Recently retired to area and was excited to try out the local cuisine and loved the menu and online site for Pizza 97A. Although a bit more expensive we were sure we would be delighted. What a disappointment. We avoided ordering on a busy weekend and waited for a quieter week night. Treated ourselves to delivery. Given a 45 minute expectation for arrival which turned into an hour and a half, we received shrivelled dry stone cold pizza. Called and told driver must be busy. Wanted to try a pizza place we had not yet ordered from in Osoyoos. Have to be honest - very disappointed. This "2 for 1" claim is a joke. I misread the menu and thought we were paying $38 for 2 large pizzas, but when I picked up, I learned it was $48 for 2 large pizzas, so $50 with tax. I have never paid that much for 2 large pizzas, and the pizzas were so-so at best. Skimpy on the toppings, not much cheese, thin crust that was more like naan bread than pizza crust. The taste was okay, but far from the best pizza I've ever had; not even the best in this small town. In terms of value for what you pay, it was the worst I've ever had. Sorry, guys, but you are way overpriced and need to step up the quality. read more

Had a very good experience with Pizza 97A. Busy August long weekend and we had a big hungry crew. The owner delivered the pizzas to everyone's delight, ahead of schedule, hot and fresh. There was a small mix up in the order (again due to busy weekend), but we were delivered the missed pizza for free within 20 mins. Most excellent and proud owner and fantastic pizza! Love the thin crust and the quality toppings! Will order from here again next time I'm in town. read more

I'm from Halifax and pizza out there is much better than what I can find in the west. In fact, in 25 years living in BC I have NEVER found a pizza worth putting in my mouth. Until I found Pizza 97a. Who would have guessed that to find one establishment in BC that understands how good pizza tastes we would have to search the extreme south of the valley? Haters: go to Halifax or New York and have pizza like it was invented before you flame me. Until you've been east you won't find decent pizza anywhere else. read more

Although the delivery driver was prompt and friendly, the woman on the phone was VERY rude and the pizza was not even worth the wait. Great traditional Pizza! Best in Osoyoos. I make it habit of enjoying Pizza 97A's pies whenever I'm in Osoyoos and need a pizza-fix. They have a good variety of different pizzas and use excellent ingredients, resulting in delicious, flavour-rich food. Service is extremely friendly and quick. At this point, the facility is not ideal for dining-in, so it's best to enjoy a Pizza 97A pizza by delivery or takeaway. The place can be a bit hard to find, but is actually very easy to get to. It is barely a couple hundred metres south of the main highway through town (Hwy 3). Call ahead and ask for directions if you are from out of town. read more

We wanted real pizza but were hesitant to order outside a chain. We thought fast food pizza might be a safe bet but we trusted the yelp reviews and ordered the 2for1 house special and Hawaiian. It was so good we got it a second night before we continued on our trip. I wish our crappy little town had a pizza 97a. The crust was actually edible, soft but crispy. Sauce was spicy and flavourful. Not the best pizza, but not terrible. If you are dining in the place has limited seating, and a few outdoor tables (in the sun during the evening). They seem to be going after the family quick dinner market as they tout all of their pizzas are 2 for 1 pricing (but yet the pricing is more than one!). read more

My hotel recommended this place after I researched several pizza restaurants in Osoyoos, BC on Yelp. The place didn't look very appealing from the outside but looks can be deceiving. There were only two small tables inside and I ordered a medium Hawaiian to go. The service was fast and friendly. I only ate half of the medium pizza. It was very good with perfect crust and NO grease. I would recommend ordering from here and I will order again. read more

Really good pizza. We're in town for our first visit to Osoyoos and decided to try delivery from this place. We got two large pizzas one was half cheese and half pesto chicken and the other was the house special. The house special was loaded with toppings. The crust was thin and chewy in the center and crisp around the edges with some nice bubbles. Delivery was faster than they quoted. read more
