Last week I asked mentioned to my fiance, that I may have overpaid the delivery guy. Btw his name is Sean or Shawn. He always takes care of us, so I never really thought twice about it. One week later, today, he rings the bell. We didn't order any food. We open the door and he immediately explains that we did overpay. He gave me the 20 and I knew what happened. Typical pizza place but the quality of the pizza was a step above most places in the area.

Great staff and great food! Came in on Labor Day and the shop was busy but everyone inside was still so nice. Large Italian cold cut sub was flavorful and fairly priced. The bread was a real standout - super soft but not too doughy. Tastes like it is fresh from a bakery. I came because my go-to spot was closed in Framingham but I will definitely be back! read more

I personally had a very good experience here, the Pizza was a Greek style and made just the way I wanted it as I asked for extra sauce crispy, A very good value, The place was clean and complying with current standards, friendly staff, Italian sub was Large and ingredients were fresh and you can tell their produce is very good and the bread was a Bakery style bread not supermarket it was very good, The greek salad had excellent produce, excellent olives , great portion, and excellent dressing, keep up the good work ! read more

We recently moved to the area and have been on the search for god pizza. We live in Framingham, about 6.5 miles from this place but decided to try it based on the pictures of the pizza on yelp. Well, the pizza is as good as it looks. It is classic Greek style pizza, which I LOVE, and which is almost impossible to find anywhere outside of New England. They put a good amount of toppings on the pizza, the sauce is slightly sweet with a hint of mint or oregano, and there is a perfect amount of cheese, not too much and not too little. But really it's the crust that is so good. It is firm on the outside and soft on the inside, with a nice slightly olive oil flavor. Since discovering Ashland Pizza Palace, we pick up a pizza at least once a week, and the order has always been correct and piping hot and fresh when we pick it up. read more

ugh. pizza palace is under new ownership and i figured it couldn't get worse than it already was, but here we are. We ordered a large buffalo chicken calzone tonight; quoted 20 mins for pickup. my husband arrived after 20 mins and was told "two mins", then waited ten. asked again and was told "5 minutes" and waited another 10 - he waited at the restaurant for 30 mins for a total of 50 mins with no apology and no excuse. Not only that, but the calzone was pretty gross - soggy and too much cheese, not a hint of buffalo flavor and huge chunks of what seemed like boiled chicken. we're adding pizza palace to our "banned" list. we definitely won't be back. read more

When people take over a new place it takes time for them to find their own way .. I was a client of the previous owners as well as an industry professional and former employee of this establishment so when I beta customer I was at first disappointed and made a rash reaction and review. But the truth is we never stopped ordering because ultimately the food has always been good and I felt embarrassed over my terrible decision about posting my review.. last night I had ordered one of past favorite items that i had not ordered until last night .. " the house special pizza no anchovies " and it was outstanding one of the best i have had .. it was made exactly the way i would have made it and cooked perfect and not because i asked but rather because when i showed the man running the oven told me he would like to cook it a bit more so it was perfectly cooked.. because of the amount of toppings on it .. he could have just pulled it and served it but in the middle of a Friday night rush he took his time to do the job right .. thats is exactly what good client service and pride of product looks like .. so well done guys and its nice to be back ..! read more

I did not dine in this restaurant, so my review is solely based on a delivered pizza. This is a very dependable "go-to" for good Greek pizza. The crust was delicious. The delivery took over an hour, however I was located in Framingham. Even just looking at the picture I included, I wish I have a slice right now. Yum. read more

After not having food from here in 2 and 1/2 years because of the downgrade in food when the new owners took over I decided to get it today. I got my usual from when I use to come here consistently, the Ziti Chicken Alfredo with no cheese or broccoli. When I opened it the pasta it was completely dry - plain, where is the alfredo you may ask? It was in the bottom of the container in a watery like substance; so as one does, I mixed it and boy do I wish I didn't! The Alfredo water sauce tasted like pure water-downed butter. I will no longer be ordering from this place and instead be going to the Framingham Sub Shop & Pizza located in downtown Framingham where they have delicious food. read more

Sat in restaurant for over 1/2 hour waiting for a simple cheese pizza, while I watched their staff prep and send out delivery orders. Since when does a delivery customer take priority over someone literally standing in your restaurant? This was my first and likely last time here. Unprofessional staff, i'm literally watching them avidly avoid eye contact with me as i'm writing this. Too bad :( - Update - Turns out that after exactly 46 minutes standing inside the restaurant, I was asked to repeat my order. When I did so, they looked behind them and pulled it from on top of the pizza oven. It had been sitting there for over a half hour(!!) Now, at this point, one would expect a profuse apology and maybe a free dessert...? Nope, not a single apology and instead I was asked whether or not I had paid...by the girl who literally took my order IN PERSON. Like seriously, ridiculous. Tried it once - never again. Not sure why there are bad reviews - we've been getting pizza here for over 2 years, weekly and it's definitely the best Greek Style pizza around. If Greek Style isn't your thing - fair, but otherwise, this place is great. They are buuuusy, but efficient and delicious. The salads and sides are average, but that's ok since we go for the pizza. Bonus - if you ask for your pizza well done (except for cheese which comes well done) it's perfectly browned. enjoy! read more

Ugh, I don't know what people in town see in this place. The toppings are tasty, but the sauce and the crust are not good at all. The sauce is VERY sweet, and the amount of cornmeal used to keep the crust from sticking is distracting at best. If you want great pizza in town, go to Pizza Mine or Nick's. depending on whether you want NY or Greek style. Skip the Pizza Palace. read more

I am surprised this place hasnt had a review yet!! Since I have moved to Ashland, this is the place for Pizza for me. I first order a couple of cheese pizza's for the kids at my wifes baby shower.. My bro-in-law who is from NY/NJ sneaked a slice and gave his stamp of approval and that means a lot!! The pizza is all about the crust and the sauce.. and they do them both really well!! Typically people leave the pizza edges but here I eat it all :) This place is run by a greek family.. so guess what.. they also have a very delicious gyro sandwich!! My typical order at this place are a cheese pizza and a gyro sandwich. If you are in the neighborhood, definitely give this place a try!! read more

This is definitely somewhere I get take out from every time I am home. I'm a big fan of their grinders and wings. I haven't gotten pizza from them in a while. The other day I ordered the chicken stir fry wrap with cheese. It was so good. I was really surprised to be honest. We often get their flyers and coupons in mail and having read such decent reviews on Yelp, we decided to give them a try today. Two Words, LOVED IT!!!! Our Falafel wrap was delicious, the Falafel weren't to oily, in fact were quite crumbly and soft. The food from look and taste seemed quite fresh. I have ordered from this family for 7 years. Tonight I ordered a pizza and they sent a sub. When I called them, instead of apologizing, they said they would make my order and I would "pay the difference". I called back after another 30 minutes, and had to argue with the manager who stated he would "provide a discount next time". I will never order from these fools again. NEVER AGAIN . We ordered 2 grinders at 12:30 on a saturday for lunch to be picked up. It was not busy when we arrived at all. They were ready and we came home to eat. The rolls were over cooked and so hard they crumbled and were just not edible. I believe they were not fresh at all. That was our last time ever going there. read more

Good local place... But be Careful, if you do delivery and order by Credit card, they write down your Credit card information instead of putting it into the machine directly. When our delivery guy arrived, the CC information was written on the slip. he wanted to take it back with him, but I would not allow him as it had the CC info on it. Food is good, but they need to get a better CC process in this day and age of stolen information. read more
