    Our chips & salsa

Wife has wanted to eat here since they remodeled. As it was her birthday, I thought that was a great time to try it. We were seated in good order, and menus provided quickly. Our water came out fast, but to me, the service provided fell off a cliff at this point (was it because we ordered water only?). We ordered, and the food came out hot and tasty. I had the street tacos and my wife had the hard shell tacos. I thought the flavor was on point and my wife said hers was as good. Why the loss of two Stars? 1) I told the server it was my wife's birthday, never mentioned again. I didn't care about free cake or ice cream, I wanted her to be acknowledged. It was her special day and we were eating here to celebrate. 2) the service was lacking greatly. Never felt that we mattered, just a table to be served and to get us out quickly. Our water was never refilled, though it was at 1/4 full. To be fair, the server came around right after the food was delivered, but we needed it after we ate some. Server came around when we were ready to leave, asking " is there anything else", but by that time, I wanted to just leave (see#1). Lastly, as one can see in the photo, we had about15 chips , and a little salsa. That's it. My wife and I enjoyed the food, but the server made it not so. This is my opinion and my experience. I don't think I'll go back, but I was glad I stopped for the most part

I stumbled across this place on a Tuesday and decided to give it a try... The food was delicious and the service was attentive. I had the carne asada with nopales plate and the meat was seasoned perfectly and very tender. The plate also comes with a chile toreado which was my favorite, it added the perfect amount of spice! The rice and beans were also very tasty. To drink I had an horchata which was mediocre. It tasted store bought and definitely underwhelming especially considering it's a staple to good Mexican food. Overall the ambiance is welcoming. I will definitely be coming back but steering clear of the horchata.

There combo plate was a big portion I had to help the wife to eat it . We still Had let overs . Got to go box to take home

Can I just say we went there for the first time . Delicious!!!! There was a lot of people but we got served right away. We got the shrimp and steak plate. Everything on our plate was delicious and the homemade tortillas yummy. Will definitely be going there a lot more often.

My and my boo came to this place for breakfast. Let me tell you place is beautifully remodeled. Would not expect the vibe by looking at the outside. As soon as we walked in Myra gave us the best service. The food was great and the music was on point. Not saying nothing bad about my Banda music but sometimes you just want to listen to another genre of music. Music wasn't loud either. Service, food, and ambiance was on point. Found our new breakfast joint!

I hate giving one stars but the I've gotta this time. I found them on Instagram. I saw lots of really good reels showing delicious brunch offerings. I was excited to visit so I took the whole fam. The dining room was packed. We were seated quicker than expected, so that was nice. When we sat, our waiter was slow and neglected our table quite a bit. I was grossed out immediately after being seated. Everything felt sticky; table, seats, and menus. Bathrooms were atrocious as well. Not well stocked, or well kept. The food itself was quite a disappointment. Pictures and videos make it look good, but nothing really stood out in terms of flavor or uniqueness. Then we got the check. It was shockingly high. The prices listed on the receipt did not match the menu either, so they up charged us. I treated the staff with kindness and respect throughout our time here, even though they neglected us, so I wasn't sure why they up charged us. I kindly asked about the discrepancy and they said their prices increased etc. It was bad all around.

Back again! Just came for drinks this time and was not disappointed. Glad Angie was here again. The margaritas were delicious. My favorite is the cucumber jalapeño. Well worth it. Service and ambiance were as great as the first time.

The only reason it caught my eye was because our tax preparer was just down the street. It was obviously well loved by the locals after reading their great reviews and seeing a full parking lot. And this was on a Wednesday. We only had time for a quick bite, ordering nothing out of the ordinary. A quickie breakfast of sausage, scrambled eggs, and pancake, were all we had, but everything was nicely done. The pancake was big, light and airy, served with a carafe of warm syrup and a huge scoop of butter. The scrambled eggs were moist and fluffy, the sausage was basically a Farmer John sausage patty that was properly warmed but not overcooked, and very good tasting. My only criticism was the coffee being too thin for my liking, but keeping our coffee mugs filled was something they definitely did well! The service was wonderful. They knew we were in a rush, and handled us with TLC the entire 35 minutes we had. What I do know is, I will be looking forward to our next tax appointment, hah, knowing our morning will start off right here. Next time...chicken fried steak, or maybe a bowl of hearty homemade soup, y'all!

The fries were just as impressive: crispy, well-seasoned, and seriously addictive. The real standout combo though? Dipping those fries in their house made ranch, so good. Definitely a meal I'll be thinking about and coming back for!

That said, my favorite dish is still the skillet with turkey, avocado, and bacon. It's a solid option and probably the one thing that keeps me coming back to give it another shot. They've changed the decor slightly over the years, and there's a nice little gift shop section right as you walk in, which adds some charm and gives it a cozy feel. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by the sweetest staff, especially Hannah, who shared the adorable backstory of the place. The owners have a dog named Chai and struggled to find coffee shops that allowed dogs, so they decided to open their own... and that's how Chai Coffee Shop was born! You can definitely feel the dog-loving vibe everywhere, from the décor to the fact that pups are actually hanging out inside. Within minutes, one of the dogs came over and licked my toes (unexpected but hilarious ). It's such a warm, welcoming environment where people and pets can just relax. The ambiance is perfectly balanced bright and social up front, with a quieter, cozier section in the back if you want to read, study, or work. I had the cold brew, which was fully customizable. I told the server I wanted it sweet, and she nailed it! so delicious! I also tried their pumpkin cornbread (not quite pumpkin bread, not quite a muffin, but so good). They even have a secret menu I haven't tried yet, but I definitely will next time. Their espresso machine was temporarily down when I visited, but it didn't bother me at all, plenty of great options regardless and should be back up by Wednesday. Prices are super reasonable and right in line with other coffee shops, but the vibe here is what really sets it apart. It's cozy, dog-friendly, and just genuinely joyful. Can't wait to come back soon!

When our server came to take our order, I asked if my child could have pancakes from the breakfast kids menu with fries from the dinner kids menu. I completely understand if a restaurant has policies, but instead of trying to help or offering any alternatives, she firmly told me no twice without any explanation or flexibility. After my husband placed his order, I asked for a few minutes to decide what else we could order for the kids. Quite a bit of time passed and no one came back. I eventually got up to find our server because I thought we had been forgotten. Another employee brought my husband's food and was surprised to learn we had not finished ordering. At that point, my husband was eating while our children sat there hungry waiting for us to place the rest of the order. When our original server returned, I mentioned that it had taken a while. Her response was, "Well, you're not my only table." I had been polite throughout the interaction, so I asked if we could have a different server because it seemed like she was having a bad day. Unfortunately, the second server was even less welcoming. I explained the situation and asked if there was any flexibility with one of the combos since our family is vegetarian. I wasn't asking for a discount, only to substitute the meat for another side while paying the full combo price. She immediately said no, then loudly asked another employee about the restaurant's policy in front of us, making the interaction feel uncomfortable and confrontational. We ended up ordering the meal without the meat and simply accepted that part of the meal would go to waste. The service completely overshadowed the food itself. We never felt like anyone was interested in helping us find a solution or making the experience pleasant, especially with two young children at the table. The bill was dropped off shortly after our food arrived with a "no rush," but after everything that had happened, it certainly felt like we were being hurried along. I understand that restaurants have policies, and I respect that. What made this experience disappointing was not the rules themselves but the lack of empathy, hospitality, and willingness to communicate in a friendly manner. A little kindness and a problem solving attitude would have made all the difference. Will not be coming back.
