Dr. Gigi (recently left and is missed) explained what was happening and how the treatment plan I was on would help. By week 2 I was walking again with no pain and could see a big improvement in lower limb pains. I also love the staff. By the time the lawyer and Norview Chiropractor finished with their payments. My husband and I together didn't receive 10,000 out of the 32,500 between the 2 of us. So take my advice. Go to another chiropractor or if you use them don't allow them to schedule all those appointments for you. And make sure you ask how much ea session is costing. The huge private parking lot assures finding a space for your vehicle will never be an issue. Staff is friendly and efficient, they make you feel comfortable and appreciated. My wife has serious issues with her spine and was barely able to walk for more than a couple minutes at a time before we met Dr. Richard Guinand who was referred by my wife's primary care physician. By the time we met Dr. Guinand we were pretty much resolved that surgery would be necessary but the doctor was very reassuring and took his time explaining exactly what was going on with my wife's physical infirmities. He was very friendly and engaging, even a little humorous. He said he felt that a course of physical therapy may be enough to deal with the issues. He stressed the importance of completing the program and then recommended a few facilities for us to choose which one was the most convenient for us. We selected Bon Secours In Motion At Chilled Ponds which is only a few miles from our home, Dr. Guinand set it up and it turned out to be a wonderful choice. After a couple of months of therapy my wife's condition had improved so significantly that she no longer required a scooter when doing grocery shopping and was once again able to do yard work and pretty much anything else she wanted. I had heard good things about The Spine Center and chose them. I had a PT I was happy with and he allowed me to continue there. I was happy I did not have to make the drive several times a week. He must understand the pain and torment the neuropathy causes someone, as he is right there when you need him. He has never told me no and he has explained what he is doing every time. I got the best therapist in Patrick. He cared about how I felt mentally as well as physically. I was in therapy for two months. I worked in and out with their exercises at home along with wearing my night boot (on both feet) as well as doing my daily stretches. Unfortunately nothing really worked. Why the 5 stars? The people who work there are incredible. Patrick, Megan, Cindy and Beth are awesome and wonderful people who truly have a passion for their jobs. I will also say they give some killer deep tissue massages when I needed it the most. They always found ways to make sure my pain was relieved even if it was temporary. I would say if you need help then don't wait as long as I did to go to PT and I'm prettier sure I would've had better results. If I had to go back; I would still go see them.

Over the years my doctors have come and gone and even returned years later. It never seems to matter which doctor I see. I am well aware that this is a teaching environment and, as an educator myself, I find that encouraging. I can always get in to see a doctor especially if I don't care which one I see and usually I don't. I highly recommend this practice to new patients or new residents in the Norfolk area.

Dr. Barot and his team have been fantastic, so much so that I my mother, my sister, and my sister's daughter have all been there as well. And last night, my 7 year old BIPAP Resmed machine stopped working in the middle of the night. I was very concerned about not having a working machine in time, so I contacted Dr. Barot who was actually on vacation, and he made sure his team (Alex and Lois) were able to action immediately to help ensure something was found. I was able to get a replacement BIPAP machine this afternoon, even with the supply chain issues currently impacting supply. All because Dr. Barot cares about his patients. Excellent doctor, I give him my highest recommendation.
