This place is my FAVORITE shop in Natick Whenever I'm working its my go too place. Wheather its the chicken parm pizza the awesome sandwiches or the pastas its to die for. While the price is a little higher its worth it the ingredients and cooking are better than anything you'll get anywhere else in Natick. Excellent pizza, good service! This has become our go-to-place for well prepared traditional pizza. Kudos to the hard working friendly staff. Medium crust with proper texture hits our sweet spot. Much prefer to the excesses of cracker-like thin crust and doughy thick crust. Toppings were of decent quality, applied with a generous hand. So far, we have gone with standard fare - cheeses, pepperoni, sausage. Tomato sauce with nice balance. Results not too oily. We have been planning to explore the rest of the menu, but have been happy with the standard classics. Advice: (1) I recommend ordering from the Pizza By Rocco website and avoiding Slice and the other intermediaries. I do not want to give a slice of the action to Slice. (2) Go with curbside or counter pickup instead of delivery. Spend the time picking up piping hot fresh out of the oven pizza. Much preferred to soggy luke warm fare delivered by Grub Hub. read more

Was in the area for work, was looking for a place to grab a quick slice. Walked in asked for 2 slices, was told he had a fresh cheese and was handed a box. The reason behind the 2 star, is the 2 slices cost $9.67, to me that is a steep price for 2 slices of cheese. After checking their menu on slice, I noticed they are listed as giant slice of cheese, I guess 1/6 of a pizza is "giant". Also the slices were definitely not that fresh as they were luke warm, if you charge that much for slice, the least you can do is heat it up. As far as the taste of the pizza I'd give it an honest 6.8, may be better fresh but overall not worth the price in my opinion. read more

I am updating my review. The chicken gyro was good. It had fresh chicken tenders that were slightly seasoned, diced tomatoes and sliced white onions. The pita bread was on the thick side which was fine. There were supposed to be a few french fries inside the sandwich that weren't there but I don't think they would have added anything to the gyro. The zatziki was thick and fresh tasting. I appreciate that Rocco responded to my initial review. It takes time for a new business to get everything right. I would definitely get the chicken gyro again. I might get a vegetarian sub again if iceberg lettuce was used instead of romaine. The meatball sub was good but I don't eat very much red meat so I would try something else. read more

Way to go, Rocco! Just stopped in for a couple of slices and they were all out because it's busy, but they made us a small pizza in less than 10 minutes. My partner and I don't always see eye-to-eye on pizza because he likes a thin-crust Neapolitan and I prefer a little more fluff to my crust -- but Roccos's was exactly right for both of us. Some of the best pizza in the area. I'm usually a traditional pizza guy. Mozzarella, tomato sauce, and pretty much any topping (except for pineapple. C'mon man.) But Rocco's buffalo chicken pizza is insane. You gotta try it. Also, the pies are pretty big. Like most pizza places, they get very backed up on Fridays so factor that in to your order. read more

The girl was nice. That was it. I am usually a generous tipper but I decided not to. My child took two bites and refused to eat. It was 20 degrees out, I called once I arrived so I can limit indoor time and just pick up and go. All they had to do was to acknowledge and tell me if they need more time. They picked up the call and just went to do something else. Once I stepped out of my car, this girl called mary immediately came out to walk ahead of me. And the whole dude gang took their time to serve her. I had cold pizza and yucky chicken wings. I am not sure where these awesome reviews came from. I don't usually leave reviews but this was By far the best pizza in Natick and surrounding towns. I got the Rocco Special and it was nice and thin, light, fresh and the toppings were plentiful. It was one of my first time ordering and I could tell the owner and staff truly cared about making it a great experience no matter if it is the first time or 100th time. They value their customers and it is nice to see the owner so heavily involved in not only ensuring the order is delicious, but also guaranteeing great customer service! 100% my new go to spot and I highly recommend. read more

Ordered the two for one pizza tonight, Tuesday. Apparently, I said twofer, instead of special. Instead of $20.00, plus the price of toppings, I was charged $44.00 plus tax. Hubby picked it up. After questioning the price, the employee, who was very nice, said I didn't say special....... I called after eating... the pizza was delicious. The other one went to my 90 year old neighbor, who I accepted $10.00 from. So my pizza was $ 37.00. It was good....but not $37.00 dollars good. I called Rocco,s. He gave me the managers phone number. I called. No answer, and no voicemail set up. Hubs and I just found this place. We like it. However, this was not the right response from the establishment. If I had been the one to pick it up instead of my husband, I would have walked out. Since the employee could not help, and the manager does not accept voice mail, this was my next best option. Apparently this pizza was bigger. I would be more than happy to pay for a two for one with the difference in cost. I would look forward to hearing from someone. I live in the next town. After seeing really good reviews on the Yelp, I tried this place today. I ordered a large cheese and a large Valeria's Garden pizza with a extra chicken. In terms of pizza, the size is soo big, thin slice, well cooked and had perfect sauce/cheese combination. We really loved the pizzas. Next time I want to try their margaritas and chicken + broccoli pizza. This is one of my favorite pizza place and I so impressed with the quality!! read more

Mortified by unprofessional and terrible service (apologies for the long-winded review, but I wanted to put it all out there): I ordered online and was given a delivery window for 1 hour later (6:36-6:51pm). This was not a problem. 1.5 hours later, I still had not received my order. I tried calling the restaurant, but kept getting their voicemail (I left a voicemail). I called back multiple times, and finally got an answer (this was now 2 hours later (7:45pm)...~1 hour after the delivery was supposed to be there. My kids were starving, so we already fed them. At this point I was just going to tell them it was way too late, and to please cancel my order. The gentleman on the phone was abrupt, interrupted me and kept asking me questions about what I had actually ordered . Again, I told him 'no thank you..its too late for us to eat..can you please cancel'. At this point he said that his driver was already on his way, and he hung up the phone on me! He was right- the driver pulled in several minutes later, left the food at our doorstep and went back to his car. We then saw him quickly return to our door, pick up the boxes and take them back. My husband went outside to confront/question the driver, but he drove away. I tried calling back, and again there was no answer. I then contacted the company (slice) who arranges all of the orders and deliveries, and they too, were unable to get in touch with this business. I thought that at this point this restaurant would have the decency to at least refund me the money I had spent given that not only the order was unbelievably late, and their customer service was abhorrent, but (most importantly) we NEVER ACTUALLY GOT OUR FOOD. But no. The payment posted. I am now dealing with disputing this charge. Anyways, I would very much recommend AGAINST this establishment. They are rude and unreliable. again, apologies for the rant. read more

This place is amazing. Over the years a lot of different places have popped up and I really hope this is the last one. I like to make my own pizzas, off-menu with some pretty ridiculous combinations. So as I sift through their options I'm thinking "damn I hope they don't mess this up"...and they never do. This is the first pizza place or restaurant in general that actually takes care of the way they prepare their food. Even at places like sweet green or sushi places, you'll go off menu and end up with the ingredients piled together with no love at all. Delicious is where I will start! First time I tried this place. I walked in and was greeted by the nice manager Jay. I looked at the menu and two pizzas really caught my eye, the buffalo chicken ranch, and the steak and cheese ranch. So I got two smalls and a plain cheese for the kids. The buffalo chicken ranch was delicious! Just enough spice and plenty of chicken. The steak and cheese ranch was equally as good! I had two slices of each and still have plenty leftover for lunch tomorrow. The kids said the cheese pizza was excellent which is amazing because they never compliment anything. Pizza by Rocco is easily one of the best places around! First discovered them back in late March when few places were open and they've quickly become one of my favorite restaurants. The staff are fantastic and very friendly! The 420 Munchitizer and the Typical Johnny pizza are a perfect combo. The wings and chicken tenders that come with the Munchitizer are always cooked perfectly and I would never have thought that Thousand Island dressing would be good on a pizza! And for dessert, their tiramisu is fantastic and so is the Nutella pie! I really can't say enough good things about this place and encourage everyone to give them a try! read more
