My first time eating from this place and it was good! We had the wonderfully crafted "comfort" grandma pizza as it was well reviewed online and personally recommended. I had to get a mushroom and pepp pizza as it's a go to of mine and that didn't disappoint. We are a fan of loaded cheese steaks so we had to get that. And it was as tasty as they come. We needed some dinner while we were shopping over in Jersey and we passed this place many times in the past so we wanted to give it a try. The cheesesteak was seasoned well, lots of meat and hot onions. Cheese was mingled in perfectly and it all laid upon a very fresh roll. Pizza was large and looked perfect. I really enjoyed the crust which was more like a focaccia bread. Perfect golden cheese color, nice. The sauce could have been layered on a little bit more for our liking and I did add a little seasoning when I reheated the leftovers. Came to pick up food here, my husband ran into the store and then I heard a Big Bang. Looked up and the outdoor umbrella used at their dining tables out front, literally smashed into my wind shield and the hood of my car, all the way to the back with screeching noise. Car's windshield, side, front of car and back bumper all were damaged. For an independent pizza place it's not that good for slices to go. Had way better before Cheese isn't really melted. But it's crunchy on the bottom. Went to pay, and they told us the card was not valid because new owners took over and they no longer had the machine to honor the card. I asked him to call the new owner and ask if he would honor it. One of the worst customer service experiences I've ever had. My family and I have been loyal customers of pizza amore for almost 20 years now. Last year a relative of mine(who is in the high risk category in regards to covid-19) called up the restaurant because the employees were not taking proper safety precautions and were potentially putting the health and safety of themselves and customers in jeopardy. He was transferred to the owner, and gave the owner his name. After he issued his complaint in a civil manner, the owner proceeded to call my relative an asshole and told my relative to "go fuck yourself." Recently my relative and I went to pizza amore to pick up an order we placed... the owner spotted my relative and knowing from the name on the receipt knew it was him. The owner started harassing my relative and acting in a very aggressive manner. The pizza is only okay to be honest, the only reason we went there this long was because it's convenient to get to. The pizza tastes horrible if you eat it the next day, even if you stored it in the fridge and reheated it properly. Absolutely not ordering from there again. Next time I want pizza I'm going to PASSARIELLO'S in Moorestown, they have better prices and better quality pizza. read more

Arrived at this place (30 mins after I placed my order) and it was packed. That's a sure sign of good food. Pizza was on top of the oven when I got there so it was luke warm, not hot. Got home and ate my first slice. Wasn't too impressed. Heated my second slice and added oregano, garlic salt and pepper. Second slice was great. I liked the thin crust. It wasn't too thin and wasn't too thick, just right. Sauce needs something like salt perhaps. It has no taste. Sausage and pepperoni were good. I may try a speciality pizza next go round. I have never had a bad order, meal or service for more than 10-15 years or so. Their dough is made from scratch their Roast Pork sandwich is just as good as Tommy DiNic's in Philly. Their staff are always friendly, attentive and keep a clean "house". Even without delivery service they still have a steady flow of customers especially Friday thru Sunday. We have been going to Pizza Amore for 15+ years, the last few years pizza has changed, crust too thin , stale and always burned. Toppings are lacking. I am so dissappointed, when the mom and dad ran it, everything was 5 + stars. The sandwiches are very good, cant comment on the dinners as I never ordered. I did have to return a pizza one time, it was wrong and crust was burned and hard as a brick and the girl was so freaking rude, The owner though was very apologetic. First time ordering from Pizza Amore and the last time. The pizza was larger then the box it was packed in and the slices on one side were bent over so they were able to close the lid. This caused the toppings to slide across the pizza. Some slices had no toppings at all. They never cut the pizza all the way through so we had to finish cutting the pie ourselves. Finally it's time to eat a slice, I never had pizza so salty. I don't know if they ad salt or if it's their sauce recipe but this was a really bad experience. I called the shop and explained this experience and all they said was sorry. No attempt make it right or give a credit or coupon. Terrible. I would never recommend this place. read more

I like pizza crust to be on the thicker side. I can tolerate some thinner crust pizzas but this is cracker pizza. The crust is so thin that it cracks, like crackers. Seriously.
