Seriously so irritating... when your standing there for 20 minutes waiting for the stupid lady to take my order... then after going over to ask her to take my order which I shouldn't have had to do in the first place... oh I can't we're done serving... uh really? Cause I feel I could have got my pizza n it been ready by now... they suck! It's always like this either get more employees or at least ones that can notice n multitask... just saying! read more

For 9 bucks, their Buffet Lunch can't be beat. $7 for senior's. Good pizza, pasta, potatoes, and a great salad bar with real ingredients. And don't forget about "Johnnies Broast Chicken." When I drove by and saw the sign, they had me at "Broasted". My restaurant reviews all contain comments on these two items: COKE ALERT: Yes they serve the good stuff, not the Pepsi crap TOILET PAPER NAPKIN ALERT: Unfortunately this place uses toilet paper-thin, one use napkins, as do many cost-conscious restaurants nowadays, thinking that the cheapest napkins save money, when one or two good napkins would have replaced the 20 I had to use. read more

Their food is great their service not so much. If you go in and get the Buffett it is great, but if you order on line their website is not what you can order. When I complained I was told the website might not be kept up to date. Some items were not available. When I asked why the person I talked to did not give me all the options, I was told we are training people for phone orders so they don't necessarily know how everything is, but they are working on it. When I said I was not happy, but that i needed to take my order since I had people waiting, but not sure I would come back again I was given a $2 discount on a $91 dollar bill. We tried them because of the new location, didn't go to the old location because of bad past experiences. We thought we would use the coupon that said, buy one , get one free. the one we bought was 20.00 something, and the second, free pizza was also 20.00 something, we said, well it says on this coupon, buy one get one free, the girl said no that is not the way it works, so don't fall for their coupon gimmick. Back in the day this was the best pizza - Not so much anymore The pizza has gone to hell right along with the service. Soggy pizza and the chicken is over priced and the worst . Update request: We ordered 2 medium pizzas that where not cooked all the way -soggy and a 8 pc chicken which there where only 6 pcs in the box I did call and spoke with a young lady who kinda chuckled when I ask if they new how to count up to 8 I feel that the crew you have in the evening time is very careless and young they literally where just hanging out nodody even said hello as I walked in the restaurant when she came to the to take my order she said what are you having . I would give 3 stars if it weren't for how the owners apparently run their staff. Pizza was okay. Our "appetizer" came after our second pizza, and was missing the wedges. I asked to speak to the manager, who seemed, like the other staff running the kitchen, to be frazzled. I insisted on a refund for the appetizer for a few reasons and it seemed like he wasn't supposed to give one. But it was the right thing to do. Maybe if the owners have to suffer with some of the financial repercussions of leaving their staff under equipped, they'll rethink how they do things. It's clear to me that this is a matter of poor staffing by the owner/store manager. These employees were not set up to give anyone good service. Pretty disappointing considering how long I had been looking forward to trying this place. read more

You have to understand what this pizza joint is... Yucaipa history!!! When in paramedic school this place kept us alive... The old location had soul. The new place is cool, smaller but it works. The lunch buffet is what makes the place. Listen you are not going to get gourmet pizza here nor will you get chucky Chesse pizza. The beer is cold and kids will have fun. My favorite pizza joint I absolutely love the salad bar, and the buffet is the best. I love having my families birthday parties there cause we always have fun and everyone leaves happy. The prize counter has a lot to chose from for the children and even adults. The managers and staff are AMAZING, love that the TVs have a variety of shows on them to watch. Love the variety of games to play especially the Jurassic Park game..... My favorite!! read more

This was my favorite pizza place 10 years ago when it was in the other building. It is disappointing now because they skimp the toppings and they are overpriced. I just got 6 pizzas for $90 and the amount of toppings per pizza were pathetic. Most slices only had 1 or 1/2 of 1 pepperoni. The 2nd topping was only spread in the center of the pizza and there was maybe 1/8 cup per lg pizza. They used to load up the toppings 10 yrs ago but not anymore. They also no longer have xl pizzas. Also, one of the pizzas was sliced sideways with 2 huge slices and several tiny ones. Definitely won't be back. Too bad - I used to love this place!!! My visit was 10/22 at 6pm read more

We ordered 2 pizzas, 8 piece family pack of chicken, plus 4 extra wings & 2 ranch. Got the pizzas, 6 pieces of chicken, no cole slaw or bisquets or ranch, 5 round potato slices. This has happened before. Sad when you look forward to something you pay for and do not get. read more

I've been going to Pizza Chalet for over 20 years, maybe 4 or 5 times only a year. There are many pizza places to contend with. I wanted to say that they have a good salad bar, but concerned over how many hands have been in there? I do like the selection. Johns Broasted chicken was purchased by Pizza Chalet. Watched one time on an order and saw they had the coatings in a plastic tub container, directly on the floor. Was concerned about food safety? For the money a good place and kids enjoy. Quality of the pizza is of equal value to what you expect to spend. read more

The food and drink selection is great! Good atmosphere for the whole family, especially with us being sports fans. The chicken is amazing and the hot wings are delicious. Wish they had better games in the arcade but the kids still enjoy and love it. read more

Came in to have dinner tonight, Friday night pretty busy in the game area... There was only one ticket machine working so we asked an employee for help. Jesslynn was actually on break but went and grabbed someone to help us. When our kiddos were done playing games and ready to cash in tickets we ran into Jesslynn again at the prize counter. The entire time she interacted with every kid and family with a smile and so polite!! She was incredibly patient and so sweet, just an overall outstanding employee!! We love Pizza Chalet!! We usually go for the buffet, which they have daily from 11am-2pm, because it's just the best deal. Otherwise, it's kind of pricey. Their food is always fresh though & the service is great, too... just a little slow when they get really slammed. The kids have a great time in the arcade & they can exchange tickets for great prizes. The only thing I would change is how HOT it gets in there. Zoinks!!! However, that's a first World issue... go check it out for yourself, you won't be sorry! read more

Worst experience ever! I called to place my order at 6pm on a Friday and was immediately placed on hold. I waited 5 minutes on hold then drove to Pizza Chalet where the line was out the door. I walked out the front of the line and showed the cashier my phone that was still on hold with their number, by now my phone was on hold for 17 minutes. Unacceptable!!! The manager offered to take my order which I wanted to go. The time was now 6:20pm, 30 minutes later half my order was ready. It wasn't until 7:20pm that the rest of my order came out. My entire order was only 2 large pizzas, potato wedges, & cheesy garlic bread, nothing elaborate at all. Over an hour waiting for this order was ridiculous!!!! I thought this place would get back to par. It didn't. Very dirty, no one cleans the tables, you have to sit at a dirty table to sit down. Came here for my daughters birthday the other day. I wanted something simple and affordable and close to home so I decided to try this place for the first time. After reading the reviews online I didn't expect it to be much but was feeling optimistic. Our reservation was from 5-7pm and all in all the pizza was pretty good but SUPER over priced, but the kids had a good time so that's all that mattered. BIGGEST ISSUE was the little teen girl with the plugs n her ears!!!! Super rude! First she came at 620 and wanted to put the next persons reservation papers down. I politely declined as we were in the middle of eating and I told her I didn't want the kids getting the papers dirty with their greasy pizza fingers. Then at 645 she tried to kick us out of that area and said she had to get ready for the next party. When I explained to her that my party was from 5-7 and that it was not only written on my reservation paper but also was agreed upon when making the reservation she rolled her eyes and walked away. The guys that were doing clean up were super nice but it took them a LONG time to take two orders ahead of us. I paid $50 for 2 large pizzas and 1 pitcher of beer on top of the $107 for the party package that included 4 pizzas and 60 tokens and 15 drinks. I thought the party package was fairly priced. It the extra pizzas and 1 pitcher was wayyyyyyy too much. I agree with the other helpers that the KIDS running the place could do better on time management and professionalism. Even after speaking to the manager about having issues ordering just a meat pizza we arrived to pick it up only for it to be completely wrong. It was apparent the location was very understaffed and overwhelmed. We will give them another try someday and hopefully they are doing better but the issues with ordering just one pizza and the difficulty in doing that and incorrect order sucks. read more

They don't take the fundraising coupon booklet deals anymore. I was told instead they will do half price. Online a medium pizza is $15 so if I bought two at half price it should cost around $20 with tax. I was charged $32 and was told it was half price because they use to cost $30 for one pizza. Worst service ever, called in order for Chicken and potatoes, was told 40 minute to pick up, arrived and was told order not ready yet, still had to wait an additional 30 min..... After another 20 minutes go by....was told order was given to someone else.... when checked again they didn't have a clue we were still waiting, horrible...will never go back again...only frequent this place because the original Johnny's broasted chicken restaurant place closed... I came here for a graduation party, and I got to say that the place was more than accommodating. Despite the fact that it was really busy that night, they were all really polite, and the food was delicious. We had pizza and wings. Love the new location. We got a chorizo and tomato but there wasn't as much chorizo as they used to put. The pepperoni and green olive was delicious. The artichoke hearts were great on pizza too. The arcade isn't anything to brag home about but keeps the kids busy. Very clean. I recommend this place! read more

My husband and I really like their lunch buffet during the week, there is a variety of pizza, thin, pan as well as cracker thin, if you don't see a pizza you like, they will be happy to make one with the toppings you want, no problem. The broasted chicken is excellent and the French fries and macaroni and cheese really go well with the chicken. The salad bar is quite good and always full. The people serving are always nice and accommodating. We eat here a couple of times a week and we always leave happy and full. read more
