Comber physical therapy itself wasn't my favorite experience, but Dr. Danielle Young deserves all accolades for making therapy wonderful. She was very well educated on my situation and went out of her way to help me recover in a timely manner. I absolutely adore her. I was barely able to walk when I walked into comber but with her persistence and patience I've been able to run. The negative side is there seems to be a high turnover rate. There is also a gentleman named Chris who calls around dinner time, even though I requested him to no longer call. In my humble opinion, Dr. Young is the best in the business and worth the headache of turnovers and a persistent man who calls without purpose. Without Dr. Young I wouldn't be able to be the parent I am today. I will forever be indebted to her for giving me my life back. read more

The physical therapy team was amazing. I was impressed that I worked directly with a physical therapist at every appointment instead of just doing exercises with an assistant. My treatment felt personalized to my specific needs, and I could tell it was making a real difference. Unfortunately, my experience with billing was very disappointing. When I started treatment, I was told my first two visits would require a $70 copay, my third visit would be about $35 because I would have reached my deductible, and after that my visits would be covered at 100%. Instead, I was charged $70 for my third visit. When I questioned the charge, I was told the original information was incorrect and that I would owe $70 per visit until I reached my $6,000 deductible. While I highly recommend the physical therapy staff, the front desk needs to provide accurate insurance and billing information so patients understand the true cost of treatment before beginning care. read more

Front desk is not upfront or accurate about how much you will pay. I was told I would have only a $25 copay each service session. Turns out it was a 20% coinsurance and the clinic only bothered to inform me once I got a massive bill. This clinic does not care enough about its clients to be upfront about the cost. read more

Less than impressed. The therapist/team are great! However, the sense of simply revenue generation was pervasive. At my initial appointment, I was informed I could have dry needling done after a few "regular' sessions. And of course, they recommended 3-4 days a week for a simple pain management ailment. After a few hundred dollars in co-pays- and $1000s to insurance - to lift 2lb weights, I finally had an appointment with their certified dry needling therapist. A day before the appointment, the appointment was canceled, as they discovered he was not certified in upper extremity. Nothing heard for a while until receiving multiple calls to simply start coming back in for standard therapy. When informing them they had an incoming therapist certified in upper extremity, the individual wasn't aware (understandable) aware, made no attempt to find out in order to set up an appointment, and simply discharged my case; requiring another referral if returning. Cleaning up cases makes sense - I can definitely see the need for that; however, the sense that if it was too difficult, and not simply returning to generate revenue, they'd move to the next. Always a full-house, and definitely felt as though simply pushing as many people through, as often as possible, simply to increase revenue. Again, the team was great; guessing that mindset comes from management. Can't say I'd recommend again. read more

I can't believe I'm having to write a review like this however, I feel compelled to let everyone know that this office here has been taking advantage of clients for who knows how long by picking and choosing who gets charged a $35 fee for either cancellation or late fee within 24 hours. According to their policy, it says that you may be charged so who has the final say on whether you get charged or not because I'm in 2 1/2 year returning patient who has had at least 10 cancellations if not late shows and has never been charged. I called early Monday morning to let them know. I had tested positive for Covid and wanted to know if they wanted to proceed or just reschedule and the rogue and unprofessional receptionist told me you can either come wearing a mask or reschedule and I will have to bill you $35 for reschedule /cancellation. After numerous attempts with the office supervisor, Kris, I was informed that the owner refused to give me a refund even during the circumstances of me being a 2 1/2 year returning patient and the fact that I had Covid . instead, they're not to keep a customer happy and returning, but said since they already had my credit card on file, they bill it and refused a refund, and that is extremely unprofessional not to mention unhuman it doesn't matter whether we have gotten cheers for Covid. I did not want to spread the germs and God forbid somebody sick on my account because they insist on getting my money by having me show up sick. Their actions have caused me to reverse any and all referrals to all my family, friends and customers. The charge would've been justified if there were no true reasoning for the reschedule/cancellation. I've been going to Comber PT for almost 2 years. Brett was a good Physical therapist but Comber PT as a company is horrible. It's their policy that if you don't let them know 48 hours in advance you will not make your appointment. They will charge you. I have neurological condition being treated at John's Hopkins. I had a flare up which is to be expected the night before and the charged me $35 for not giving enough notice. They punish you by hitting you with fees for days you just can't make due to your health condition. I just got kidney stones and they charged me again. I even went to the hospital but they don't care. Then because I missed they sent me a letter saying they will no longer treat me because I missed about 3 to 4 visits in 2 years. They also will not fit you in when you have a bad flare up. They are a hateful company. They are out for the money and could care less about your disability. I would not go back there again. My goal is to bring this to everyone's attention. Avoid this place and read the reviews on yelp and other places. Don't take my word for it. read more

I had the pleasure of meeting Dr.Bruce today and could not be more pleased. I had a chiropractor in Maryland that I loved so was a little reluctant to find a new one. Happy to have found Fusion Chiropractic, and Dr. Bruce. The staff at the front desk were friendly making me feel welcomed. Tavon was a gem and so easy to talk with. This was my first visit so I was impressed that Dr. Bruce took time to get to know me and what was going on. And Asking several questions and sharing his education and experience as well as a little about himself gave me confidence that coming here was a good move. And speaking of moving, after just one session I feel amazing. I am thrilled which is why I am taking the time to share. First the positive -- the physical therapists are fantastic. I had rotator cuff surgery and was getting scar tissue build-up. The work they did on me helped significantly. It seems a bit chaotic there at first -- but came to realize it was controlled chaos and they had everything under control. Now the negative -- Make sure that you do not get overcharged! I had reached my cap with my insurance company and therefore did not need to pay a co-pay. Despite my questioning it on multiple occasions, they required me to make a payment on each visit. I overpaid them by hundreds of dollars. Even though they were getting the payments from my insurance -- they did not stop collecting from me. Once I gave the verification from the EOB from my insurance, they agreed that they owed me a refund. However, they would not refund me UNTIL I WAS NO LONGER A PATIENT! I had to stop going there and opt to move to a different PT group in town. The therapists were stunned and disappointed -- as was I. It has now been several weeks and I still do not have my refund. My advice is to carefully and immediately follow up with your insurance to make sure that you do not overpay Comber. read more

Bulifants location: The front desk staff are rude. I don't understand why my fiance and I are not greeted upon our arrival...not a word! As I wait, seated not 20 feet away, others are greeted cheerfully when they enter.? We've received this treatment ever since we pointed out a charge the male receptionist told us we had to pay was found by myself and confirmed by the office manager to be erroneous. I will NEVER again choose this location for therapy services, and probably not Comber at all. read more

I've been going here for about 9months and have had some major problems with their receptionists. The doctors are wonderful, but my complaints have fallen on deaf ears until Dr. Hummel was hired. He is the first to listen. I have had major medical issues for the last 8 years (including 11 surgeries, the last of which was in August), which is why I have attended their practice. They were fully aware of my issues and that I would sometimes need to cancel or change appointments. One of the receptionist's has repeatedly tried to kick me out of the practice and has attempted to refuse to book me, despite the higher ups and doctors excusing my attendance due to my very real and severe medical issues. Dr. Hummel has been very kind and helpful in all aspects of my treatment and has listened to my frustrations and has made a plan of action to help (as it seems many others have had similar issues with her). This has given me much hope because I was close to switching practices. When you are 28yrs old, trying to finish law school, having had to take 4 years off of school due to surgeries caused by a broken back from playing D1 volleyball, the last thing you need is to feel guilty that you aren't able to get out of bed on a particular day, especially by the doctor's office that is supposed to be helping you. I really hope Dr. Hummel is able to turn this practice around because the doctors are great, really care, and really help! read more

Great place, Dr. Russ and the staff are all talented professionals who know exactly how to make the pain go away! Was here for knee rehab and first visit walked out with 80% less pain. Easy, flexible hours and simple location. I worked with two PTs and three PT Assistants and they are all knowledgeable experts. I would highly recommend this clinic to anyone who need to recover from injury. read more
