I had low expectations because the other photographers I've used for engagement, wedding, and other family photos were either not professional, not on time, or didn't have great photos. Tami was AMAZING from the get go. I reached out to her via email and she responded promptly and with lots of info and examples. Fast forward to our trip, on my way out to her studio my 20 month old had an insane allergic reaction to a snack I gave him and he was covered in hives and difficulty breathing. I was 2 mins away from Tami's studio, and was alone at the time with no cell service, so I rushed to her house and she totally calmed me down as I was freaking out because I was so worried about my toddler. She was so kind, patient, and caring. She didn't rush us or anything. My toddler ended up being fine, and she got him to go from crying and breaking down to calm and playful. The easiest way to say this is, "I wish we had booked a different photographer on such a special…read moreday...a day that we could never recapture." Here are my complaints: The contract says that we would get our photos back in TWO WEEKS. We got them TWO MONTHS later after following up several times and getting the runaround. (I mean, two months is fine but not when you set expectations for 2 weeks.) We received over 1100 photos, many duplicates, triplicates, quadruplicates (you get my drift) of the same picture...so why did it take two months???) Even with some good pictures, the photos were not centered, cropped, straightened, or well positioned. We even received photos that were completely blurry. (WHY?) No attention to details...(isn't it the whole point of this work?) My advice, just have your friends take the 1100 pictures and edit them yourself. At least you wouldn't be upset about paying a "professional" for the same quality. (Out of respect for our friends' and family's privacy, we are unable to share most of the photos but here are a few to address the point.)
