The business appears to do a bit of take out and delivery the dining room was completely empty. They had a great albeit small salad bar which was loaded with fresh veggies. We have seen Ruby Mountain Pizza many times while visiting other stores and the gas station near by. We thought we'd finally give it a try. Oooof. The place was pretty rough inside and looks like they're one slow night away from being out of business. But somehow they seemed very busy with delivery and take out. They had a pretty nice selection of specialty pizzas and toppings. The employees were nice and service was good. The pizza was awful. The crust was really the worst offender. It was hard and dry but not burnt. It almost looked like a shallow pie crust and there was barely any sauce on the pizza. I have literally been all around the world while serving and have never had such bad pizza. I've had better pizza in South Korea and Dubai! It's worth driving into Elko to get some pizza somewhere else! read more

The za was tasty, the crust is a lil hard so there's room for improvement there, but nice sauce. Thinish crust is fine, not bulking szn yet. We visited RMPC after a long trip and had high expectations based on the reviews on Yelp. Plus, I am all for supporting local businesses. We ordered plain bread sticks and their version of a combination pizza (also referred to as their "house specialty"), the Ruby Dome. The bread sticks (options given were plain or cheesy) were just a block of bread with no seasoning (we ordered plain). We thought they'd at least have some salt or garlic powder or something. They are the literal version of plain. They were moist, though, which made them bearable. The pizza just had a funky taste of overwhelming oregano. The toppings, with the exception of the green peppers, was placed underneath the cheese, so every bite resulted in a huge mess of pizza falling out of your mouth. The other discernible flavor was the crumbly sausage which tasted a bit like old meat. There were no visible onions or mushrooms at all. The large pizza was $20, and looked more like a medium. The price seems a tad steep. The two stars are for the staff who were very friendly. Sadly, I will order from a chain restaurant if I visit the area again. read more

The best pizza joint in Elko. It's clean and very friendly. We eat in and have it delivered and never had a bad pizza or wings. They have a fresh salad bar and pizzas and wings are made to order. It does take some time, but we usually order before we go and it's ready when he get there. Jack the owner is a great guy and into helping out his community too. While the pizza was tasty our family ended up sick for days after eating it. When we called to let them know, the girl that answered got an attitude with me and said that everything is fresh so there is no way it could have been the pizza. However it was the only thing we both ate and were both so sick. It's very disappointing since we love pizza and have it about once a week but will be sticking with Dominos not only because of getting sick but the attitude and lack of care when we tried to communicate it with them. Been living in Spring Creek for over a year now, and have thoroughly enjoyed each and every time we've visited Ruby Mountain Pizza Co. They have fresh ingredients and awesome combinations, especially the Ruby Dome, and (our favorite) the Meat Eater. Also, the cheezy bread sticks are awesome. But, by far, I feel that what makes them so great is their customer service. On any given night you'll see the owner out and about either making pizzas or conversing with customers - not a lot of places in town can admit that. So we'll keep on going back and telling all of our friends to do the same thing. read more

We tried two pizzas about a week ago and all I can say is YUM. At first I worried because we had a time schedule and we needed the pizza before the 45 min. that was quoted. And to our surprise, we got it 15 early. I like the fact that they put the peperoni underneath the cheese. Its tasts better that way and I like the great customer service, it showed that they cared about us.
