It was my first experience at this restaurant. The newly hired waitress was so sweet, her name is Paige. They probably did not give her enough training, to send her out on the floor alone on a Friday night. But, she deserves a chance, and I hope they train her well, and keep her. The food: I have had better pizza at a better price at Lil Caesars. The food came out room temperature, the quality of the over priced pizza was horrible. I use to go there quite a bit but today I have to put a huge complaint in! I called in a order for pickup for two personal pizzas. This guy named Will took my order. At first he seemed nice. I placed my order and told him that my husband will be in to pick it up. He asked if I wanted hand tossed and I said YES! When my husband brought the pizza and salad home, my husbands pizza was hand tossed and mine was FLAT! My husband when he got there also ordered me a House Italian salad with artichokes. When he got home the salad had no artichokes. So I decided to call Pappos and talk to the guy Will whom took my order. He told me I told him to make one hand tossed pizza and the other flat. Which is nothing but a lie! Why would I ask for flat when I always ordered hand tossed? I have ate there many times and always get the hand tossed. I also told him that there were not artichokes on the salad. He said, mame, I didn't make the salad! So that made it ok that the place messed up on my order and thats how he responds. No sorry, we will make it right? So I got very angry and he said to me mame I don't have time to talk to you I'm very busy??? Thats how a customer is treated when they go to Pappos? I asked for the managers name and I will be stopping by tomorrow to let the manager know that I will not be back! This Will needs to be either reprimanded or fired for how he talked to me. read more

We were just visiting Branson in our RV and came across Pappos Pizzeria and Pub. We had dinner there on Friday night. The food was absolutely amazing! There was an awsome choice of plates on the menu. It was very clean and easy to get to. Our waiter, Will, was also amazing. His customer service was the best we have come across. He was very social, he knew the menu very well. He offered us alot of options and answered all of our questions. If we didn't see something we liked on the menu, he would make it work. He also brought us out some cookies and they were the best I have had in a long time. I highly recommend Will and Pappos Pizzeria and Pub. Wow what an amazingly delicious pizza! I ordered the hot honey pepperoni with a rosemary olive oil base. I ordered mine with sun-dried tomatoes and double the cupped pepperoni. The hot honey is made in-house and topped it off just right, bringing all the flavors together nicely. I usually leave the edges of the crust, but not this time--I enjoyed every single bite. It was quite heavenly. An eight-inch from Pappo's definitely hit the spot. And I'd like to thank them for a delightful evening. read more

Ordered a pizza bowl. You get to pick up to 3 toppings, and any additional there is a charge. There was barely enough ingredients to cover the bottom of the dish. Very disappointed! We came in after a long day at silver dollar city. They said we'd have a 30 minute wait which didn't deter us. We'd been waiting on rides all day. They ended up sitting us within 10 minutes. They'd had a busy day and were short handed. Lori R treated us very well. They had a couple of issues with our order and went over and above to fix it and sent us home with fresh warm cookies to boot! Made a great end to our day!!! Amazing!!! My friend and I dined here for lunch for the first time today and were very impressed. I got the goat pizza and it was seriously the best pizza combination I have ever had. My friend ordered the buffalo chicken pizza, she loved it. We ordered some other pizzas to go for our husbands (I did the shrimp scampi one and it smells and looks absolutely delicious). There was a massive lunch rush and only two servers (just short staffed for today) but they handled it SO well and efficiently. So we came here because of recommendations from locals, and we're not disappointed whatsoever. There are a couple pizza's that are absolutely outstanding. The Prescudi El Prima. (I'm sure I'm spelling it wrong but it's prescudia with arugula on top. It is amazing. The other was the supreme (not same word but great). They have about 32 different beers on tap bunch of other things. I really liked the red ale that they had. We had really great service with both indoor and outdoor seating, and the side salads were to die for maybe split those into two because they're larger than normal. When it first opened, it became my favorite pizza place after 2 visits. It has been declining over time. I ordered a capese salad with bacon thinking it was going to be enough for lunch. It was $19. He also forgot to give us silverware after already giving us our food. The food itself was dry and unappetizing. I got the Midwest Philly Steak Sandwich. Our server forgot the au jus for my boyfriend's sandwich and brought two for us. I needed that aus jus. My sandwich was that dry. The location itself is loud and reverberates all over. Maybe the first mistake we made was to order sandwiches and not pizza. I ordered Sweet Ice Tea and was brought a glass of water with just a tinge of tan, tasted it, called the waiter over and told him that it wasn't tea. He took the glass off and brought another glass that looked a bit darker but still wasn't Sweet Tea so I requested water. The lady seated behind me had the sweet tea, waiter asked how she liked it (she said it was good) then the waiter loudly declared that he thought they have the best sweet tea. Honey, I'm from the south and I'm here to tell you that your sweet tea sucks. Sandwiches came and they were different ingredients but looked like they took a regular small sub bun, halved it and made two sandwiches. When they opened we loved it but they are under new management and our pizza was a disappointment. We got 1/4 of a meatball or less on a slice. Toppings were sparse and you pay extra for them. I am a local and thought I found a diamond in the rough, however, that was not the case. They only can play NFL games that are on the local channels, so I spent the afternoon with rodeo on the tv, and they would not change the channel to the one NFL game on Fox for the afternoon game Additionally, they allow children to sit at the bar. my rating has NOTHING to do with food, everything i've ever ordered at pappos has been amazing. i also LOVED my server Truman, but i had another encounter with a server who was not attending to me. i was having a lovely conversation with truman about my recent hair do, and this woman named Amanda made quite a few inconsiderate and kind of rude remarks on how she personally felt about my hair color. She claimed to have gone to cosmetology school and i quote said "if i walked out with that i would be angry with someone" which i think is something that should never be said to a customer. Again i LOVE pappos as a restaurant and Truman was a phenomenal server, but just warning some young lady named Amanda likes to go around giving unsolicited advice regarding hair color and style. read more

Not sure who was making the pizzas but they made the pizza with the Italian ham cut extremely thick and could not eat it. Had to toss it. What a shame.
