THis is Employer provided…read more Before reaching out, I even confirmed with my insurance that this ATI Physical Therapy provider accepts referrals from my doctor. Despite this, I had to contact their team multiple times just to try and make an appointment. Unfortunately, the staff I spoke with were not knowledgeable about their own policies, and the management seems generally poor. I was given conflicting information, like, "Oh, we don't take chropractor referral, but we take primary Dr's one," and so on. They seemed completely clueless. Furthermore, the way the team responded to me felt highly unprofessional and lacked basic ethical customer service. Thanks to my insurance, I can get care anywhere I choose. I will not be calling this incompetent team again.

That should have been enough of a warning, that they were buying good reviews. I met with Kristie, who had recently attended a class on posture and alignment, and evidently was eager to put this to good use. I had gone in for a recurring should tip/back pain. Rather than treating with ultrasound, massage and TENS, and then adding in stretches as had previously worked wonderfully at my PT in PA, she decided it was all in my posture. Offering NONE of the traditional methods of healing, she gave me a photocopy of exercises to improve my posture. Now this might have been fine when the current issues settled down, but not as the first course of treatment. Also quite unpleasant, there is no privacy for initial meetings. Kristie did not have the professionalism to speak quietly about my medical history, and talked loudly enough for everyone else there to hear. I would avoid this place.
