Once again, our trip to Round Table was amazing! The salad bar was fresh and everything was stocked. The pizzas came out quickly and as always, were super good. I really don't understand the one star reviews, other than people being upset with the manager, and how she runs the business... or somebody mentioning how, if you like the pizza you must live under a rock, and have never traveled... because I've been everywhere and Round Table still hits. The point isn't, is it better than something else somewhere else. The point is, it's better than most places in Elko. So if you're in Elko, it's gonna be one of the better places to go to. But by all means if you have the ability to travel to New York City or Chicago just to get pizza, please do so. It's the only pizza place in town that has all you can eat salad bar for only 6.99. Another pizza place has salad bar, but it's not all you can eat and it's not seven dollars either. The pizza itself is a bit more expensive than other places in town, but that's because they are loaded with toppings, and better quality. We decided on Round Table because half of our group wanted a good salad and half of our group wanted something else. So Round Table it is! Seriously though if you want the best salad bar in town, this is the place to go to. And unless there's a party going on in one of the rooms, it's always nice and quiet, and a great place for families to go and enjoy a nice meal. read more

Very Disappointed I used to come here as a kid and always remembered it as a great place with good food and a nice atmosphere. Unfortunately, my recent visit was completely different. The restaurant was very dirty and looked like it hadn't been cleaned in a while. The most concerning part was when I went to use the women's restroom -- I heard coughing inside, and a male worker walked out. Thankfully, I had a bad feeling and decided not to go in. At that point, I was ready to leave. We took our pizza to go as soon as it was ready and won't be coming back again. read more

I ordered pizza for pick up. When I went in the restaurant itself was rundown and could be a lot cleaner. It smelled like smoke. Like when something burns in the bottom of the stove. Took the pizza to the motel room. The pizza was a little over cooked but not burnt it smelled and tasted burnt from the oven. They need to clean that oven. It was so bad we couldn't eat it and it made our room smell like smoke all night even after throwing the box out. read more

The lady working at this location is VERY rude and unprofessional! She got very snotty because we asked to see the different sizes they offered for their ranch! She stormed off to where they had the ranch cups and grab the cups and showed from over there which we could not even see very well! I said sorry it bothered you to show us the size reference, she did not say a word! Her face showed how mad that made her! We ended up just canceling and leaving! I love Round Table and being in Utah, this is our closest location. We stop here on every road-trip. We always order online and pick it up in the store. We usually dine in too. My only/biggest complaint is this one is gross. The tables are dirty and not cleaned off. The bathroom is probably the worst bathroom I've seen. Paper and trash every where, toilets not cleaned. So disgusting. When we have gone in, it's not even busy. I don't understand why people are standing around and not cleaning. BUT the food is good! read more

Pizza was okay. When we walked in the place had a faint smell of cigarettes. We ordered got our food in a timely manner, a little while later the place started to smell like cigarettes again pretty bad. I had opened the front door since we were there with my 7 month old. I think it was "Linda" who ran up from the back and said they were not allowed to have the front door open. I told her it stunk like cigarettes in here and she just replied that they could not have the front door open. Sorry, this place clearly needs serious training from district managers. We called in a pizza order 20 min before they closed as we were coming into town last night. We ordered a thick crust pan pizza with light sauce. When we arrived, they were trying to figure out how to get it out of the pan. They were unable to, and said it's the first time it's ever happened. We used to eat at round table pizza all the time back where we are from and clearly it wasn't pan crust. They said they had to make me a new one, and that it would be done in 5 minutes. (It takes 20 minutes to bake a thick crust pizza). Whatever, it was late, so we waited. The pizza we got was very thin crust, and it was gooping with sauce, and still mostly mangled and uneven. Plus there were cheeseless bubbles on my kids part, which made them not like it. Not really sure what's happened to round table pizza in general, it used to be the best around some years ago, but now EVERY TIME we go, no matter what state or city, it's extremely subpar. This will be a long, honest review. 1st off, don't bother posting negative reviews on Google. The owners will hide them & consider spam!!!! I'm here to be the voices of those who won't speak up as they feel it won't do any good!!!! The Elko community needs to rise together and stop supporting this business or limit support of this business to a minimum. Change needs to come to this store, and it won't be anytime soon. Within the last year, this establishment was improving. However, within the last few months or so, this restaurant has gone under. The store was improving under the old general manager, but the assistant manager is now the general manager. Attitudes are not customer service friendly. They clearly don't understand customers are what gives them tips & how we are treated means how we tip and return business. I am now referring people to other locally owned/small businesses. Round Table Pizza has been around since 1959, which means tradition for many. That means parents and grandparents want to bring family here to dine in. I know I don't want to from the furniture needing an upgrade, the rundown games that aren't upkept, the horrible business practices of everyone that works here, & uncleanness of the store don't give this store your business because the owners clearly just want money not repeat or satisfied customers. I've never seen the owners at this store. I know if I ran a store even if I didn't live in the town of that store, I'd want to do in person check-ins and upkeep on my store. The store is cold when coming in, and personalities add to the coldness of the store. You can feel the tension and unwanted feeling when you walk in. You can tell customer service has distractially changed. The general manager won't greet you, she will have rude attitude with you, even threaten to 86 you from this store especially if you complain or if you're trying to defend yourself as you the customer are always wrong even if you mention to her maybe you shouldn't treat me the way you are, & her music is too loud where you can't talk or hold a conversation. Why support a business that has employees like this? How can you have customers when you are 86, everyone? The giant open sign and fixed indoor lighting make it look opened at times if the open sign is on and has a readable color. It looks better at times than before, but the general manager and her family and friends will make you feel unwanted and like she/them doesn't want to be there or to deal with you. When you call the store, no one greets you or says who you're talking to, and it seems bothered like you're placing an order. When you go to dine in napkins aren't filled on tables, parmesan and red peppers aren't filled, tables usually aren't cleaned off. Good luck with them having ingredients to make a pizza or other menu items for a small menu as multiple times they have been out of ingredients. The general manager doesn't know what she's doing. They are all unprofessional and don't wear name tags either, so you can't call them out by name. Lastly, they use a third-party service on deliveries, so there is no guarantee you will get everything you ordered. Don't give them business visit any other locally owned business or cook at home as pizza tastes & looks horrible at this establishment, & you will get rude customer service with your pizza. read more

Ok...at first I was pissed...they got my veggie pizza order wrong...I had been on the road for 11 hours and had my heart set on a Gweneviere's garden personal pizza. I love round tables red sauce and always order extra sauce, lite chz. But they made a gourmet veg with white sauce...blah. :P My husband texted me that they were remaking it but he showed up at our hotel room with a gourmet veg with a minimal amount of red sauce! Boo. We walked into Round Table at 330. Placed our order. 45 minutes late I asked where our pizza was. The lady said we are just starting to make it. There was only 4 other people in the building and they had got there food. All the tables were dirty. I asked the lady if she could wipe our table down and she handy me rag and said there was water on the table for the rag! I ordered a beer and the glass was dirty! After waiting 50 minutes a kid brings the pizza out and said he was sorry, as the owner didn't tell him a tag was hanging. Our pizza, it came to us raw!!!!. This place is awesome. Me and a coworker had a job behind the shop. Asked one of the guys how fast it would take to get one since we had to get to our next job. He told us a few minutes. We ordered a pizza and went to pay. The employee says nah, we got you. It's the least we can do. The pizza came out a few minutes later and was perfection. Best tip I received in a long while. Glad to see a Round Table back in Elko. Tried it tonight after seeing review on Yelp from last October. I got a medium thin crust, pepperoni/ sausage. The person who took my order over the phone was great. Food was typical Round Table, which was awesome. Very good pizza. I will be back. Some constructive criticism don't over top the thin crust pizzas and I would recommend cooking a thin crust a couple minutes longer to get a bit stiffer crust. Overall good job. Worst place ever. Went here after lunch and did the buffet. There no clean plates or forks. The buffets had 4 pieces of pizza and that was it. Waited 10 minutes and no more food came out. Talked with another guest and they had been waiting 45 minutes for food and silverware. The places was filthy and in need of a health inspection for sure. We are regular patrons of this establishment and this was by far the worst experience we have ever had. We came around 1pm on a Sunday and we were the only people there. We ordered 2 pizzas, breadsticks, and a dessert cookie. We went to sit down and most of the tables were filthy and full of garbage from past customers, despite the fact that they were not even remotely busy and had employees standing around in the back. The table we did finally sit at everything was sticky- the chairs, the tables, the booster seat, the napkin dispenser- everything. The pizza arrived about 25 minutes later, fairly typical for a pizza place, and everything was pretty good. However, we let the employee know about our dessert cookie and they said they had forgotten to make it and it would be about a 20 minute wait. A little later when I took my son to the bathroom, it was filthy. Everything was once again sticky, the toilet looked like it hadn't been cleaned in a while, the soap dispenser was empty and when we got back to our table our cookie still wasn't there, approximately 30 minutes later. I went to ask the employee and he said it would be another 3 minutes. 15 minutes later we went up and asked again and he said it just got done and was cooling. 50 minutes into waiting for this cookie we finally got it when we went up and said we were leaving and he put it in the box and gave it to us. In addition to all of this, the air conditioner in the restaurant was clearly malfunctioning, as it was 85° inside. I've been a Round Table Pizza fan for more than 35 years. I will never visit this one again. Placed an online order at 7:12PM, order confirmation indicated we'd receive the order at 7:57PM. At 8:30, no order, no contact, no nothing, so I called and spoke to the manager. She was very nice, apologized, but wasn't surprised as it seems this happens regularly. From here we go from bad to worse. She offered to send a bottle of soda for the trouble, and re-took our order. Order finally arrived at 9:30PM, barely luke warm, and completely incorrect! To make things worse, the promised soda was not included. You'd think if spending more than $40 on pizza, they'd at least get the order right. Another call to the store, and another manager.
