I used to live in the area and remember getting their pizza high school. Decided to try them tonight because I was in the area . The food was really really good! Got a large plain pizza , a large mushroom pizza a turkey club and the kids got chicken fingers and fries. Everyone loved the food! The pizza was really really good . I went in at 10:40 asked if I could order something and the lady at the front counter said no we are getting ready to close. I told her that online and on the sign says you are open until 11 and that I'm not from around here I came all the way from Texas for a funeral and anything they had would be a big help. The fat lady with the jacked up teeth at the front counter rudely said they are not making anymore food tonight so I left without saying anything else. I have been here a week and I am staying down the road on Bem street and have frequently went to angelos because of the convenance and every time this women has been rude and seems to not want any business. When I call to place a order she is impatient and seems to be inconvenienced by customers when I had to call back to add something she sighed and yelled at me. I said I wanted bleu cheese with my wings and she yelled back " so what do you want ranch or bleu cheese"? Since I'm not from around here i would have found it a big help to have a place so close by and didn't have to try and find my way around to get some food but after dealing with this women's attitude I will no longer be ordering food from angelos and my grandfather who frequently orders food from here will also no longer be dining with you guys I suggest you learn how to treat your customers. This used to be a family favorite, as we have lived local for 30 years! Over the past few months, the food and the service has been less than satisfying. The pizza lately has little-to-no flavor and is COVERED in way too much tasteless sauce, so much that the cheese can't even stay on and is usually all over the box when it's delivered! The fries are always soggy and never taste like they were cooked long enough, but most recently we ordered cheesesteaks and the rolls were stale and hard as bricks!! It's disappointing with a family of 5 and spending $50 each time. And then the customer service has also gone down hill! When I call for an order they always make it seem like you are bothering them by calling, and speak incredibly unprofessionally using phrases like "uh huh" "yup" and "what else." One time my mom ordered and forgot to give the credit card number over the phone. I called back and the lady actually SIGHED at me. For calling to PAY!! I recently wrote a review about the other restaurant they own in my laurel and comparatively I'll be honest I like the mt laurel one better. That being said this place is pretty much still some of the best pizza in the area. I myself decided to get a large grandmas pie and it was perfectly thin, not to think not to fought just right. The sauce was sweet and the cheese was cheesy haha. Overall I ate the entire pie myself I mean I can eat. A lot but one man for a whole pie I mean just keep it in my when ordering. It is a little more thin that what a normal pizza would be but not to the point of the annoying crispy crust throughout. The staff was great easy to place and order an they were quick with getting it out and friendly. So until the other night this was my go to place to order from. I ordered straight from the menu. I ordered a chicken cutlet hoagie it says includes tomatoes lettuce and mayo. It gets delivered and its filled with onions. My kid wont eat it so I call and tell them the issue. The lady told me it always comes with onions and they would have to charge for a new one. I have been going to Angelo's since I was a little kid, so over 30 years. Their pizza is the best in the area, and their other dishes are slightly above average. I've never had a problem with the staff or service, and have always been treated fairly. I've done both take-out and eat in. The inside could definitely use an update, but overall it's good. My husband and I dined in ....we ordered the fried cheese raviolis for an appetizer ...SO DELICIOUS! .... We order at our business establishment every week that the company pays for. One of our new employees ordered 5 slices of plain pizza becuase the rest of the staff wanted steaks and wraps .Those 5 slices technically cost more than the whole fresh pie along .We called asking the person that worked there to voice our opinion on the matter and we were told " its not my F Job to tell you that its cheaper and fresher to order the whole pie".
