I do think most people make appointments I tend to just wing it and walk in. This place is appropriate for men, women, and children. To me it's just like a real salon but they have more hands-on help available if they need it . They are very professional and very passionate about what they're learning. The hours are, I think like 8-3 or something like that, all I know is that I believe you have to be there before 3 PM to get in and then they stay open until like 4:30 PM. Well, Kim, the friend's cousin, did a GREAT job cutting my hair, and for only $5.00!!! No one would ever guess that I got it done anywhere else but a high end salon! And they also do everything from perms to foils, and the foils only cost about $20!! It's a great place to check out if you are looking for something different with your hair but don't want to spend a fortune, and you are also helping these girls out every time you go because they have to get a certain amount of everything (haircuts, manis, perms...etc...) before they can pass the course. So go help out a high schooler and get great cut or color while you are at it! **I believe that there is also the college classes that cut hair from 5 PM-10PM, so if you would rather go at night...you can do that too!**

I was new to the area, and with the winter weather, my skin was getting very dry and breaking out more than usual, so I decided to schedule a facial. When I arrived, I was welcomed by someone who seemed to be either the teacher or the owner. A student performed the facial while the teacher observed and occasionally offered guidance. The place was clean and you can get haircuts and nails too. The treatment itself was extremely mild--honestly one of the mildest facials I've had in over 20 years of getting professional treatments. It was an ok experience for trying something new, but it didn't leave much of an impression.

Their selection of polish is minimal and the color I selected had lint in it which the student had to remove several times. She put so many layers on that after I left, it got smeared so badly that I removed polish after getting home. They have no nail dryers. Also, be aware they don't accept cash and although their website says no tipping, that isn't true. No teacher came to check what student did as it says on website. Won't go back for other services after this.
