free noted when it is. They do serve a few animal based menu items, so pay attention to that. The worker was helpful and let us know it would be a bit for the croissants as he was putting out the gelato selections and serving gelato to customers. Ok by us as the croissants were ready when we'd finished our gelato. There are pictures on the wall describing the various gelato flavors, which is a nice touch. It's a small gelato store with a case you can sew into with limited seating, but it was welcoming enough for us to take a seat and enjoy our gelato. With my gluten dairy free diet, I bookmarked this spot to try out. It's heaven sent when you don't have to worry if the food you order will make you sick. I finally made it happen today and I was excited to try out the food. I ordered a Power chicken arepa and a lemon tart to go. Both gluten free and dairy free. The lady behind the counter was friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. The restaurant is beautiful with lots of desserts and gelatos to choose from. I can't wait to return to try those out. My arepa was hot and delicious with every bite and my lemon tart with a great balance between sweet and tartness. I will be back to try more items. read more

How awesome is it to have somewhere that is a safe haven for vegans! Their desserts are yummy and have so much to choose from. But their savory dishes are the underdog and is the reason why I'm giving them a review. That's what brings us here the most. Their "meat burger" is so delicious and clean. The gelato flavors were not good at all -- tried coffee, terrible; the cookies and cream, mid at best; the almond brownie, interesting but nothing something I'd want to eat a scoop of. Unable to find any ice cream I wanted, but still hungry, I settled for the avocado toast. It was mounds of store bought guac on very lightly toasted hamburger buns. This is a great new addition to sweet treats in Weston. It has only been open for 10 months, and I can see it is going to become a favorite stop for gelato and pastries. Their gelato selection is huge and it is all vegan. You can see the gelato machine working right next to where you pick up your order. The place is super cute with very nice, lively decorations and comfortable seating areas. There are also a few small tables outside if you prefer to sit outdoors. In addition to gelato and pastries, they also serve breakfast: açaí bowls and pancakes. And they have a nice selection of coffees (including affogato) and teas. Cute little gelato/ice cream spot tucked away. We ordered the pistachio gelato and the coconut gelato each paired with a small waffle cone. It was smooth and creamy, and fulfilled our dessert sweet tooth after dinner nearby. Spot was clean inside and cute in decor. This adorable Venezuelan-owned gelato boutique opened about a month ago at the southeast corner of the AMC plaza in Weston. Don't be deterred by the large red "Ice Cream" sign in front of the building. If anything, it's what brought us here. I for one, was pleasantly surprised with the selection of vegan muffins, pastries, parfaits, and of course, their creamy gelato which I abundantly sampled. I chose a small cup of passion fruit that I just about slurped--even the crunchy seeds I discovered here and there were a wonderful surprise! After walking around and snapping some pics., I ordered a blueberry muffin for a Happy Friday treat! This seems like a great place for kids parties. I can also see the planning of an intimate Baby Shower or a GNO. They finally had the Sweet Sesame in stock from it not being available when we went in on Sunday. We also got a to go cup of dark chocolate and coffee. My daughter asked for a topping of gummy bears which she got on the side. At the last minute I decided to pick up a blueberry muffin even though my daughter kept telling me to get the Biscoff gelato since I sometimes eat some at night for a treat. The muffin where the blueberries settled was tasty, however, the parts that had no berries was a bit dry in my opinion. With that being said, I will definitely come back to try their gelato offerings. My daughter is looking forward to their seasonal corn flavor when it becomes available. read more

I've been coming here for over 6 months. The gelato is very good. However, the prices were just raised and it seems unreasonable compared to the portion size. I got a single small scoop in a cup for my daughter, and it cost me over $6. A double (which we used to share) would've been almost $10. It's not really worth it for me to come anymore. I finally got my vegan daughter to go after telling her about this place a whole year ago. When she asked if we could go I was so excited! She ended up going with two flavors: Bubble Gum and Sweet Sesame; however once we got to the shop, they unfortunately told us that they were discontinuing the sweet sesame; she was disappointed but replaced it with pistachio. Please Origamy, bring back the sweet sesame!! She liked the pistachio but didn't like the bubble gum since it was too sweet for her. I got the cheesecake cookie bar; it was very good. My daughter had a bite and only liked the filling part. Next time we go, she says she wants to try the hazelnut crunch bar and some other flavors of their gelato.
