This restaurant is in a store front but don't let that deter you. The pizza is phenomenal! The salad was great also. This location is a great place to walk to or stop by if you've spent a day on the lake. It's right by the Kimberling City Bridge. Good food! read more

Got there about 5:45 pm on 6/2/26. Only 1 customer in restaurant. Took our drink order right away (4 of us). About 15 minutes later, a young man took our order. He didn't right it down. 2 other customers had come in since we did. One had some changes from the menu due to dietary needs. The other two (one a Greek pizza) were right from the menu. Our order took about 25 minutes (only 3 other customers at this point). 2 of the 3 pizza were not prepared to order. It cannot be that hard. 4 items were left off the Greek pizza and the other was not to have tomatoes due to dietary needs. Server took back the Greek pizza and added 2 of the missing 4 toppings. I have to think the 2 pizzas were not prepared correctly since the server did not write down our order. It appeared that 3 of the owner's or employees young children were wandering throughout the restaurant, getting into the Gelato which was not very appetizing had we wanted some. We have been to this restaurant every time we come to Branson (twice a year) but odds are we will not return. Server offered no apologies for pizzas being made incorrectly. New ownership lacks quite a bit read more

Ordered online with delivery. Waited past the time it was to be delivered and called and we were told they don't deliver. Drove to the store where our pizza had been sitting for 30 minutes and the person behind the counter explained that the delivery order goes out to door dash and no one had picked ours up and maybe never would. We had a mostly cold pizza, paid and tipped a non-existent delivery person. Person stated they have no control over their website and apologized. Pizza was ok and the person nice, but will not go there again. read more

Have been going there for 22 years. Always great. Picked up one today and the quality has gone way down. Half the toppings and just thrown together. Will not be going back. Such a shame. read more

Food tastes great. Garlic knots taste a little different...left in the smoky oven too long? Cheese pizza and sausage pizza are delicious. Ordered Caesar salad with chicken and was served without chicken. Chicken came later. Soda fountain machine needed recalibration with Coke product...not enough Coke syrup (possibly). Dr Pepper was good. Dinner salad is small but tasty. Service was slow. Only one young lady handling everything. Waited 10 min for gelato even though young man stared at us waiting by the gelato station. He eventually was told we were waiting and he came around to help. Ambiance is your typical pizzeria, good smells and tvs set up to different blooper stations. Laughed the whole time we were there. read more

I'd do 5 stars but I leave that for amazing or above and beyond. This place is great little pricey and very good. 5bucks for a draft Blue-Moon beer. Around 19bucks for 12 chicken wings. We have had Pizza and Wings so far. Both were very good. Their location in Kimberling City has a buffet. Make sure to Check times the schedule is different then what you might think. Another find while in Branson. High reviews that are well deserved. Greeted when we walked in. Seat yourself. Large menu to choose from. Very reasonable prices. Short wait time to get food. Hot, plenty of toppings and spiced nicely. Medium fed 2. They now have Gelato and I recommend it a read more

Pizza was good. Had GF crust option. We could tell that all the toppings and cheese was fresh. There was only 1 waitress but she handled the tables like a boss. This restaurant also has gelato! That alone deserved 5 stars. Would definitely recommend and come back. read more

I love pizza.. mostly the New York type! I don't eat it often but when I do I want it to be worth my time. We brought my 3 grandsons here along with a nephew..all under 9 years old. The pizzas were quickly devoured! It was delicious! I'm a fan! read more

Do not come if you are in a hurry or like A/C. The whole restaurant is really hot. The pizza takes FOREVER to come out. I mean... a really long time. I think they prioritize take out and/or delivery. That's the only thing that makes sense. The manager walks around like a grumpy old man and does not engage with anyone. The ladies waiting tables and at the front were great. Pizza was ok. What a crazy good surprise! I was referred to this restaurant by a man from Oklahoma that I was chatting with at another restaurant about an hour away. He told me that this was a must and he even warned me about the outside not being the most attractive. He just kept saying not to get scared off and that my entire family would be extremely happy. Well, he was right. First off, the crazy large salad that ends up coming in two LARGE bowls is great. It is not the bagged junk, it is freshly prepared. My husband said that the ranch dressing is beyond good and I was very, very pleased with the balsamic dressing. Turns out, they prepare them themselves The pizza selection is insane,extremely creative, and well priced considering how many freshly cut toppings would be put on the pizza. In a short time afterwards, the restaurant started to smell amazing and two very friendly people came out with our food. 2 calzones and two pizzas were piping hot and ready to eat. My husband and daughter had calzones with a slightly sweet but fresh tasting pizza sauce. The calzones were coated with a garlic butter and herbs and smelled sinfully good. I was quite bummed that I hadn't ordered a calzone until I tried my pizza. I ordered the garden pizza that had pretty much every veggie on it. You can tell that everything was freshly chopped and skillfully placed on their hand tossed dough. It was simply a very fresh and balanced pizza. My son's Pizza was cheese only. He loved it. My husband tried it and said that he missed the flavor he had on his calzone when it came to the dough. I loved the dough and saw no problems. Oh well, to each is own. We talked to the workers here and they were a delight. They are very dedicated and hard working people that are eager to please. I highly recommend you swing by and try this place. You can dine in. (Yes, it is clean) or you can take out. Take it from this Chicago girl, you will enjoy your pizza experience here. read more

It is worth the drive from Springfield for the tastiest pizza with chunky, fresh ingredients and chewy crust. The service was timely, the atmosphere is a simple Italian theme and very clean. It's located in an unassuming strip mall, but don't let that stop you. It's delicious! read more

Recommended by our aunt as best pizza in MO. We didn't expect much as we had been to NYC last month and ate at Julianna's. This is very good pizza and their crust, while not NYC thin, is a nice balance and study enough to handle the the almost too much toppings. We ended up with 19 people on a Saturday night around 7 PM. They not only accommodated our huge party they did it with grace, humor and efficiency. We will definitely go back. read more

We have driven by Pizza by the Chef so many times when we come for vacation. We have always found a reason to go some place else. Tonight we called in a pick-up order for two large pepperoni and sausage pies and a full size Greek salad. Must say the pizza was absolutely delicious. Chewy crust, generous on the sauce and real Italian sausage. What a pleasant surprise. This pizzeria has risen to the top of our favorite pizza places in the Branson area. One of the tastier experiences at Branson. The key is to apparently get out of the "theater district." Which isn't far, but that seems to be where the tasty food is located. The pizza was fresh, good ingredients, and clearly made to order. It could have used more sauce and was a bit on the pricey side. But you do get a lot of pizza for the money. Easy to share a smaller than usual pizza with multiple people. The garlic bread was the low light. It was just baked bread with butter and some seasoning. Something that should really be free while you wait. I wouldn't get that again. Otherwise a good experience and would certainly visit again to try other types of pizza they offer here. read more

This place was phenomenal! Having lived in Italy (Bella Napoli to be exact) I am always suspicious of "authentic" pizza. This really is the best pizza in Branson. Great prices, great wines (try the Nero D'avola) and great, fresh pasta. We visit Branson from Florida once a year and I am looking forward to eating here again next year. Glad they are not on the strip with all of the craziness and tourists. Do not let the location deter you, (shopping center) I promise it is worth it. We had a great dinner without any wait time but we had a late dinner. The staff was friendly (a little unpolished, but good service and very helpful). In a word, a great way to end a long day of tourist trekking. :) read more

Great pizza and good service! I couldn't ask for more. We usually go to Pizza by the Chef in Hollister but this location is larger and nicer, so it was a pleasant surprise. Prices are affordable and the menu is great even when dining with companions who don't eat meat, there are multiple appealing options to choose from. We went with the Garden pizza and it was excellent with perfect crust, sauce & plenty of cheese and the vegetables on top were top notch. I would recommend this place to anyone and I'm not at all surprised it was packed at dinnertime on a June weekend. read more

We were already planning for next time when guests are coming down to get two racks and some burnt ends. May have to try the wings next time too. I definitely prefer and recommend Pop's Smoke Shack vs. Dana's anytime. Haven't tried the other local spots cause we "Q" pretty well ourselves when down. But Pops is definitely worth a visit when in Branson West.

We all liked this location better than the other Branson location. This one was quiet and set against the Ozark mountains. The food tasted great at the other location, but even better at this one!! You can totally tell they put more love and care into their food. Definitely our favorite breakfast place here in Branson! We will miss it for sure!! Come to Tulsa OKLAHOMA : )

We started with two mouth-watering appetizers: the meatballs and the killer bread, both were delicious. I created a custom pizza with various veggies, pepperoni, and salami, blending pesto and their tomato sauce as the base. So good! My side salad was a nice addition, though I wasn't a fan of the ranch dressing (not homemade). Thankfully, the house-made lemon vinaigrette with olive oil was a decent alternative. The ambience was also top-notch, with vintage cameras, film, and photography equipment adorning the space. It was a nostalgic journey through time, with music from the kitchen adding a nice touch as we caught glimpses of the football game. Our waiter was incredibly attentive, always on the ball with refills and checking on us. The restaurant offers various dining areas: a TV-equipped dining room, a separate bar with a pool table and other games, etc. Can't wait to return and try something new! I'm certain I've the experience to know what good BBQ is & isn't. And, boy howdy, this IS! Without a doubt, if Old 76 were in TX, they'd easily be on that coveted list of world renowned BBQ joints. That's truthfully rare to find outside the state. Situated exactly between Branson & West Branson, is this gem that's clean cut & the BBQ, sides too, is superbly executed. I'm not saying stuff to sound good. This is L E G I T, the real deal. They're pushing TRUE barbecue as it ought to be, not like some wannabe. I dare you to try any other place & find the same superb quality for ALL aspects. Get there before opening because the line gets long fast & the ordering takes time. There's limited seating that fills up quickly. I only wish it were larger in space & had the capacity for more help in front than 1 person. But for modestly using the limited space adjacent to a gas station, it's tastefully & professionally decorated & comfortable, just right for what it is, as opposed to the tacky, out-dated & sparse, or overdone interior that one tends to see elsewhere. Waiting for BBQ is honestly an experience & you must be prepared to wait your turn. That's how it is in TX for all the joints, folks ordering FCFS after waiting patiently in line for hours until sell-out. It's worth waiting on & building camaraderie with those about you. After all, you're about to celebrate gastronomically, I promise! Best sides: ALL of them but especially the corn casserole. You'd think it's vegetable bread pudding, it's so scrumptious!! Beans are no less than fantastic with bits of brisket - so warm & comforting. Potato salad is just a massive winner of full-mouthed goodness that's not typically mayo-ed down. Don't pass up the mighty fine coleslaw for topping your pulled-pork, pickles & bread for a highlight finish. Speaking of pickles, add more as a great acidic accompaniment. The sauce here is on the sweet side. It's really not needed AT ALL except to occasionally boost the flavor kick if taking leftovers for later. The meat's simple pepper & salt crust is all you need. & speaking of the Meats: Truly the star of the show as they should be. See the platter photo for yourself. Pick of choice or prime brisket. Prime for us. We could've appreciated a little bit thicker of a smoke ring but it was there despite the fast cook it probably endured. It needed to be a little less done on the fatty side but it was awfully tender anyway. Absolutely a winner brisket done right, so I can sweat the small stuff. All said, the perfect seasoning & bark set the tone & to me for brisket, that is most important. 99% perfect. Chicken: dark meat extra peppery & almost overdone but the white meat was super tender & nice to eat. It doesn't take away from the whole goodness of the platter though. Bologna: these ain't no lame Oscar Meyer store bought flappers. Talk about thickly cut, juicy heaven! Wow is all I can say - absolutely YUMMY. Pulled Pork: P I G G Y P E R F E C T. Don't even need sauce! Use the pillowy potato bread to die & go to taste bud heaven with rivers of salivation. This is so succulent, you might keep it all for yourself in a group setting. Ribs: BEST OF SHOW. These are guaranteed to be the best ribs in MO. Perfect pull & bite. 2 stacks of the thick bone-in pig walls left me amazed after just seeing the miraculous color & cook on the exterior of these spares. Their taste & texture solidified that Old 76 Smokehouse is the most bona fide BBQ joint I've ever been to in the Midwest. These ribs aren't somewhat good enough, they are majestic. My only wish is they'd had a beef rib aka meat candy option too. Desserts: both Bread Pudding & Key Lime Pie are highlights not to be missed. Stacked tall & the absolute righteous finish to seal the deal for such an experience. I just can't say enough good things about Old 76. Loved it so much, our 5-guy party bought shirts & a hat to wear in TX & TN. If this was local for us, "O76S" would be a frequent stop. We're BIG fans now. Last but not least, the gentleman working the show & taking orders was kinder than Jesus. He treated us right, & that's a fact. Talk about hospitality to the Nth degree. Ain't nobody going to be sad about that & we'll remember this kindness in anticipation of being right back ASAP! What we couldn't stuff ourselves above the gullet, we took home & all the girls promptly & heartily finished it off exclaiming how wonderful it was. They only missed out on the experience but not the tenderness & flavor!! Visitors & locals alike, DO NOT MISS this opportunity to dine like a king!! You will have died & gone to Texas, I mean heaven! One con & warning: if you don't have a truck with ample under-carriage space, avoid the furthest drive-way next to the fence. It is too steep & you WILL run aground, as we did.
