When I was moved closer to her for another treatment, I asked her to leave because her coughing was spreading germs all over the place. She made a sarcastic remark. I immediately left, went to the front desk and canceled the rest of my 36 appointments. A business that lets sick employees amongst its customers, many elderly, should be avoided. BTW, the treatments I received were great by the therapists.

However, OPT on Ligon Mill Road in Wake Forest tops them all! Olivier and his staff were recommended to me through a home PT after a full knee replacement. Adding to this surgery were complications from Vertigo as well the right knee in the same shape as the pre surgery left knee was. My appts have been on time, positive mental attitudes from all staff members, along with just the most friendly professionals, and very knowledgable. Full knee replacements can take a lot of time, patience and work. Having such trained pros helping us to recover, heal and strengthen without overdoing it - makes all the difference! I know what I am going to be going into with another full knee replacement coming up, but with the care of OPT I am ready to schedule the next. Thank you all for the incredible first rate patient help you give all your clients!

I had…read moretherapy here for 6 weeks and, while they were able to increase flexibility and strength, they really do not deviate from their playbook which did not include addressing my main problem and what brought me into the office to begin with. When, after about four weeks, I mentioned to Chip that I believed it was costochondritis, he was rather dismissive, even after I forwarded information to him about the condition. Well, if all you want to do is run your playbook, who needs a diagnosis? At that point I started to look elsewhere. Upon discharge, he admitted to me that they have not had as much success as they would like with rib and hip injuries. I would've preferred to hear that at onset. Also, I do not recommend spending the $1000 for their laser therapy. The results for me were extraordinarily temporary, despite being applied directly to the rib cage area during my tenure there.. 2025 Update: I was able to get significant relief from an out of state osteopath who specialized in OMT and was able to place the ribs back into place. Forget wasting your time, energy and money on practices that do little more than run their play book.

Blue Cross…read morenow requires pre approval for physical therapy, and Raleigh Ortho finds it easier to charge YOU than to play their required role in approvals and appeals. The team at this office took 3 direct requests (each time saying yes I'll do it), 2 calls to Blue Cross' provider to check status, an escalation to therapy management and 6 total weeks to appeal a pre approval denial. The appeal was successful but Raleigh Ortho is holding us responsible for all the charges in the interim and says it's our fault we didn't discontinue therapy for our child during this period. All for therapy where the therapist never even laid hands on our child, just assigned exercises. I guess I should be grateful, their failure to do their job led us to a far more successful physical therapy practice elsewhere.

I cannot stress enough the extreme physical, financial & mental toll caused by this merciless illness & the adverse impact it has had upon my family.

Please take the time to stop and carefully read anything you are asked to sign in their office. During my visit to the Raleigh urgent care location, I was provided with an arm brace without being clearly informed that it would cost nearly $200. I later discovered that a similar brace could have been purchased online for under $25. I was not given the opportunity to decline or explore more affordable options. Additionally, if you are paying out of pocket, make sure to get your quoted price in writing. At the Wake Forest location, I called ahead and was given a price for my follow-up visit. I paid that exact amount at the appointment, but was later billed an additional $25 with no prior notice or explanation. To make matters worse, attempts to resolve this issue were unsuccessful. The manager never returned my calls or responded to my email. Overall, if you must, I strongly encourage patients to ask detailed questions, request written cost estimates, and fully understand and question any documents before signing to avoid unexpected charges.

There is no way I can succeed at quitting smoking if I have to focus on doing it for 6 weeks total and not just one day at a a time, plus, I was told after the 6 weeks I may schedule an appointment so we can talk about scheduling the surgery for who knows when... What?? So maybe 6 weeks + 6 weeks or whatever. Figure out what business you are in. Set up to fail.
